The Labour Party (LP) and its candidate, Mr Peter Obi, have formally filed a petition at the Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the February 25, 2023, presidential electionThe petition marked: CA/PEPC/03/2023, has the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC); Tinubu; his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, and the APC as the 1st to 4th respondents. The petitioners are praying for the tribunal to declare that Tinubu was not duly elected by a majority of the lawful votes cast at the election. They want an order mandating INEC to retrieve the certificate of return issued to the APC candidate and issue a fresh one to Obi. The petitioners specifically alleged that at the time of the election, Tinubu was not qualified to contest. They also argued that the election was invalid by reason of corrupt practices and non-compliance with the provision of the Electoral Act 2022. Obi prayed the tribunal to make an order cancelling the election and compelling INEC to conduct a fresh election in which Tinubu, Shettima, and the APC will not participate. Similarly, the Action Alliance and the Allied Peoples Movement have equally lodged separate petitions to challenge the outcome of the presidential election. While the petition by Action Alliance and its presidential candidate, Solomon Okanigbuan, was marked: CA/PEPC/01/2023, that of the Allied Peoples’ Movement, was marked: CA/PEPC/04/2023. The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, is expected to file his own petition before midnight when the deadline will elapse. akingangan: Peter Obi lost the election.
The toxic behaviour of the Obidient movement which manipulated and brainwashed many young people who thought this was Big Brother is what gave him that much votes in the first place.
But now they are overwhelmed when given the same taste of their medicine.
You think you won the election but only won one governorship out of 36 states Lolz This one is still thinking its about LP 🤣🤣 It was all about Obi. From delta to edo to rivers to Nasarawa to plateau to cross river to Lagos People both in APC and PDP voted Obi just to see if he will be different. It was never about winning states |

Zico5: These obidients must be learning a great lesson of their lives now. A party that cannot maintain national spread want to take back a mandate that's not theirs. Even PDP that's maintain momentum currently is not even fighting again cos they know it's effort in futility. I thought they said North Central is their own but I have not even seen labour party in the limelight. They have all remain silent. God is so good. This was not about LP It was about Obi Dont be foolishly unfortunate. Even when Obi said Enugu should vote the LP candidate, Aisha Yusuf challenged him. We need credible people to take over Nigeria politics regardless of party line |

Vado2: In reality, these guys are only using the Igbos as a front. It was a war against non-Yorubas yesterday, and as usual, the Ibos are the fall-guy everything. Kate Henshaw was the victim of the assault; did the thugs not realize that she is not Ibo? The goal is to control other southern clans. They will choose a different tribe once they are finished with the Ibos. Or did you not notice the type of hatred a SS leader, Goodluck Jonathan received from them when he was President?
And guess what? All the so-called scholars are silent even though Buhari's administration is significantly worse than Goodluck Jonathan's. The animosity became so intense that Patience Jonathan was referred to as a hippopotamus by a reputable Yoruba scholar.
This is a war against the southern clans, not the Ibos. Hmm |

Ebonyi is finished
Una want force labour on other people but don't want it in ebonyi
What of apga now, the LP pro max Nobody contested under LP in labour party. Umahi did well so there no need wanting to replace him. If Buhari had done well, nobody would have listen to any party, its as simple as dat. Seyi Makinde lost all the senatorial and house of Reps seat to APC because of Tinubu factor during the presidency, but governorship, he dusted the APC guy without any violence, rigging or voters intimidation. He won convincingly, his people voted him because he worked for them. So try get brain small |

Keeping fooling yourself, any non yorubas is regarded as Igbo. If Yorubas cannot didferentiate Igbos from SS, how will Hausa-Fulanis differentiate SS from Igbos if there's war? Leave the guy make he dey play Even some yorubas were beaten yesterday just because they looked like igbos according to the thugs. Even the yorubas that wanted to vote another party outside APC were beaten and told to return back home. That idiot is not from the SS because majority of us from SS are truly angry with what happened |

