Do you want to have a conversation or you just want to chestbeat like the others? This is the major reason I really do not engage many of the igbos in this forum. Let us have a decent conversation and lets raise decent topic rather than post pictures which has not helped the manufacturers but exposing these guys to tribalistic people who might start boycotting their products because they are igbos. You should try as much as possible to hide the identity of these people because we are majorly unloved and we need to still operate unnoticed until we create an economic haven for them to thrive without hate. |
toofit007:God did not create robots and people think and process things differently. If a man doesnt think like you is because his thought process is different. He is an igbo man from ebonyi state and he is more pro-igbo than you can ever be judging from his numerous works. Throwing hate speeches here and there might get you to a certain level but it will not sustain your goal. diplomacy and manoeuver can bring you to success faster. Nnamdi kanu is right but the hate speeches coming from his camp is too much, these guys you love to hate will still be your neighbours when you leave. I don't know how you plan to skip them when you want to do business. |
These guys want to begin the next season like they did this season. Everything now is about hope and when freya and hayley cannot withstand the threat coming for them because of hope, they will need to look for the mikaelsons to help out and the whole thing about relocating the hollow to another eternal thing will pop out. I really love the fact that for the past two seasons, these guys have been having bad ends and they now know that winnings could be difficult and it entails alot of sacrifice. This is a good story for family and it teaches alot about sacrifice. This is the ultimate sacrifice they have had to make in recent times and I think it worth it. |
The state government should not make aba another dumping ground for stupid investors. There are some sectors he should allow the indigenes man themselves and not spoil their businesses for them. |
Nutase:And you know more than the igbos? We really have very smart alberts in Nigeria |
for once I pitied oga klaus. I think we do not know the real capacity of hope because from what I am seeing, it is hope herself that will free herself from the hollow. All options to bring down the hollow has resulted to null and from what I am seeing, these guys will have to pledge allegiance to the ancestors to heighten the power of the witches. |
ezeagu:I am igbo and what was written there is very mythical to say the least. I dont really know these people think. They think 40 million igbos are morons? |
Omoluabi16:The truth is many people do not sit down and reason things before saying them. Creating a fairytale country where things are done 100% right is not practical. Biafra, if achieved will be a country and not heaven. Things will have to be done like humans and not like angels. My people sef de tire me. |
kingzizzy:There are two referendum he cited there. He said one is to remove those ethnic nationality first from the country, while the other is to conduct internal referendum within ourselves. You see, if the first works, then I do not think he should bring up the second because the UN is not ready to be doling out funds for another eritrea or south sudan in the making. You understand. |
kingzizzy:If you really understand what was written and still believe it then I doubt that you can decipher lies from pack of words. Let me tell you what do not know, UN is not ready to listen to anybody if they eventually divide this country. If igala or idoma say they do not want to be part of biafra after exiting this country, where do you want to put them? in space? Sometimes, the reason why we have fake pastors is that we do not try to reason their points before praising them. This is the same reason why biafra will fail. He needs to employ real political scientists and economists to pursue the biafran dream because from what is been spewed here, then i think we can kiss the hope goodbye. |
From this statement made by the ipob about conducting another referendum after the UN referendum. Nnamdi Kanu thinks the world is a fairytale story book where you do whatever you like with scarce resources. Listening to all that was written, it shows that he knows little about world politics and he is so enshrined in his traditional form of leadership. If the idoma and igala people say they do not want to join biafra after the internal referendum, then UN will just create igala country. If you are educated and you still believe this kind talk, guy, I have money, I will pay for restart of your education. If biafra will be achieved, then the people managing it will need to be changed as soon as possible because they are more mythical about their pursuit. They should as a matter of urgency employ the hands of capable political scientists and economic experts to teach them what they need to know because what they wrote up there is total bunkum. |
This MC Oluomo will still kill this other guy. He still has this vindictive look that makes him suspicious. Just look at the miscreants tinubu empowered in lagos state. These guys take lives without remorse and no one can do anything about it. |
Jaideyone:You know if igbos have other options they would not be doing business there. This is the point she is trying to raise. |
Amarabae:Amara, you just echoed my mind. no one is holding other people from importing via the port. I dont know where the vacuum he is waiting for. what he doesnt know that igbos know how to do this business way ahead of them, trying to do this business will see them losing billions of naira before getting it right. |
