Funlordmaniac: So on point number 1 you agree that they lack unity amongst themselves? So whose fault is that anyway? Or you want to also blame that on afonjeezys, muslims or tiv people?
Then on point number 2! Who forces your igbo cousins to spend billions in lagos? Why are they averse to spending the same billions in anambara, enugu, Imo or ebonyi? Or is there a federal law that deprives them of investing in their own region the same way they do in others? Why can't you people ever pick one lane and stick to it! An average igbo man is a business minded person who sees profitable venture and ventures into it. He doesn't care about the location, he just spends his money there. The Nigerian system has made some places economically viable e.g lagos and made many other places economically redundant and what they should be known for is just agriculture and other menial job opportunities. If the system doesnt give all states equal opportunities to develop, then the business minded people will not as a matter patriotism run at loss because they want to keep their businesses in their villages. So, you do not blame the average igbo man if he spends his money where he can get returns. Nigeria has not been advantageous for the igbo growth and it is until things are done about it, then we will still be facing these crazy things. |

We igbos are not going to get anything from Nigeria except we take it. These men have no longing to come to the east and do anything tangible because they did not map igboland as part of their economic plan.
These leaders should understand that this is the time to take the disadvantage of this country and make it their own advantage. They should stop complaining and make real decisions that will affect the lives of an average igboman. All the so called political leaders are shifting weight, this is to show you all that these men care less about the region but just their immediate families.

kabrud: Are u also aware that one of the largest power generating stations is located in the north? I hope u know the power stations in the north are fully sufficient for the north alone? Or are u telling me that kainji, shiroro, mambila and jebba hydroelectric power stations can't provide 24hr supply to the north even at low output? Boy, the north is not holding u back for anything. Stop blaming the north for ur problems. The north has its peculiar problems affecting it but stop all these rubbish about the north holding u back bla bla bla. U make noise about how the north is poor due to this and that, then brag about how u are rich in the south because of ur education bla bla bla, only for u to turn again and say the north is still holding u back, how do u reconcile this very illogical self contradictory claims? Left for u lots, the northerners should not even occupy any position in this country so that u have more reasons to talk more about poverty in the north. Up till now, the north has not filled its positions in the civil service and even some of its slots are still filled by these southerners who claim north thereby occupying northern slots and it still remains on records that way. Imagine, Chinedu, "from Kebbi State" or Akpan "from Kaduna State", how? This is as funny as Tanko "from Imo state". Very funny but that is how it looks. About 95% of fed govt agencies in the south are occupied by the southerners but the same southerners compete favourably with northerners in northern based fed govt agencies. Some of these media propaganda are gradually opening our eyes to many things we are being deprived in this country and by God grace, proper enquiries will be conducted to set some of these things right, just a matter of time. Meanwhile, stop blaming the north for ur problems. I do not argue but when I see posts like the ones you have been posting, I feel the need to correct your assertions. The north ruled the country for almost 38years and they took all the dams to the north and neglected the coal and flared the gas in the south. If you are a good student of engineering, you will understand that these days hydro-power is becoming an 'alternative source of power' in dry regions because of low water level experienced by those regions. If the government have invested 30years ago in gas and coal power generation, then our power situation will have reduced by 3-quarter. Now, they are still building more dams in the north when there is a rising trend of desertification in that region. Not smart bro. Someone asked that what is the consequences of bokoharam on the south. I think it is not for you to just come online and ask questions before evaluating your questions. In syria today, some parts are peaceful and not really attacked by isis basically due to the high military security of that region. If you as an investor is asked to invest in syria, what will you think about the offer? You will vehemently refuse because the country has been on the headlines for terror attacks and you will not dare to go visit talk-less of investing. That is the same effect bokoharam has on our investors' attracting capacity. Or have you not seen major companies leaving Kano? Moreso, about the bokoharam, your representatives from the north have asked all Nigerians to pay 3% VAT to bokoharam affected areas when it is glaring that it is your own people that destroyed your lands and not an igbo man from nnewi. Why should i pay additional vat when you did not pay additional vat for destroying my land? The north provides food that the south buys, but the southern lands are been desecrated everyday to share money to the northern leaders. You cannot build a company in the north without having a northerner in the company. A northerner heads the warri, portharcourt and kaduna refineries while the people in the state have been sending applications without any good news. You guys do not affect the south indeed. I do not blame the northerners though, they have the power and they are using it well. I blame the southerners who do not understand the rudiments of leadership and have spent their whole lives impoverishing their brothers to have fake relevance in the country. i go on but i believe there is no need to say more. |

