You need not be within the parameters of arithmetic to know that a circle is a circle........You don't need to be an expert in English language to know that 'recharge' has to do with bringing something back to life

I wonder if someone who communicates in English needs to be taught about a word in context again.

To the zombidients, recharge should have just one meaning irrespective of the context of its usage. Even if you are hearing such term for the first time, common sense should tell you it means bringing the lake back to life (you recharge your batteries to bring them back to life).

Some of them even mocked his '...parameter of arithmetics' comment. Tinubu's level of reasoning is far beyond their capacity. He was simply telling you that you need not be a scholar to know an obvious fact (is a circle not known even to an illiterate?)
PoliticsRe: TVC Disclaims Hoax Tweet That Called Peter Obi A Pastor by DesignMaestro(m):
The handler of the hoax Twitter account is most likely a PDP member from the north.

APC is currently faced with slowpoke opposition parties whose main mode operandi is childish social media propaganda. Go to YouTube, you'll see the number of channels posting silly contents against Asiwaju BAT as if he is the only contestant.

Well, the fact that BAT <><> is the surest is a big concern to them. No wonder they are having sleepless nights creating all sort of nonsense to defame him.

In Rivers, Tonye Cole is wasting his time so is Obi. Rivers state is PDP let nobody fool himself.

As for state elections. PDP will clean out!

As for presidency, it all depends on Wike. Wike knows Atiku cannot win. He also knows Obi cannot win. He also cannot endorse Tinubu because that is political suicide for him in rivers. But he can help APC by pushing PDP votes to Obi.

Be under no illusions, any vote for Obi in Rivers and indeed the SS and SE is a vote for Tinubu. The only place you could say a vote for Obi harms Tinubu is the SW (specifically Lagos) but you could also argue that those will vote Obi in the SW would likely either have stayed at home or voted PDP.
....objectively speaking, that's just the fact

Isn't it strange how Igbos want Nigerians to vote in their guy as president yet they hate when you show nice parts of Nigeria that are not in Igboland?

They flood your images with slums to tarnish and smear your progress.

How can you want to rule over a people whom you hate?

I don't blame the millions of Nigerians who would have voted for Obi but have decided not to do so because of the hateful, spiteful behaviour of his supporters.

Keep posting the slums since that's what makes you happy.

Evil creatures.

You did a good job. Lagos is changing for better every single day. Projects everywhere. Those Marina/ CMS pictures are old. The magnificent Marina train station has now transformed that waterside.

Ikoyi is gradually becoming the new lord of Lagos skyline with new structures springing up everywhere. 4 bourdillon and cuddle by Cadwell are some of the towers changing Ikoyi landscape.

Right from your subsequent response to me I knew you were provoked which led to your post but I understand.
The open hate for Tinubu by some in a particular section of the country can't stop Tinubu from being president if he is destined to. Personally I see a great leader in Asiwaju, being a leader with foresight and one who raises others, with verifiable track record. He is also a fighter and a go-getter.
Aside religious bias and the underperformance of the ruling party, Asiwaju wouldn't and shouldn't have had any difficulty being next president.
Best wishes for you and yours.
Thanks and best wishes for you too.

My good friend, accept my apology. I was wrong with my responses. You pointed out my usage of a verb where I ought to use a noun but I was too angry to even reflect on the error. I appreciate your maturity.

What prompted me to quote you was my displeasure with how some folks are always eager to make mockery of any remark made by Tinubu on matters relating to economy. I believe it is not fair considering his vast experience in both private and public sectors of the economy.

I gave the engagement meaningful direction from the first time I commented and out of your overzealous drive you quoted me and since then have failed to present any, let alone superior argument. In fact, you vehemently avoid presenting proof/evidence to back-up your position, despite my assuring you that I can make time to respond/engage you on the subject.
And like I posted, it's shameful hiding behind faceless platform insulting users thinking you can get away with it. Rest assured all we've been typing here have been followed by others and they form their opinions/judgment, of me and you. So next time don't jump at everyone's post spewing insults at them just because you think they are ignorant because in the end you have just proved who truly is!

Examples of proof in a Sentence

Noun
The document was proof that her story was true.

He claims that he was home when the murder was committed, but he has no proof.

The proof shows that the theorem is true.

Verb
She proofed the story carefully. (Merriam Webster dictionary).

Examples of prove in a Sentence

The charges against him were never proved in court.

The government failed to prove its case.

It could not be proven that the suspect stole the money.

A person who is charged with a crime is considered innocent until proved guilty.

Mathematicians trying to prove a theorem

To prove her point, she got out the old research.

The tests proved the vaccine to be effective.

Her second album was a hit that proved her critics wrong. (Webster dictionary).

The correct statement should have read -
"... then what else can be a better proof of your ignorance?..."

I have given you two lessons today, first on ethics and second on use of English. Third would have been most significant but you refused to further the discussion despite being the first to throw stones at me. Shame.