Jaideyone:You are the ignoramus, who is obstructing the next person from doing business there? the sea is very big for everyone so why are you guys waiting for a vacuum from the igbos. These guys just come online and spew trash. |
EzeUche:You are very correct my brother, we are traders and hands men, we need access to the sea and that is a fact that must not be whittled down. If you cut off the igbos from the sea, they will surely have difficulties adapting. Please let them not use other countries as case study but use what we know as the biological makeup of the igbos. If we can get one access to the sea, then there will not be a single problem for us. |
The total assets of igbos around the country can be put to 200 trillion naira as at 2016. This is quite a huge sum to leave for others to take advantage of. Our brothers must not come empty handed back to the east because it will skyrocket the vices in the region. I urge all of you to pedal down alittle so that we can set up Asset Recovery Fund (ARF). For us to fully relocate our assets to the east with ease, the igbos have to make deals with banks and other industries in other regions so that they can sell of landed properties, houses and hotels to them. They will need to sell to banks who will in turn sell to customers and rent it out to people. More so, the igbo men can even sell to an igbo real- estate company who will in turn give it out to a leasing company that will manage the buildings for him until we recover totally the amount that has been spent in those areas. This might take more time than the way we are pushing for referendum. This is the best way to go about making those men from the north not run mad because they have been so attached to their properties, leaving them behind is tantamount to giving them heart attack and of course, many will die. We call for supreme convention whereby all igbos should come home this december and lets discuss constructively how we can relocate their assets and families back to the region. The first set that will return are the children. We pay more than 50billion yearly outside the region on education alone. If we channel that amount in the east, many school owners will provide better education in the region. We need to build many boarding houses so that they can stay there until their parents finally relocates to the region. We have to think very hard about the pace of our decisions so as to meet the economic reality of Biafra because whether we like it or not, Biafra will be a country and not heaven, so our actions or inactions will determine the success of the country, therein. |
bornaking:I wish it disintegrates because from my sojourn to many parts of this country, I found out that we do not think alike and the mindset of development is different for the different ethnic groups. The north design their development the way the middle east designs their development while the southerners designs theirs differently. If we have different outlook to life, we will always have problems because to the northerners, corruption is the major problem while to the easterners, enabling environment is ours. So if we do not get the enabling environment to showcase our capabilities, then we will continue to be stunted. |
Ikenna0b:Many of them will read the news this morning when they get to their business locations and they will have serious discussions with each other. I want to try as much as possible to get to them and speak with them so that they will start looking for alternatives and start mortgaging their property to real estate men. |
Ikenna0b:See, I was only posted here last year, I do not stay in the north. I came and I started relating with the people here based on the fact that they are my people and it will be highly impossible not to communicate with them. When I toured this place and I saw the things they have mounted over time, nwanna, you will be asking them serious questions why they decided to behave like this. They could have spent those monies well by investing them in the east. I will try my best to attend meeting this sunday and speak my mind on this issue because it is really bothering me. |
[quote author=bornaking post=57272012]It would continue to he like that. May God continue to put confusion in the heart of those that do not want this country to remain one. [/quote The country is based on false unity my brother. If you do not have any family members in the north or probably any southerner in the north, you will not love to stay in the north because you do not know how to relate with them. My colleagues were posted to zamfara where they met mostly northerners and very few southerners, they wrote to the management that they should be transferred back to the south because they were scared and could not cope. You do not have anything in common with these people and when you are in their midst alone, you are scared of been termed arini. |
TPAND:Guy! Your brother in the north will not say anything bad to the igbos, why? They have come to realise that they are not your problem. They have seen in clear terms who the real enemies are. I was having a conversation with one yesterday, the guy said that the igbos are the ones delaying the disintegration of the country because whenever they want to join up there in the north, they ask themselves how will they leave their houses and businesses and go back, that the igbo man is not serious. He said the igbos should be serious because many of them want to leave too, they can easily leave the north because they do not have anything in the north there. You know the problem of you southerners staying in the south? The problem is ignorance, you guys know little of what is happening about can easily hate on their neighbours, that is the igbos without any verifiable fact. If we ask you people what has the igbo man done to you in the last 50 years, you start recounting war time experiences where we were the worst hit. Just enjoy yourself, they are coming. |
