Politics / Re: Answer This Question If You Understand English Language by DesignMaestro(m): 8:19am On Apr 15, 2023
Omowale2023:
I have a question for you to answer.

Question 1;
You need credits in 4 subjects and English language.
What does it mean?

Question 2;
There are 36 mangoes and 1 Apple in a bowl, I told you to give me 24 Mangoes and 1 Apple from the same bowl.
What does that mean?

The lawyers using this as example are either daft or just mischievous. In your own case, I believe that's how you understand it. However, the section in question does not mention 36 states. It simply states that '25% in 2/3 of the STATES AND THE FCT. This is different from your analogy of credit in 4 subjects and English Language. In your example, four subjects are mentioned before English language (a subject too) and that makes the total of 5 subjects. In the case of the constitution, it states ...IN 2/3 OF THE STATES AND THE FCT.

Abuja is a territory which is not among the Nigerian states. It is a territory under the federal government. If you want to be sincere with yourself, you know Nigeria has 36 states and the FCT (which has to be mentioned because it is part of Nigeria territory together with the states). Anywhere Nigeria's states are mentioned FCT will also be added using the conjunction AND. If you mention 36 states of Nigeria without mentioning AND FCT, Abuja, it means you are omitting it from Nigerian territory.

In a nutshell, '25% in 2/3 of the states and the FCT' simply means 25% in 2/3 of the Nigeria's whole territory (36 states and the FCT'). If your own interpretation would be what is meant in the constitution, then the phrase would have definitely be put in this way....25% in 2/3 of the states AND IN the FCT.

AND IN THE FCT would have shown clearly that the contestant needs 25% in 2/3 of the states and 25% in the FCT.

In conclusion, ...THE STATES AND THE FCT as it is put in the constitution simply refers to entirety of Nigeria (all the states and the remaining territory called FCT). This is different from '4 subjects and English Language'. English language is also a subject and that means you need credit in five subjects which must include English Language.

Obidients be deceiving yourselves with that impersonator bullsh.t.

Nothing like impersonation or mistaken identity. Obi was quizzed for offences that are yet to be declared. You guys should stop being mumu. If the 'impersonation' story wasn't cooked up to save face, why lying that the UK govt had apologized?

Obidients and LP spokespersons always contradict each other. Bunch of liars!

Facts are gradually coming out. I'm 💯 sure this is not about impersonation as they claimed. He didn't want the matter to get to the public because of the mumus he was deceiving but a foolish ally of his brought out the matter for main purpose of playing the victim game as usual. He has inadvertently brought shame to the mandate bandit.

God will continue to expose Obi and his fellow hypocrites.

Below is what to expect if Tinubu eventually becomes president.

Dollar to naira exchange rate will get to the range of $1= #1500 to #2000

Fulani terrorist, bokoharam , ISIS etc will take over more villages and kill more without being arrested. They have resumed killing already in Benue and some part of Nigeria the moment Tinubu was declared INEC president

There won't be state police. Remember that all southern governors voted for the establishment of state police, but forget about state police

There will be more stealing and corruption, wrecking the already damaged economy

There will be scarcity of food because of the terrorist destructions effects. Prices of food will increase

Our refineries will not be fixed. we will still be importing fuel instead of producing in the country and crashing down the price. Prices of goods will increase to a very high level.

I am saving this post here so you can come back to it if eventually Peter Obi didn't come in as the president.
You still dey campaign wen we don already have an incoming presido?

Nawa o. This tin don dey turn to mental issue small small o

below is what to expect if Peter Obi is eventually pronounced as the right president.

Dollar will rise a little to #800 for $1 but will gradually drops down to $500. CBN rate will float around $250-$350. This means prices of goods will drop, especially prices of imported goods.

All our refineries will begin to function at utmost capacity and more refineries would be built.. Nigeria would be refining crude oil and importation of petrol would stop. This will bring down the price of fuel to #40 -#50 per litre. This means that prices of goods and services will drop

There will be establishment of state police. Remember that all southern governors and some north central governors voted for state police. This would reduce kidnappings and killings in each state.

