You can't dey go London everytime and you no dey go America if you be big guy or lady. London financial crimes penalties are lower than in America. London over look some crimes but not America. What about his attendance of Democrat's convention which generated much noise and unsettled the then ruling party, PDP in 2012? https://dailypost.ng/2012/09/09/controversy-trails-tinubus-invitation-obama-partys-convention/?amp=1

PDP and deception. The last time he went there it was in company of Saraki (who was senate president) and co. It was only their airport picture they shared online. This time again, the same set of company. Which point are they trying to make? Couldn't Atiku travel to USA alone, as he does to Dubai?
It is obvious he is relying on diplomatic waiver to enter US. But, what's the point? How will traveling to the states help his election? This just shows that these PDP guys are bunch of clowns.
The mumus asking Tinubu to enter USA. What will stop him if he needs to? He studied in USA, he was there on exile during Abacha's regime, and he was also there in 2012 during Democrats national convention. Moreover, he had been paid a courtesy visit by the US ambassador and other envoys from USA this year.
He travels to UK without being accompanied by any political office holder.

stigman: Mr op where exactly is the boarding point, because I know too well that in 2030 this rail never start work, you guys are just showing CMS side what of orile side Oga orile station, national theatre, Alaba and Mile 2 stations were all completed by Fashola with the rails laid. It is only this Marina axis that caused the delay. The bridge crossing the lagoon from Iganmu to Lagos Island was abandoned in the middle of the Lagos Lagoon and Ambode had no interest in carrying on with the project. Sanwo-Olu was in the committee that set up the Lagos rail lines in early 2000's. He came in and revived the project. Now he has completed the bridge and the marina station (which is the last for blue line) is nearing completion. He even started the red line from stratch and it will be completed next year.

Kindly explain how it (your life) has been "great, very great".
How has nigeria fared in the last 7years? I'm not campaigning for Buhari, I'm campaigning for TINUBU. Why asking silly question? As Tinubu ruled you before? How is Nigeria under Buhari going to be the same as Nigeria under Tinubu? Was Obasanjo's government the same as Yar'Adua's? |

Politics › APC To Kickstart Presidential Campaign In Ilorin by DesignMaestro(op): 9:24am On Oct 15, 2022 |
Barring last minute change, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will kick-start its nationwide presidential campaign in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, The Nation has authoritatively gathered.
The presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is also set to make a public presentation of his manifesto next week.
Critical organs of the party on Wednesday in Abuja met with Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kassim Shetimma to agree on various issues about the campaign.
Addressing newsmen after the tripartite meeting of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), the Governors of the party and the PCC with the presidential candidate, the spokesman for the council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) said that the meeting agreed on the region to commence the campaign.
Aside from the kick-off date left for President Muhammadu Buhari to determine, Keyamo told journalists after the meeting that lasted for over three hours that the venue for the flag off of the campaign has been agreed upon.
According to the Minister of State, Labour and Productivity, “You know that the structure of our campaign involves a Presidential diary. I have said that our campaign is not going to be like those that they can kick and start like small vehicles. Ours is like manoeuv
A member of the party’s NWC, who was at the meeting however told The Nation in confidence that the choice of Ilorin, Kwara State capital was agreed on for the commencement of the five-month long presidential campaign.
“Just as the council spokesman, Festus Keyamo told the Press on Wednesday, we have agreed on the venue for our campaign kick off. The meeting agreed and approved Ilorin, the Kwara State capital as proposed by the Campaign Council,” the source said.
The source added: “You will recall that our presidential candidate has unveiled his manifesto to the critical stakeholders of the party. The document is ready, but in line with the party’s tradition, the party leadership and Asiwaju will only make the manifesto public after it must have been presented to President Buhari. Asiwaju will make a public presentation of the document before we commence campaign.”
On the final list of the council membership, our source disclosed that the comprehensive list would be make public next week.
According to the source: “The PCC is working round the clock to get all organs of the party involved in the campaign. The final membership list of the council is billed to be released next week. The list is being fine-tuned to take care of all interests. We are coming out with a formidable council.
“You recalled that all organs of the party agreed to work together for Asiwaju and all our candidates at the election. What we are doing now is to get all organs to align with the campaign programmes as we hit the ground for the campaign.” Source: https://thenationonlineng.net/apc-may-start-presidential-campaign-in-ilorin/amp/

PotatoSalad: This white elephant project. How does it benefit the average lagosian? I heard lands there are sold in USD How many people fit buy? OMO You're being miopic. It has been benefitting thousands of Nigerians already. It is not only about affording to live there. Booker T once said to African Americans: "An opportunity to earn a dollar is better than opportunity to spend it in an opera house" Right from the dredging stage to the laying of pipes and cables, to construction of roads and bridges as well as other infrastructure, to erection of the towers that are standing tall today, thousands of Nigerians have gained both direct and indirect employments from Eko Atlantic City alone. That is one great way of building the economy. What you referred to as a white elephant project is actually a multimillion dollar private investment which is targeted at the future. A lot of foreigners and well to do Nigerians are residents of Eko Atlantic City already. Visit the pearls towers to see for yourself. |