Many southerners think that I am advocating for them to join biafra because i want my people to get their oil from them, far from it. I am only saying this because I live in the north and i work with these people alot. Many people from the south south do not stay here and the few that stays here might just be doing one menial job or the other i.e the ogoja and efik people. They do not know what is happening. The way these people are serving them there, their kids have already had it in mind that they are nothing because they are so much doing this line of job. Even if you will not join the biafran country, use this as an opportunity to fight for your own people and have your own country. You might be overrun when the time comes because the man up there has a point. the north gives nigeria the added advantage based on UN territorial mapping, or else, cameroun would have taken that oil well in many of the southern states. |
ikennaf1:I just weak, the igbos have delved into different businesses over time and when you see them, you will always know that they are successful. They have not gotten much from the oil through allocation but their people are still making money. the way these people were taught that igbos will deal with them ehn, I just dont know how they got to believe these trash hook line and sinker. |
TPAND:I agree that igbos want your oil, atleast people of 5 eastern states are looking for your oil right, what do you think about 26 states looking for your oil? No matter how bad igbos will be, they will definitely be better than this. |
You know the problem of the niger deltans is that, they do not travel northward. Because they only see the igbos on daily basis, they feel they are the ones doing the bad things, being the greedy ones and all sort because these northerners employ southerners in their companies to cover face. These men have gone far in claiming the assets of the south and they just stay in the north without making noise. I asked them before, what do you think you will lose that you have not lost, they have not given me any meaningful answer. The only highlight fears of igbo domination and subjugation. A union that you will be opportuned to tell the world what you want or the union that your share has already be given to you by your bigger partner? If itshekiris, ijaw, urhobo and other southern units can travel up north and stay with their elites for a year, then you will understand what i am saying. If by God's grace, igbos are given biafra, I will know how your voice will be loud in this country. Removing 5 states plus igboid groups, the south will just remain 12 states against 19. You might get a raise in allocation but they will get so much from you and hide the information so that you will think it was better letting igbos go. |
Amberon11:Gosh, if this is all you have to say, then I can say you being unfair to yourself and your people. The way you fight the igbos with so much enthusiasm, you have refused to say anything in this regard? |
pazienza:You and I know that these people were not taken serious until now and since this one is serious, you will not blame them for trying to create an enabling environment for their businesses. That is just the truth, it is now time for us to develop a plan on how to make them sell some of their immovable fixed asset and let them come back home. The chinese and lebanese will be the best bet when it comes to selling these things. |
Ikenna0b:This is not what you should be saying about your siblings, you need to put everyone into consideration. The way the people in kano will leave their properties that is the same way the yorubas will want to bank on it and try to cause mayhem in their own areas too. We need to have a recovery plan because the total asset of igbos in this country is too much to be ignored to be frank with you. Even if it is to sell the real- estate assets to many real estate companies, then it is a good idea but abandoning that huge amount of money is you telling them to just die. |
Ikenna0b:The number of igbos in kano alone is up to a million and you cannot zero them out of your plan. its like forgetting a whole state. |
pazienza:It is surely a pity that we made the agitation in the public eye too fast and it has made everyone aware of our plans. if not, these people coult have sold all their properties within a year and leave. but if they come out and sell them, they will be buying them for crumbs price and that will affect them badly. Moreover, the price of landed properties in the east is not cheap as it is in the north. Since they found out it is cheap, they delved into it. Some have hectares of land that they have planned for major investment purpose in the north here. Biafra should have been discussed in village meetings earlier and make them to be more aware of their environments. |
pazienza:You will not blame them totally because the eastern governors were not ready to bring them home since the 90s when they started buying these lands from the northerners. Brother, if you are here, then you will see the amount of money they have buried in this land of which would have changed the destiny of the igbo tribe in the next 100years. Igbos have spent so much outside it shores than inside the shores. If they had used the east as their launching pad, it would have been better. The total asset of igbos in this country is close to 200 trillion naira. The way they spread these investments in this country, the east would have been choked with commercial activities and forcing the natives to settle in neighbouring southern states because it will be a big market and industrial cluster. |