LegendHero: You Iyanmili are funny people.
Who tell you Lagos depends on Federal Allocation? With respect to federal allocation, what census does is that it help the FG to reallocate funds to the state. So if you leaving Lagos to your land means 20% drop in the allocation value, Lagos don't give a damn.
We are even happy for that. Just make sure after you pack your bag to the East for the census, make sure you just remain there and never come back. Tsefini. U see how foolish and stupid u are Do u know these people u are chasing contributes the highest percentage of the economy of Lagos? Comtinue It is just a matter of time |

Dear non-Yorubas in Lagos, it is time to reconsider ur status in Lagos, whether u were born here or migrated, It is time to trace your root. What happened in Lagos on 18th of march wasn't an election rigging tactics or anything politics, it was a complete call for war and anarchy. Election were rigged all over the country across party lines, but targeting a particular group and threatening them not to exercise their right in their own country and in a state where dey pay taxes is unacceptable.
You may think it was just an igbo vs Yoruba thing, NO, alot of us were targeted because according to them, we look like igbos(i wondered how Yorubas look). As a South South boy, i was dissappointed and i can never forget it. They may even decide to come for us from the SS tomorrow.
The 2023 census is around the corner, make sure u make arrangement to travel to your state to be counted, if u cant travel, make sure you are never added to Lagos population, let them count only the yorubas in Lagos.
The federal allocaton to states in Nigeria is depended on the state population, dont allow yourself to be a fool the second time, dont add to their population during census, only for them to remind you during election that you dont belong with them
Lessons were learnt and it will never be forgotten. |

Correction is called Delta ibo not Delta Igbo igbo of south east is complete different frm d other tribes In d South south region in terms of language, culture geopolitical zone..the real igbo knw themselves.
ikwere are not igbo igbanke are not igbo Anoma are not igbo Itsekiris are not igbo Agbor are not igbo urobo are not igbo ijaws are not igbo Edos are not igbo esan are not igbo others are not igbo
Beware of these land grabberd and ethnical/tribe kidnappers frm the red mud region Igbanke is actually igbo I remembered when one of their son wanted to contest Edo south senatorial district election in 2007 against Uzamaire a Benin son, they were actually called igbos and it originated from OBA palace. The man dropped out and he told igbankes to either join their brothers in delta or continue to remain slaves |
Politics › Re: For The Igbos In EDO (igbanke) DELTA (anioma, Ukwuani, Ika, Enu'ani) And Rivers by Devil1Messenger: 6:28am On Mar 20, 2023 |
And who told you igbanke people of Edo state are igbos? So cos someone bears an igbo or igbo-like name automatically means they're igbo? Sometimes I wonder the way the brain of an average igbo man or woman is wired.
Don't you think it could be as a result of the trade or contact they had with the igbos that make some of them bear igbo names? Ikwerres, Ukwuanis, Aniomas, Ogbas, Igbankes, Ekpeyes, Ahoadas and majority of some these people refer to as igbos are not igbos but trace their origin and ancestry from the Binis or they're a distinct ethnic group of their own.
The fact Spanish and Portuguese names have a lot of similarities does not make them the same. The fact Australian, British, English Canadians, New Zealanders or Americans have some similarities doesn't make them the same.
P.S learn to respect the distinction in other people's language and tribe. This is why 90% don't like your tribe. What's the essence of trying to annex these distinct ethnic groups? So you can lord over them? But the languages are similar |

Chibuzoc: Since the yorubas don't want non indigenes to partake in election process which are democratic in Lagos, non indigenes should boycott or travel to your state to be counted in the census exercise that will be coming up.
Population determines the allocation of resources allocated to states, Igbos in Lagos especially should travel back to their states to be counted and improve the allocations coming to your states, since you cannot vote or determine who governs you only those who are allowed to vote should be counted. I'm travelling back straight |