obembet: STEPS TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY IN TWO DAYS FROM;
Since the resumption of MMM Nigeria on the 13th of January 2017, it has had glitches when matching participants to get paid. Speaking as a true believer in the system, you should know that those glitches are caused by ongoing upgrade which was not concluded during the freeze period but MMM just had to keep to their resumption promise. Below is an exclusive step by step guide on how to get your money out of MMM Nigeria within 2days. It is not a guarantee but a solution, because most joined MMM for the money and not the ideology of the community.
1. Keep Donating in MMM Nigeria The truth is that if we stop to donate in MMM Nigeria, we don’t get donations; so erase the selfish mindset that you won’t donate again once you get your money out.
2 Do Not Panic If we panic we are the ones to lose and not the admin or the founders of MMM Nigeria, so if you must get your money back, you have to take away panic from your personal dictionary and also encourage everyone around you not to. To lose hope now is to lose the money in full.
3. Do Not Discourage People from Joining The bitter truth is that some guiders are in this category, you claim to be a guider of an ideology that gave you financial freedom for months but loose faith in a minor trying period. Am ashamed to call you guys my colleagues. If we discourage others from joining we suffer the consequences because nobody will be matched to pay us and you just see your mavro in Numbers and not in real cash… I am sure you don’t want that.
4. Admins in MMM Nigeria is not with your Money The admins of MMM Nigeria or any peer to peer donation site or the founder is not with your money so you can’t hold them. Your money is in the pocket of participants like you who have donated before you.
5. Keep Sharing Positive Testimonies If u call it 419 or SCAM,you will loose your money because those who are supposed to pay you need your testimony to be motivated to join and actively participate.
6. Pay up your PH If you refuse to pay to someone don’t expect to receive because nobody will pay you. Because MMM Nigeria operates on the principles of crowd Funding.
7. Register only Ready Participants If the site gets chocked with people who are not serious because of referral bonus you will be the one to lose and not the admin or founder.
8. Be positive about MMM Nigeria Let’s mind what we say or post about MMM Nigeria or the way we portray the community outside is what will determine if more people will join or run
9. Don't Quit MMM Nigeria Now Okay this is the real thing, If everyone leaves MMM Nigeria to other communities out there, it is just a matter of time for them to also face this because as they expand they will have similar issues as this. So keep the love for MMM Nigeria real in your heart with you constant donation. As humans I know we are in need and that’s why we are agitated; a little patience, a positive mindset and our good words will help us overcome this period and get our money back.
10. Share This The probability of you getting your money back depends fully on how many people have access to the basic truth guiding the MMM community. The media who know nothing about MMM Nigeria are constantly spreading hate. Remember their money isn’t on MMM, it is your money that is there so sharing this piece of information goes along way and quickens the rate at which you get your money back. Share this to keep MMM Nigeria alive and afloat. create a thread on this. |

omonnakoda: His recognition was not material . Whether he recognized or not he did not have a say, authority or power. It is like asking whether the goat recognizes Aboki as its owner
That is something that is only in Ojukwu's head.We can only go by his word and pronouncements I,e the first time that he pronounced publicly that he did not recognize Gowon.By that time Awolowo had long been released What is more important is whether the Prison officers recognized Gowon and whether they obeyed him The answer is yes both times Very wrong comparism, Mr. You have failed again. Now, lets go further, can you explain in clear terms the mode of governance in regions. Can you list things that will happen in a region in 1966 that will not need the approval of the regional governor? Can you also list personnel or workers not under the approval of the regional governors. with proof please. |
Politics › Re: Did Ojukwu Release Awolowo From Prison by Develpeast: 2:12pm On Dec 29, 2016 |
omonnakoda: That is not relevant. Was Ojukwu the comptroller of prisons? Was he the Head of the Army in Enugu ?
No he was not. Between July 29 And August 1 when Gowon made his announcements and there were killings in Ibadan ,,Abeokuta and so on.Who was in charge of the Military in Enugu and what did they do The commander of the Enugu based 1st battalion, Lt-Col David Ogunewe. On learning of the mass murder taking place in other military formations in the country, Lt-Col Ogunewe locked his battalion’s armoury and placed it under the joint guard of northern and southern officers. He also encouraged northern and southern soldiers to live together in the mess and grounds of the battalion
Ojukwu was not at that time in control of Enugu .To pretend he had any say over prisons in Calabar is a perverse joke. Shehu Musa Yar'adua was adjutant in Enugu and his role allegedly was to kill Ojukwu. Eventually Ojukwu negotiated repatriation of Northern Soldiers but he was most likely in hiding by the time Awolowo was released More conjectures to make it look like you were right. To be frank, you just played around the question. Did ojukwu recognise gowon as the head of state at the time of release? |
Politics › Re: Did Ojukwu Release Awolowo From Prison by Develpeast: 1:25pm On Dec 29, 2016 |
omonnakoda: How was it Ojukwu's territory? Awo was released within 2 days of Gowon coming to office. Before you can talk of Ojukwu accepting or rejecting Gowon's authority first we must be clear when did Ojukwu first speak with Gowon after August 1. What we know to be facts are these 1. Gowon Took over 1 August 2. He signed Awo's release 2 August 3. Awo was released 3 August
So we are being told that somewhere between 2 and 3 August Ojukwu being set in his head that he did not accept Gowon's authority stlll released Awo and sent him off to Lagos to Gowon
That is FANTASY
Military Governors were not Brigade commanders or anything like that they were not even in the Barracks.
Ojukwu was in Government House Enugu. At the time of the Coup ,July 27 he was not in operational command of the soldiers in Enugu not to talk of Calabar before we start talking of the prison. Nigeria was relatively backward then. No express roads ,the Airforce base in PH was the main airport.
This idea that Ojukwu as Governor of the East or the other Military governors were Military commanders of the regions is PURE FANTASY. The military chain of command did not work that way. That is like suggesting Brigade Commanders or GOCs took orders from governors. Since you are throwing out conjectures here and there, let us follow logical lines and see where we will head to with this argument. Do you accept the fact that Ojukwu did not recognise gowon as head of state? |

BabaRamota1980: obeisance carries with it a weight of heirarchy, respect does not.
What are you trying to say? Like I said earlier, you spend much time on the grammar than the fact. Ojukwu did not recognize Gowon as head of state then he couldn't have facilitated his release from prison. We should not change what happened just because it favours our ego. |

news authored by okonkwo. Uncredible just for the name alone.
Awo is what politicians call a collateral or an asset.
If indeed Ojukwu released Awo and did not negotiate nor secure any bargain for exchange of that highly valuable Nigerian asset at a time of open conflict, then it would mean he is even far more incompetent and worse than Aguiyi Ironsi in mental deficiencies than earlier thought. He is what is called "apoda" in Yoruba. Apoda is worse than dullard. Seriously, I Dont argue with people who concentrate more on their English than the fact there.
