the funniest part is that tboss might just win this thing based on the votes I am seeing on the screen. That girl seems to have fans. Try as much as possible to make your contestant win and not just shout based on logistics because most of you are not voting.

I will personally recruit members of the ISIS to kill every Nigerian police on sight! The Nigerian government should disband this criminals/animals in uniform. I doubt because the government is useless and clueless!! Even the house of assembly and the senate is full of scammers and fraudsters!!

They just killed someone's mum in cold blood!! This could be anybody's mother!! If we don't take care of this problem, it will get to everyone someday!! The Nigerian police should be disbanded period!! Nigeria has become the new Somalia!
This is very sad. The way i love my mum and the way i fear these men in black. I just dunno if i should hide her in one faraway country where she wont be exposed to things like this on a daily basis. I am always scared because the ease at which these people unleash terror on innocent people is alarming. God help me.

Freya isnt doing too much to protect the family. She is the eldest person in the family and as you can see, she doesnt fight most times but she try to find solutions spiritually to the family problems and that is exactly what she is doing. if keelin is left to go out of their reach, they are definitely going to kill her. that will be a big blow to the michaelsons. what i love most about her deal with the lady is finding how to weaken marcel in the movie. she is looking for solution while others are looking for something else. she is the only one committed now to keep the family alive while others are trying to live their personal lives.

exactly she has serious issues, she's highly erratic
I understood wat she had to do with davina but holding dat wolf lady is sheer wickedness, I hope she doesn't completely lose herself all in the name of helping her family
If you think she is wicked then you do not know what is necessary to do to keep the family line going. hope is a young and if anything happens to klaus, she will be left fatherless and the fear factor of the family gone.

i think she is the only dedicated member of the michaelson family now because others just want to live their lives not knowing that they are stronger together than apart.

fratermathy:
We should naturally be wary of people/groups who add us to maps without our official consent and approval, especially when nothing of such has been discussed. Moreso for those of us in Delta South/Central who were NEVER in the original short-lived Biafran Republic.

Make no mistake when I tell you that the average minority man does not segregate between majority groups. We treat Igbos with the same discontent as we treat Hausas and Yorubas. In our eyes, you guys are all the causes of the problems in the nation. After all, it was your leaders that fabricated this lie of a country, forced us into it and turned it to turmoils. How many people from the minority groups have had a chance at leadership? How many of the minorities have attempted their rights at self-determination? How many have actually gained what they really want? What has the Igbo (who claims to be a friend) done for any minority group before?

In fact, speaking for Urhobos now, it was the Hausas that supported us against the Itsekiri (Yoruba backed) when the Warri Land saga was at its peak. Where was Igbo then? Even now, the Hausas and Yorubas are open to our problems far more than Igbos, who are more obsessed with adding us in Biafra. Have the IPOBians ever tried to woo the minorities? Have they talked to them? This thing goes beyond using trucks to load South Easterners to minority territories to protest. It is an existential affair! IPOB has done NOTHING for the minorities to warrant her trust.

You asked the minorities what they stand to lose. The answer is nothing. What do they stand to gain in Biafra? The answer is NOTHING! Biafran proponents act as if the so-called Biafrans aren't the Igbos of today in power or those in the civil service or those in the police/military or those in businesses that we all can see. NOTHING will change. Biafra will favour the Igbos, no doubts. But for the minorities, it is nothing more than a smaller version of Nigeria where the Igbos hold sway and no other group can EVER command the numerical majority that they would have.

At the end, our destiny lies in our hands and our hands alone. No one can speak for us. No one can ask us to undertake a referendum but ourselves. If Itsekiris are asking for a referendum as Ikechu10 said in the other thread, then they have a right to that and should do that but as I am informed, it is not for BIAFRA but for another ideology entirely. If Urhobos come up with a referendum today, it won't be for BIAFRA but for an Urhobo Country! If alliances are formed between the minorities, it would be solely on our terms.

Biafra should be wholly Igboid and should remain so. The majority-minority gap is too wide between Igbo and any non-Igboid group in the South-South for a mutually beneficial alliance to be formed.

Blues20 has spoken the truth and I commend him for it.