Proof not prove. Let's start from that correction.
If you are not the 'daft' you are quick to calling others, answer my question, with evidence. It's that simple. Like I said am ready for constructive and civil engagement. If you aren't, then keep throwing empty blows at the wind as you wish.
Again, I'm not surprised. It is a waste of time to engage a person who doesn't even know when to use 'proof' and when to use 'prove' in meaningful conversation.

My friend, you are a typical description of Nigeria's decaying education system and growing intellectual poverty among our youths.

Anyway, look for dictionary and get to know the two words and their meanings.

olódo. Why are you this daft?!

So, he made a mistake by saying we depend so much on export of raw materials, uhn? WTF! Now it is clear that most of those who call themselves Obidents are obediently foolish.

Nigeria mainly exports unfinished goods (raw materials) and imports most of the finished products it consumes. What he is telling you is that such trend is a disease that must be cured. We should be able to manufacture most of what we consume locally and even have surplus to export. In this, he is talking about industrialization which will create more jobs and grow our economy. We will be greater than China if only we learn to produce majority of what we consume instead of exporting our raw materials and then buy them back as finished products.

Indeed. When you then advise them to try and improve themselves they begin to throw insults and tantrums.

Imagine the near illiterate idiocy of presenting a neat bus from Lagos, probably 50 years ago or older, as "BRT" when we all know Ghana and many African countries have appreciably come to understudy the current BRT model Tinubu and Fashola delivered?

Nigeria has gone backwards, in my opinion, per literacy, unity and goodwill for our fellow Nigerians.

Now we are simply a largely ignorant, bitter and angry people primed to undermine, sabotage and frustrate ourselves because of ethnic, religious and sectional differences.

That is what led this OP to create this thread today that is simply the most unintelligent attempt at anti-Tinubu mischief likely driven by bigotry.

I truly believe Nigeria is hopeless and that the SW must attempt to save herself. When a nation consist of many who can no longer give credit where due, because of primordial ethnic, religious and sectional bigotry, it is time we go our separate way at least administratively.

It is the reason Yoruba leaders are agitating for what is shown below.
Honestly, I couldn't agree with you more

Obafemi Awolowo once said that any society that is deprived of book will suffer from intellectual malnutrition, stagnation and atrophy.

Our decaying education system reflects on the behaviour of our youths today
candidtalk:
Just admit you're ignorant, bigoted, simple-minded and lacking in knowledge. What next will you people do? Present pictures of Lagos in 1806, with a population of 1 million, to malign Tinubu?

As an exposed citizen of the world, I personally understand that the main problem of Nigeria is the lack of ability of her youths to think critically, intelligently, innovatively, effectively and without ethnic, religious or sectional bias.

Elsewhere in the world, youths may conclude that making every State progressive and productive, in a populous nation, is the way to achieve national development.

In Nigeria, bigoted and ignorant youths like this OP sit around all day looking to find ways to discredit the smallest State in the nation productively hosting her biggest population, 23 million people, because they have more devotion to their ethnicity rather than to what/who is best for societal development.

This is why I am a big fan of regional governance today. Igbo man says Obi is best ba? Let him be your regional Premier.

Northerners too should adopt Atiku. He can rule the North from Dubai.

Yorubas will be happy with Tinubu who delivers world-acclaimed and spectacular solutions rather than rhetoric or excuses as other do.
TravelRe: People Boarding A Bus In Lagos In The 1980s (Throwback Photo) by DesignMaestro(m):
This op is daft angry so, any long bus is BRT abi? Bunch of ignorants!

BRT is a system, an organised system. Not just about long buses. Tinubu created LAMATA which is the body responsible for the establishment and the operations of BRT's and the coming train services. Furthermore, he transformed the state's internal revenue generation which is the reason for the state's status as the wealthiest state in Nigeria today.

His three successors that you credit for their great achievements today were all under his payroll and you hypocrites would have held him responsible if they had failed.

For you fools mocking Tinubu, he remains the builder of new Lagos. You can go and kill yourselves.

That's why the eko Atlantic city Tinubu created turned out to be a failed project. 15 years after,, the city is still empty. With the falling naira, no one is willing to invest a hundred million dollars to build a skyscraper in the city.
What many of you don't understand is that there are lots of developments in both ikoyi and Victoria Island within that same fifteen years. Bourdillon tower, in Ikoyi is one of the tallest residential towers in Africa. Construction of the tower started in 2015 (just when Eko pearl was nearing completion in Eko Atlantic city) and it was completed in 2020. There are many more, such as Cuddle by Cadwell, Tango Towers, The Belmonte, The Vantage Bourdillon, No 39 Bourdilllion, etc.

Though I agree with your point but the problem isn't really lack of investment but choice of the investors between Eko Atlantic and the other prime locations.