Nigeria farmers would produce more and even export more. Prices of food stuff would drop gradually.

Stealing and corruption would drop to it's lowest minimum as there will be immediate punishment to corrupt person's.

Electricity supply will become stable and Nigerians would begin to enjoy light like Ghana and other good countries

Minimum wage would be increased to atleast #60k if not #100k

People in IDP camps will begin to go back to their homes. there will be few or no IDP camps because peace will return.

There will be massive infrastructural development and building of manufacturing industries, leading to more employment opportunities for Nigerians.

Poverty ranking of Nigeria would drop drastically.

I am saving this here so that when Obi and Datti eventually retrieve the stolen mandate and become the driver and conductor of the bus carrying Nigerians, you will remember this.
Wake up! Election is over, why campaigning?

Exactly my thought when I first read the story. He only confided with an individual and the person decided to bring it to public knowledge in order to draw sympathy.

The impersonation story doesn't add up at all. There is something Obi and his insiders are trying to conceal from the incident.

It can only be neutral when it is not among the respondents. You can't sue someone to court and still ask him to act neutral.

INEC should be a witness when they were part of the criminality?

If it was just APC that did the rigging, you would have made sense.

Obi did not shoot himself on the foot.

And they should be answering the query to show that they followed the process, not what they are asking for.
Good and fine. Since he is accusing INEC of rigging the election for Tinubu, he should prove it beyond reasonable doubt. The objection by INEC is mainly based on the fact that his claims in the petition are too vague. Didn't you read their objection? Why are you pained? Don't they have the right to object to his claims?

INEC has just shown their bias.

INEC does not represent APC but it is a Nigerian paratastal.

Why is it then making submissions to favour APC? Ideally tey should be neutral and allow the proceeding go ahead with its natural flow. Those that connived are afraid.
You people's matter dey tire person wallahi.

INEC is among the defendants in the petition. Do you expect a defendant to testify against itself in court?

Just yesterday in another thread I mentioned that Obi shot himself in the leg by including INEC in the petition.

It would have been better if INEC was a mere witness. That would have made them neutral.

If INEC really said that then you should know that INEC is partisan and selfish.
Now, who is deranged between you and Tinubu? A young person like you couldn't comprehend simple term but you can say an elderly man is deranged.

INEC is the first defendant in Obi's petition and it has to defend itself. All the four defendants, INEC, APC, Tinubu and Shettima will all present their defences. These are just preliminary objections, faulting the merit of the petition.

Politics / Raising Case Of Forfeiture Is Abuse Of Court Process - APC Tells Tribunal by DesignMaestro(m): 2:10pm On Apr 11, 2023
Below is the part of the preliminary objection filed by APC to the tribunal concerning the issue of Tinubu's alleged conviction and forfeiture raised in LP's petition:

On the issue of alleged conviction and forfeiture involving the President-elect, the APC said, “facts pleaded in paragraphs 28-32 of the petition alleging conviction of the 2nd respondent in 19993 is not pleadable as fact to support grounds of disqualification of the 2nd respondent.

It added that “the issue of forfeiture raised against the 2 Respondent in their petition are already pending before the Federal High Court in suit number FHC/ ABJ/CS/206/2023 between PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY V CODE of CONDUCT TRIBUNAL & 6 ORS and raising same before this court is an abuse of court process.

One question...

Explain to me how an Accountant on an annual salary of $2k had $460k to forfeit to US government after only working for 4 years?

Over to you
When did the forfeiture happened and when did Tinubu resign from Mobil?

The forfeiture happened in October 1993 when Bola Tinubu has already succeeded as a distinguished senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and after a decade of enviable strides in the corporate sector working for some of the biggest companies in the world.

Tinubu is your next president. You can keep on with the campaign of columny as you guys were doing before election. He will flug you at both the PEPT and the SC just as he did in the election