Fremancipation and others should take note of these salient points and change their orientation.
The funniest part is that, your major ally in the senate have always been the easterners. when there were squabbles between the urhobo and itshekiri, where were the igbos politically in this country? They were nothing, they were just recuperating from the civil war and they couldn't even save themselves talkless of saving other people. You said the hausas helped you guys, why did the capital of delta state not in ughelli?

Apart from 1966, when was the last time the igbos have the opportunity to make decisions in this country that will affect your lives, there was never a time brother. The igbos are not your problem and they have always been in the survival game since 1970. Are you trying to tell me that you are not better than the igbos in terms of allocation and every other attention from the federal government? Name of motion you guys pushed that you did not see the igbo senators say 'aye' to. Stop telling yourselves things that will hurt you because igbos have not in any way try to bring you down.

PoliticsRe: IPOB And The Need To Reform Her Strategy: by Develpeast: 9:45pm On Mar 31, 2017
I don't know why this topic is very important and why we are giving people the power to talk to us in a way that is not supposed to be heard. This is a case of an adult playing a kid's play. Have you seen the hausas or the yorubas engage them in any form of argument? Why will you all always respond to them and make them feel they are the most important people in this country?

Seriously, with or without the minorities we can be whoever or whatever we want to be.

The question for the minorities, what is there to lose that you have not lost before if you join biafra?

And which people are those that will support your independent development?
Anyone can work towards the independent development of the east. Even the so-called northerners can be of great help to our plan. If you give them the presidential slot thats supposed to go for the igbos in 2023, for us to service our economic development plan for the next 20 years uninterrupted, they will buy the idea. An igbo president will always be a stooge of the north and for whatever reason we might think it will favour us, it will not favour us one bit because they will scuttle every move we make to do anything in the east. They will even see our economic plan as the president sponsoring the plan.

We need bulk of our population in the east, because apart from the killings we experience in the north and economic sabotage in the west. Many of our people are dying due to constant travel from one region to the other. We can keep our people safe in the east and any way we can get it done should be adopted by everyone.

The plan is huge and very deep and its not what we can just say in the surface. We will need enough power to see it come into fruition.

Igbos have always been moving with the winning team since tome immemorial, so, what are you saying? Esp since 99
Even in this regime, we have senators and ministers attached to the party. Which other alignment do you want?
We did not have a plan and if we did, the plan was to allow the yorubas rule, then the hausas rule, it will later be our turn to rule the country. We have later found out that, ruling this country doesnt have any economic importance to the development of the region.
Now, we want to go into alliance with people that will support our independent development as a people. We are making alliances with a mission and when we achieve our aim, they will beg us to rule this country because we will end up suck all their economic opportunities and everyone will see the southeast as the golden egg to be kept safe and do whatever it takes to keep us.

If we keep waiting for abuja people to tell us when to develop our region, then we are not better than the minorities in our country. Even the minorities are having a field day with many developments coming their way and many not getting close to ours. Its better we study the abuja cabals very well and align with the winning team and just get the right policies to help us develop the region.

Then you are not serious, my brother. Because if u are, you would know that the only way real development is achieved anywhere is by government-led policies and interventions. And in Nigeria nay south east, you can only get to government to influence these decisions on the platform of a political party, which in turn, influences your actions and inactions. So u are just an online noise-maker. Goodluck with ur 'Igbo-come-back-home' noisemaking.
I believe that Barth Nnaji, Paschal dozie et al created a political party before trying to create southeast development commission. The main problem with you all is that you want some set of people do your job while you come online to either judge them or praise them. The effect of our lackadaisical actions and let other people do it mentality is the bane of the problem we are facing in the east.
PoliticsRe: Southeast: The Time Is Now! by Develpeast(op): 7:58am On Feb 18, 2017
I know the problem in this country. The government is too rich while the people are poor. If we make the government release some parts of its money, the people will be alittle bit richer than they were. You see states like akwa ibom, bayelsa, ogun, calabar, etc. Their yearly budget is over the top, they have very huge budget but it is not translated towards changing the standard of living of the average citizen in the state. This is to show you that the government is not transferring its riches to the populace but so much money is spent to develop the state.

