@powermike9999 I'd be careful and seek further clarification b4 signing up for this passport intervention exercise o. We've been told of instances of serious delay in issuing the passport for some peeps who used the service sometime in the past. If I rmbr correctly, one nl papa had to wait like almost 2 months to get his lo's passport. so please be properly guided.
yea, I agree with you.
that's why you have to use the number on their website..ask plenty questions oooooo...to avoid story that touch.

i dont kw if this is true but just saw this on daily trust...may God help us. amen.
Emirates, one of the biggest foreign airlines operating
in Nigeria, has said it is stopping flight operations to
the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja
effective October 22nd 2016.
Similarly, East African carrier Kenya Airways, has
announced that it will suspend flights to Abuja with
effect from November 15, 2016 as part of its
restructuring and loss saving efforts.
Our correspondent gathered from industry sources that
Emirates has formally written the Minister of State,
Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika over its intention to stop
flight operations into Abuja following the airline's
inability to buy forex and remit its sales.
The letter, our correspondent gathered, was received
by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation
on behalf of the Minister.
An industry source familiar with the matter told our
correspondent that the letter indicated 22nd October
2016 as the date Emirates would suspend the Abuja
flight operations if respite did not come their way.
The source said if after weeks of the Abuja
suspension, no drastic change happened, Emirates
would also suspend Lagos operations indefinitely. When
that occurs, Emirates would have exited the Nigerian
market.
"Emirates has huge money in naira at the banks. It
cannot repatriate its sales because it cannot buy
dollars. This is having negative effect on their
operations," the source said.
On its part, the Kenya Airline indicated that the
suspension of its Abuja flights was triggered by the
dwindling traffic from Abuja to Nairobi, the airline's
operational hub.
Kenya Airways CEO Mbuvi Ngunze disclosed this plan
in a statement obtained by Daily Trust in Lagos which
indicated that the airline would however continue to
operate its daily flight from Lagos to Nairobi.
Daily Trust learnt that the suspension of the flight was
triggered by the dwindling traffic from Abuja to Nairobi,

Last I heard of Parkland, they said they do not accept international patients. That they are a govt hospital and for the locals in the area. Also, the place be like Naija govt hospital. No privacy rooms, serious bureaucracy and general poor services.
thanks.

@desoul I called Parkland a while ago and they told me they only attend to Dallas county residents so didn't give me any costs over the phone. It's something like a general hospital so it's a huge place and they're always busy. The best approach with them might actually have to be letting your wife go there to make inquiries, they'll definitely give her the cost then as her address will show she's resident in the county. Please share your findings here when you get them.
ooh..ok thank you..definitely

Dude I'm half Nigerian half Ghanaian
Naija on my dad side but been living in Ghana all my life.born and bred here and frankly culturally I'm more Ghanaian.Dad is dead though and I don't have a connections with my external naija family

Question
Do I qualify for a Nigerian passport
How do I get one ?
What do I require ?
can you prove that your dad is from Nigeria, that you have a Nigerian origin..secondly don't you have uncles that can ascertain your identity as Nigeria and help you get a state of origin certificate which is one of the basic requirements to get fresh Nigeria passport.

Court affidavit is not needed, police report will do.

No i'm 'my dad said i'm from samba frost type of igbo' cool

Anambra is predominantly catholic so i'm not surprised at that.
..I guess that's the answer cos..my place nothing like naming thing..you either wait for Baptism or child dedication which is done after three Months of child birth

That is not needed, police report is all you need to get the passport reissued
it is needed my dear cos the process is done in abuja after which the approval will be sent to the embassy authorizing them to reissue you a new passport..if in any case they did not ask.it is maybe they are sending the list in bulk to abuja for processing which means that they will comply the names with a letter headed paper of that embassy and address it the comptroller General seeking approval for reissue of the following lost passport.or in any case of intervention project..the immigration officials will have to just take your picture and finger prints..they compile the names of the people seeking for re issue of stolen passport.

Greetings to you all.
Am from Nigeria living in Germany a have German girlfriend who is pregnant, and they said I can sign the papas that am the father of the child even before birth,
Which is #Vaterschaft.
My questions is that how can I get my birth certificate in Nigeria and how much it cost?
Am about going to Berlin to get my passport and am sure they also need my birth certificate too but I will also like know what did they really needs in Nigeria embassy at Berlin Germany, the procedure and cost as well.

Please I need your advice.

Tnks.
are you getting the passport as a first timer..if yes how did get to Germany in the first place. cos that's the only option why they should ask for your birth certificate to process your passport

What is the need for court affidavit?
it's a kind of legal oath swearing that shows you are the owner of the lost passport.
TravelRe: Let's Talk About Nigerian Passport by desoul(op): 1:05pm On Jun 18, 2016
for damaged just go to the nearest Nigeria mission and show them the damaged passport..
TravelRe: Let's Talk About Nigerian Passport by desoul(op): 1:04pm On Jun 18, 2016
if you 're living abroad and your passport gets stolen/missing/damaged.follow the following steps..
for stolen..go to the nearest police station report the issue.get a police extract. proceed to court for affidavit with your passport number quoted on it. after then walk straight to the nearest Nigeria mission and tell them about the issue. they will ask you to write an application and collect the documents from you.you will be snapped for the new one after online payment..the new passport will be ready after approval from the head.

I have seen many threads and different issues about Nigerian passport..now let's talk about it here.
1. Nigeria immigration service sends men of the service to carry out intervention project in some countries where Nigeria don't have embassy and in some cases where they have, to help solve problems Nigeria's living abroad have concerning their passport..
2. so even if you are living abroad and have issue with your passport, let's talk about it here.
ask me anything about Nigerian passport and I will answer you.
TravelRe: How To Get Travel Into Nigeria Without A Nigerian Passport by desoul: 11:36am On Jun 18, 2016
op..No immigration official has the right to deny a Nigerian citizen entrance to his country,..it is a very serious offence, just book your flight, at the POE here in naija show them your green kpali..the immigration officer will stamp you in (SOA) but will have to remind you to renew it immediately if you have any need of travelling back...stop worrying your self
