Lol does your life revolve around oil pathetic back peddling. You started off saying that this was just a ploy to hypnotize minorities into voting for him. You asked if he's investing in oil and natural resources the answer was yes and you're still whining. What do you want kid?
Did you open threads asking Buhari the bold part when he chose to use scarce fund to prospect for oil in the north ?
If you are half as smart as you try potraying you won't post 95% of what you post on this forum.

Lol its not my fault you didn't think your arguments through or read through article. Anyway they already going to invest more since the refused to concession (or sell) the refineries. The government can invest and create jobs on resources we have read up some of things in mining sector see if that floats your boat.
If what you post here is beyond your brain, there is a romance section.
We have oil already, that's quality raw material that can add value being sold to fund a projects that's beyond the FG's control. What's the wisdom in it? To me it is a propaganda article void of realistic, medium term prospect.
Don't know why people don't use their brain.
We have oil in good quantity and quality already, instead of getting maximum value out of it by refining, utilizing its byproducts etc the govt choose to use scarce fund to gamble on discovery of more oil up north at first and now it is Lake Chad project all of a sudden. Anything to make the heart of the average northerner pump faster out of expectation seem the order.

This project deserves more attention than it's been given so far it supposed to be on the front burner because of its immense benefits when completed.
The lives of millions of Sahelians depends on the waters from the lake and something urgent is not done we should be getting prepared for further displacement of human beings and reduction in economic activities.
FriendNG, Omenka, Fulaman198, fulanmafia,
Immense benefits to who ? After they get the water and farm, they sell the fruits and keep its proceed but are quick to deny the south their own natural resources proceed. You think forcefully taking natural resource from paul to give peter artificial resource is cool when we have no functional refineries to maximize what's being sold ?

The comparison between private refinery and public infrastructure project odd.
Govt owns refineries and Buhari seem passionate about reviving them, why can't the govt invest and creates million of job from a raw material we already have in good quantity ?
I sense your usual I-too-know attitude.

Ovamboland:
The 7 bn budget is not cash at hand and we may never earn that amount from oil and taxes alone. If we are that rich why do you think cutting the budget of 30Bn for completing Lagos -Ibadan expressway to 10Bn in the 2017 budget is the signal for contractors to vacate the site.

Should 'common' 20Bn matter in a budget of 7 trillion? Yes it does a great deal as there are millions of other competing demands, the Sukuk bond to speed up completion of that road might mean the difference between saving the souls that will still perish the rest of this year on that road.

Let our Mega rich churches beat and christianize the railways or medical hospitals by packaging a 200Bn Bond to finance these infrastructure and lest see the government reject it. I can bet the muslim leaders will not even notice or raise any hell over the church package.
Must you talk stùpíd ? Let church package what? How much has you useless cùlt packaged so far. N100b that 5 northern governor can loot in 3 month is what one loose dúdè thinks he can challenge the church with.

To me it could be an attempt at brainwashing the neutral minority northerners into supporting Buhari in 2019. The reasons given were carefully woven around the success of Buhari 2019 re-election bid.
Will the dam be more beneficial to us than if the govt invest in refineries the size of Dangote's (650,000 bpd) ?
I will never trust the northerners they are too sheepish and docile. Take into account the proximity of the volatile northeast to this project.

Mega mumu. If 97% on one side is added to (100-5)% it gives 192%. You are more of a illiterate than Buhari. Re-read your comment if you know next to nothing about English.
Politics › Re: Is Buhari’s 97% And 5% Arithmetically Correct? by Desyner: 1:05pm On Oct 07, 2017
LionDeLeo:
Arithmetically, very correct.

97% of the total votes from a zone were in his favour while 5% of the total votes in another zone were against him.

So, mathematically, the statement is very much in order.

Not about the total votes he got, is more about the percentage of the total votes casted in his favour at zonal level.
Your own even makes it more absurd. It totals 192% ( 97% vs 95% )
how can you compare those for Buhari on one side to those against him on the other side?

I'm just imagining how all these network providers will dramatically bring down data price when TStv actualize it's goal of 20GB for N3000.

I listened to the CEO's speech, and I must say the guy has a good heart. He plans to offer the cheapest data plan in the whole of Africa to not just individuals, but also small and medium enterprises. And 4.5G for that matter.
It is one thing to market and another to deliver.

The northerners are bonafide parasites.
What happened to their food basket with which they 'feed' the whole nation? It is obvious why they will never support restructuring. It also explains why they tend to suspect any vaccine as birth control pill because their population is their best tool to remain relevant.
