that is why we dont need their fvcking presidency or senate presidency rubbish, we are cool and coasting on our own. Let them rule and suffer and turn back and blame the igbos for enjoying in naija

For the first time I'm saying this buh; “tell ur pple to Get the f**k out of lagos if they can't stomach their hatred for their hosts.
If ur too blind to realise the heterogenous nature of the Nigerian ethnic groups then u r destined for more hate induced campaigns against ur ilk.
I think its total disrespect against the history, culture, ancestors and indigenes of lagos for one dunce Leader from the east to come and say “lagos is no mans land“
I just pray guys really get what ur looking for with ur naturally bellicose attitude.
Important Socratic questions Chiamanda and her folks forgot to answer are;

Have Yorubas not bn good hosts in all forms of being good and being an host?

Is it too much for Yorubas to say that Lagos is a Yorubaland?

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.... Have the Igbo, all along and "all these while" bn innocent victims?

Are Igbos not just being mischievous since there are other tribes( whose lands are even closer to Lagos than the far East) in Lagos who have never cried like babies and whined like bigots?

Is there a way forward and who shld pave way for who?

Are other sojourners laying claims to the "no-man's land as passionately as the Igbos?

I think these and many more questions shld have bn answered by Ms. Adichie and her goons before she concoted her sentimental piece...if truly she did.

It won't be fair, if for the sakes of peace and unity of Nigeria, we continue to, for no sane reasons, undermine, insubordinate, take for granted and make to nothing the culture, tradition, ideology and good will of the numerous pples that make this great country
You are just too much, let adichie be forming international writer hiding under the umbrella of ethnic respect and equality while being biased and not asking the right questions first.

I think therz need for some level of self evaluation from igbos nationwide on their practices, attitudes, reactions and their level of diplomacy.
Charity they say begins at home.

veraponpo:
It takes two to tango.

Oba Akinolu may not be right on this but the attitude of our Igbo brothers and sisters could frustrate one.

Having helped them more than what their region has done for them, instead of being grateful; their actions seem to be undermining the essence of our existence through their incendiary statements. Calling their hosts cowards- what do you want after that-fight to show we are not cowards.

Oba Akinolu is their match and that is why the situation seems difficult now.

A gentle king could be disobeyed easily but did they say anything at the palace? No. They dare not.

It was after leaving the palace that chest beating, ultimatum , etc started surfacing.

Who then is the coward? Ta lo fe gbenan woju ekun lai f'eje we ( who wants to put light at the face of a tiger without being bathed with blood)

Remember, 'He who makes peaceful resolution difficult , has made violence inevitable.'
Bros ur mouthed joor! 2bottles of chilled lagoon water for u.

I have a relative that lives in the midst of Igbos in Lagos. That area is mostly populated by Igbos. In fact, he is the only Yoruba in his compound.

Beautiful houses everywhere but they are blessed with bad road network. The road is so bad and epileptic that even small car owners avoid that area.

I asked him why they've been neglected for so long and he told me that area voted for PDP instead of Fashola.

When the chips are down, the Igbos would be the ones to suffer the most. They need to be smart and not blinded by sentiments. APC or PDP, vote for your choice not the choice of your kinsmen.
Why do I have a feelin ur talkin about Ajao estate?
Politics › Re: Guber Poll: Oba Of Lagos Reads Riot Act To Igbo... The Sun by Dexema(m): 10:08am On Apr 06, 2015
Good question there! I guess he singled out igbos because of ur bellicose and sometimes ungrateful nature. I was coming from oshodi on friday and the igbo guy in front of me had the guts to say “lagos is no mans land,in the coming election we go know who plenty pass“ Imagine that!!
Ur political calculations are warped thinking you can use your protest votes to impose a candidate.
Igbos in lasgidi are only being used and incited, like say the jimi Agbaje sef no be yoruba guy.

Doortun:
Just sell it already, but don't sell it 100%. Ask for a royalty like certain percentage on all profits that is going to be generated from the song eventually. Get a lawyer first, 10-25% would be a fair cut.

You prolly don't have a name out there and it will take time for you get accepted in the market or breakeven.
Good points rAised,I also think he shud develop a workin relationship with this artiste so as to get into his circle of producers and marketers. But (in olamides voice) first of all sell that song.

Obiano joining APC won't have any effect whatsoever except if he dosent want a second term,he shud just stay in APGA as the “last Mohican“ and lay the party to rest awaiting a radical resurgence that may never come.
SE in helping PDP has killed Ojukwus APGA and nobody shud blame oga willy, peter Obi and Lady Bianca initiated the self destruct process.

After US stationed marines in Ghana, drone base in Niger, carrier patrolling d waters of West Africa and France(US ally) with troops in Cameroon, do u think GEJ would have ordered any funny line of action? GEJ simply knew too much, more than the scumbag Pdp scallywags would ever know.

Though gallant in defeat, his hand was forced to "accept" this reality. He deserves my respect for this.
Bros u too much, not everybody knows what's going on behind the scenes xcept for counting/collation of votes.
Pgej took the best option to avert a “gbagbo“ scene playing out. Much respect to him for preventing nationwide protests, violence and possibly killings.

The earlier you accept that PDP cannot fairly win this contest, the better for you.

APC only need to win SW by about 60%. In the NC, APC is clearing Niger, Kwara, Kogi with a possibility of Benue too. The only state PDP may win is Plateau in NC.

Whatever you bring from SS/SE can never match what GMB will record in NE/NW. Even if you get 25% across the board there, it will not save you because b4 you realize it, GMB has won in 22 states and secure additional 25% in Ekiti, Edo, Imo, Plateau, Benue and so on.
Bros abeg u too get brain, especially because of ur last sentence. As a matter of fact figures show an above 25% performance by buhari in all dos states xcept imo,if Gen.Bubu can score 25% in Imo hin try.

Why all these on the eve of an election to score extra votes...very shameful indeed.

Who are you to tell us who to choose? We gambled with you too and failed.

Your presidency is a punishment by God for a collective mistake of the nation and that mistake must be corrected with this Saturday's election.

You have proved over the course of 5.5 years to be grossly incompetent, very corrupt and wickedly divisive.

Under you, Nigeria has become a laughing stock not only amongst the world leaders but also within the smaller African countries such that Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon and even Chad now mock our country.

Fyi, we can never have it as bad as under you. Not even with a toddler surrounded by good personalities. as the president.

You rigged in Ekiti and you're proud to boast about it. You're pathetically shameless human being.
Your second sentence is the truest ever,he's a punishment/penance for our past mistakes.
