@ladywriter you just nailed the whole damn thing, writing on the content mill doesn't pay anymore especially with the huge competition out there. You ask for as low as between 8-10 dollars for a quality article and you still have people dropping bids for lower prices especially the frigging Indians on freelancer.com, it's just so annoying.
Although I will advise any newcomer to start from there.
Let me quickly share one of my secrets I use on freelancer.com for free here just in case there's someone out there that can benefit.
It might sound dumb but just give it a try.
Try to work more at night say between 10 pm and 3am, I do this to target the American market based on time difference. Nigeria is 6 hours ahead of the US (most parts) and 6 hours behind India so I look for hours when Americans are active (peak time) and most indians are not. During this period any American client that contacts you will have little choice than to at least pay something substantial, also the annoyingly low bidders won't be there to spoil your market. Good luck.

Crossing from the department has always been ringing in my head even when in exams hall, exactly, like my elder sis, she doesn't want to accept the fact that I've lost interest, she keeps thinking it's all gonna be OK.

I feel I need fresh air, and some family and friends just don't want to understand that I lost interest.

thanks, I appreciate.
you are welcome, but please face reality, it's very unlikely that it will all be "okay" the matric no belongs to you not her. Make hay while the sun shines. Shalom

Thanks sir, what about pressure from family and friends?
I really want to set things right.
Bros come here let me word you, I never started enjoying "part " of my young life till I realised my life is mine though family and loved ones share a "part" of it.
My advice : cross from that department if you can find a course you love or that is relatively easier, this way you can start afresh get a good grade and chase a better and quality life while at it. I had a friend who did such and I felt sorry for her, I even felt she degraded herself by choosing to go back and pick a "general" course but guess what the next time I saw her was on TV, obviously she had made good grades and pushed herself to achieving her life goals.
Those parents, friends or family you are scared of facing now will blame you and worst of all won't be able to help you. It's a jungle out here after school, guys with good grades are struggling for lil jobs, only grace can help anyone with "not Good enough " grades.
PS: you have a gift, you are not here by mistake, you are better than you ever imagined, but please find that environment where your star can shine. Don't fish in the wrong pond.

Business › Re: Victor Okafor 'Ezego': The Story Of Nigeria’s King Of Money by Dexema(m): 4:34pm On Jul 23, 2016
he probably used the same builders or architects cos the building in the first pic bears a striking resemblance with his house in Ajao estate.
however ezego is remembered mostly for the fable surrounding his source of wealth, some said he was a ritualist others said he was into drugs, we were even warned not to go too close to his house.
it was also said that his body wasn't buried but rather dumped at the popular okija shrine because he had offended the dieties of the area.
lastly, I believe you got that picture of him which is the only one I have seen so far from one of Oliver de coques music videos where he sang his praise.
time passes, people die, only names and records make history. lalasticlala let's see what we can find out about this guy from other nairalanders.

onatisi:
Now u can see the problem. Look at the present crop of politicians ruling Nigeria and you will notice that they fall into one of the 2 groups. And until intelligent brilliant youth venture into politics Nigeria will never move forward.
Now the question is which Nigeria youth is ready to sacrifice his life for the betterment of the nation without carrying arms huh
even your fellow youths won't support you until you drop something, our case is pathetic.
Politics › Re: Bode George, Dokpesi For PDP Chairmanship Position by Dexema(m): 8:59am On Jul 23, 2016
onatisi:
That is the problem.
No intelligent youth is involve in Nigeria politics. The youths you see in Nigeria politics are either ruffians, thugs,ex convict, fraudsters or rich men children whose parents have the financial capacity to sponsor their political career .
who wan die?? grin

There is a very popular adage that encapsulated what actually happened here...

Were dun wo lo'ja, ko se bi lo'mo ...

don't worry, someone will help me interpret in case you are not a Yoruba.
Don't ever take people of the southwest's gathering and cheering as a form of being loyal or support to any course, sometimes it's a Celebration of someone's shame.
I guess I don't have to comment anymore.

yesterday pdp members are today's apc members. The incoming party will also be populated by these same bunch of people.
true but the difference will be the injection of youth, game changers and individuals who are models for positive impact in the society.

Another party is coming ,just wait and see
I know another party will likely spring up soon but they can't usurp power in 2019, they have to pay their dues first. apart from that I will like to see the characters such a party will present because whether or not we like it APC still has the most guys with a little trust and proven track record in the country currently.

DropShot:
The way PDP is playing their politics, KOWA might even come second in 2019 presidential election.

George is an ex-convict for crying out loud. Dokpesi has has an on-going case with EFCC for DasukiGate; same for Secondus.

Why can't the party depart from it's unholy past?
hahahahaahaah! I don laff taya! feedeethieves!!! just look at their candidates bad antecedents and reputation not to talk of the old senile grandpa amongst them. pdp is giving Nigeria no choice at all come 2019.
Business › Re: Six Dry Ports Being Built Across Nigeria To Be Linked To Rail Lines by Dexema(m): 8:16am On Jul 23, 2016
gamargu:
Yeah clap for yourself. The north is far better agriculturally you can tell yourself anything you want but the north cannot be compared with the south in terms of agriculture.
the people complaining about an inland port being built in the north have no idea what an inland port is. i swear to God there are too many jackasses in nairaland maybe its tribalism that is clouding their head or maybe they are naturally daft who knows
Bros stop wasting your time with nitwits, where are dry ports needed most if not up north. the south and east are accessible by water and not so far off, some people just have problems for every solution.
