The one for containers and tankers ought to be increased 4 fold, those guys really need to be safety conscious not just believe that they can bash any car or cause accidents without any penalty.

Good morning my good people of nairaland
I finally got a job.... see if you are a guest on nairaland pls just try and register cos nairaland forum is a blessing in disguise...., I have been a guest for years and I decided to register like some months back...... all the information I gathered here really helped me in my job hunt
Nairaland taught me to move from my comfort zone and meet new people.... well, I met new people and those people (girls) you would never know they have connections oo as in young girls between 25-30, working in global organizations, controlling big things and even responsible for themselves...
I am finally employed and the pay is nice and the resumption time is 11am....what can I say.... My parents and siblings go enjoy me die atleast before I start having other responsibilities to cater for... God bless you
oh! So it's you, congratulations anyway. Resumption time 11am? Lucky woman u are.

He even contested for the SUG President without any poster.
Hahahahahahha! I'm sure even his room mates didn't support his candidacy. what course did u study and what year? seems you were really in the know about ife politics back den.

I saw those guys as more of Opportunists than serious leaders.

Akinola Saburi was an unrecognized President of the SUG by the school authority. The following session, there was no election and SUG. All dem Divaino, John Pillar, Jacquez et al just grabbed the opportunity the following session without them having the real "unionism" experience.
hmmmm.... word! Especially that jacquez, always used to disgust me.

This list is not complete. You left out one telenovela my sisters would die for back in the days. Even Mariam my neighbor no dey let person rest back then.

MARIA DE LOS ANGELES... One of the reasons my Saturday is always interesting.

I love passion as well. And also second chance was nice. But it was the last telenovela I saw.
bless u for adding maria de los angeles. Enjoyed passions and secret of the sand i even have that wonderful theme song for it. Ever since I have stopped watching telenovellas feel they are dumb same as indian series.

IFEife was seen to be more of a cool and gentle boy(mummy's boy) that would not have the physical command to lead aluta. He was well loved by the girls in moremi hall cos he is a fine boy. And you know girls may never like a guy if the only acceptance he has among ladies is the handsomness. Coupled with the fact that he isn't an Awo guy(not an hostel guy also), he lost. I think he contested against Devaino, Smart, and Tolu?
yes he contested against devaino, true he was seen as a "boti" guy, at the end devaino messed up with allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement, I was surprised a mature student like John Pillar
Didn't contest against him,but at the end most of them including pillar didn't impress me.

Everybody just assumes that every girl there is immature and that's a lie
Most of my roommates there were older than me and have gone to various schools before coming down to oau,
Most guys that you tell you stay in moz thinks you don't have sense and very immature, immediately the respect they have for you diminishes.
Buh if you say you stay in moremi or maintenance, even if you are immature and ugly, they will think the girl is one konfam babe
I hated the stereotyped way they treated moz girls
During strike nko?? It's only moz girls they send out, moremi?? Mba
hey feyi, i said MOST and its very true because you have very young and mentally immature babes who don't yet have mature thought patterns and behavioural attitudes befitting of a community like OAU so it's most of them. On the issue of aluta sorry ooo, It comes with the terrain as they take u as easy prey (mostly freshers). For example my sister did a diploma, did predegree and was quite mature when she got admission but it's only a few that actually goes through such cycle.

A female once contested for the post, Agenda Mama.

If I can still vividly recollect, In 2008/2009 session, she contested against Prof(Alaje), Goddey ....
yes, think you correct, as for the topic, e go hard ooo even for faj/etf/ guy to win self dey hard because they always believe Awo is the natural breeding ground for SUG presidents. I remember this was one of the sentiments used against IFEife back then that he was a quarters boy.

Wow, guys always wanting to date moremi girls, and moz girls are considered small babes, I hate that
I visited moz in my early days too but most of the girls there reek of immaturity (no offense) and are too vain. Also I rarely visit female hostels except its necessary.
