Poor woman. I’m sure it’s her money she used to cook the soup.

Body go tell you laslas. Na that time you go know say man and woman no get equal physical strength

There was a reason God Almighty established some laws.
God made laws that protects the woman. Don't give that up at the detriment of yourself.
don't blame them. A lot of women have never enjoyed the full support of a man. Gone are the days! Some of these women paid their own dowry and fund their own wedding. Pay the rent and other bills... all the man does is give her a Mrs title. They only come online to keep a straight face. They cry inside. They are only keeping up appearances.

Bunch of hypocritical Nigerians that would allow sentiments rub off practical actions.
You all mentioning Ify and saying she went overboard with investigation are the reason we are having a returning atiku in this country. Y'all are a bunch of mess.

On this same nairaland ifyalways has helped tracked down countless scammers and saved a lot of people their hard earned money. Yeye people everywhere

Family / Re: Please, My Good People I Need Sewing Machine by Desloaaa: 4:34pm On Sep 26, 2018
tttmar:

My sister, I think you are taking this too far. I sent the message to the person who wanted to help me to see it not you.
You are not the person that helped me with the sewing machine, Why are you so pained?
I don't think your kind can help people.
I have helped people in the past when I was okay financially, I just found myself in this condition and I have three children to feed daily and other expenses to meet up with.
Presently some people are owing me but mere looking at their condition, I couldn't pressurise them if you have experienced this you will know what I am talking about.
I sent the request to the lady if she can help me with the plan I have in mind I am not forcing her.
Learn to be soft with people, you don't know the condition you might find yourself in futures.
Nigerians love to be overly spoon fed. You went from 0 - 100 all rude just because someone advised you on how you can find your feet one step at a time.
Why do I feel the sewing machine is only a strategy, what you needed is the 20k,nobody gave you a sewing machine. You know you would draw sympathy when you ask for sewing machine

Divorce is not even an option because the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know. You just have to make your marriage work. I hate to hear about cheating causing dissolution in marriages or relationships.

By the way your wife could be flirting and not cheating completely... Are you still doing those things you were doing during courtship? 9 years is a long time and trust me you must have begin to adopt the mama and papa style. When was the last time you both went for a dinner, movies, walk, vacation...?
Do you even still remember to call your wife sweet names?? Some foot massage after a hectic day?... Raunchy whatsapp message whilst at work?, breakfast in bed.... Little gift, lingeries, etc..

How's is your sex life? Do you communicate your fantasies and cravings? , when was she last time she got an orgasmic gift and said "THANK YOU"! Hunku you're married so no limits, no boundaries... Set everything on fire!

Maybe your marriage needs a rejuvenation, we sef dey get bored sometimes..

Reignite 'em romantic spark and set the atmosphere on fire. Instead of snooping, change your mode of dressing, stay trim and fit, wear a clean hair cut and smear some cologne mix n match.

If all this doesn't work, pray and watch WAR ROOM
, please watch this movie and your marriage would be back to how it was.
Oga make this a sticker.

Madam, your boyfriend is married over there, your instinct is right, if not, you wouldn't have been seeing their pictures together! Don't be deceived by sweet words!

Before further action, make sure you ask him questions and do further investigation.

Romance / Could My Boyfriend Be Married? by Desloaaa: 1:13pm On Aug 15, 2018
Good day nairalanders, I just need to be convinced more that I'm either walking a danger lane or not.
My boyfriend has a child which I'm aware about and he claims never to have been married to the baby mama. He visits the child every week and even pay her rent but it doesn't bother me but lately I had this feeling to probe further. I searched and found pictures of him, the lady and the son together at different events and occasions. I searched more and found the said lady goes by the name MRS lagbaja (my boyfriends name).
From the look of things, he lives a bachelor life here and lives a family life there.

I've not confronted him as I need to be sure I'm not just being paranoid.
I am a very independent woman and this scares me because I don't want to build anything with someone else's 'property'.. Please I need matured input, thank you

Family / Re: What age did you build your first house? by Desloaaa: 7:23pm On Jul 15, 2018
yettymuse:
Yes, very very very gradual, I started off with a 3bd foundation and went off.

At my lowest ebb in life's sojourn, I went on to build a 2room, roofed and moved in with my family... I saved a lot and my mum did a lot of labor job... We needed to save a lot of cash.
It was looking all rough but we needed shelter.

I moved on to building the bricks for the 3rd room, kitchen and toilets... Prayers answered, I roofed.
Then came the remaining big sitting room and dinning room...
I don't even know how it happened, but I fixed the bricks and just took a chill pill... I cannot come and kill myself...

God never leaves his own people, he saw my wahala, goal and strive, he made a way, and I roofed the last batch.
Few months later, we tiled, plastered, fix windows and burglary, toilet and the likes.

In all, my mom did a lot of labor work.. I was determined! I saved like my life depended on this project. I need a decent home for my family cos we have suffered shelter a lot growing up. In all, if you put your mind to it, you'll make it happen. Start small, weigh you pockets and responsibility, be determined.
Wow! You're an inspiration o I swear. Following your diary like bumper to bumper. You got a new fan here girl!

Education plus vocational skills to me is a perfect combo. If your cerficate fails you in the labour market, your Tools will not
..An Educated tailor will Open a fashion school, with wonder clothing lines. An Educated carpenter would makes lovely upholsteries and even own a show room.
Its best to be educated and still possess a vocational skill IMO