This is the same thing our government in the east are trying to enrich the government and they are returning the riches to the general populace and this is going to backfire when the time comes. It will snowball in due time and we will be facing regional recession and it will be bigger than what we have been seeing in the country.

I belong to no political party but i belong to the group people developing a model that will see the end to the under-development of the region.
I belong to the group of people who wants the east transform from a "village" to a mega city.
i belong to the group of people who know that the development strides of our present government in the east are all cosmetic and not really the major blow we are pushing for.
i belong to the group of people who believe that the east can key into disadvantages in the country and make it their own advantage.
i belong to the group of people who believe that the constant death of our people on road due to their roaming around just to find a stable place to generate income can be eradicated totally by creating an economic home for them.
i belong to the group of people who believe that allocation from the federal government will continue to underdevelop us and put a strain on our spending capacity.
i belong to the group of people who do not see japan and other non-natural resources country who are doing well as smarter or more intelligent than the average igbo man.
i belong to the group who wants to push you all to cause an economic revolution in the east.
i belong to the group who is not impressed with the show of beautiful private homes and calling it development, we have that everywhere.
i belong to the group who wants every young igbo mind to create a buzz and tackle our problem once and for all and stop waiting for the people in government house. If they do not know how to do it, we can teach them for free and let save our future from being second class citizens in different states or places we find ourselves.

Igbo must feel Nigerian, must forget about the maginalisation fiction that hold them down, and must forget about taken revenge of the past on Nigerian, and must know that every Nigerian pay the price of unity, Igbo is not feel belonging to Nigeria uptill now. If you didn't trust the nation who will trust you?
Igbo go to lagos or else where for money and they were invested there for money!
If not we are about 300 ethnic groups in Nigeria, if Igbo invest in other land why others didn't invest in Igbo land? who will invest where there is no peace? until cheif Nnia Nwodo manage to call on Igbo to accept the accord they signed with Nigeria nation as a one country that all nigerian will trust you.
Bitter truth.
You are not saying the truth. Which peace are you looking for in igboland that you cannot find. they have filled every nigerian minds with the fact that igbo land is filled with ritualists and kidnappers. before the advent of cheap internet, the only news you get from igboland in station in lagos is either cultural dance activities in the region or how they caught some dare-devil ritualists or the political instability in the region. They killed the light of the region until recently when igbos start bringing up their own pages on facebook and later websites to showcase to people that beautiful things are actually happening in the region. it was only recently someone said he never knew enugu was beautiful. even my colleague once went to enugu and screamed that the place is lovely and calm.

have you forgotten that before on nta, it is either southwest or northern news that dominated the airwaves?

in the 90's, how many people knew about akwa ibom or bayelsa? if not for internet, these places were in the dark but they were giving nigeria so much money but investors are not going there. apart from oil companies, there is no other economic activity happening in akwa ibom.

I will keep telling people, this country is structured to favour a certain people while the other people are meant to serve.

it will change soon.

Stop blaming nigeria, blame your leaders! If you know the damage some leaders have done in other parts of this country you would know that igbo land is still better! We are all paying the price of bad leadership....from igbos to yorubas to hausas to tivs e.t.c....Nigeria has not really been advantageous to most of us but only to a few elitist beasts!
My leaders have little or nothing to do about the economic distribution of this country because they have never been close to the vp since 1979 and the last time they lead the country was in 1966. So there has never been a time they held a decision making position in this country. You think they have not been bringing up these things to the fore? Why is onitsha river port so popular in the country if they have not raised the issue before? why is the marginalisation mantra so popular if they have not been raising the issue? I was amongst the people saying the politicians are not saying anything about the region before i found out that since they dont have the majority voice in the house, people either not vote for it or they vote against it.

A leader with allocation of 1.2billion monthly with thousands of people to pay salary will not have the capacity to grow the economy like a man who gets 20billion naira monthly. after paying salaries, how much is left for capital projects and other things? Just seeing that alone will weaken you, that is why igboland is filled with so many untarred roads and fake road constructions. It is not that the state lack the capacity to use first class minds, but the monetary constraint is bringing them down.
