Nairaland is a cool place and this section, just as any other. Most topics/threads you see here are not real stories except very few, we just play along. We've got over 160M Nigerians, nairaland manages few thousands pass a 1M and you won't expect all of them to have a perfect relationship. Young man, the lady's action is synonymous to your personality. I think you're an aggressive dude. Away from that, forget your age, you are not matured and your emotion is just too weak to save your woman from family issues/matters. Why it's over-rated is because the trend has been adopted as the surest GRQ formular. I'd advise, if the motive is right and happiness, intact, could be a good move. |

Young woman, WHATEVER MADE YOU 'ENTER' THAT MARRIAGE SHOULD KEEP YOU IN THAT MARRIAGE. If you're weary in times of adversity, your strength is small. You're just 4years into barreness (no one will understand that it's your husband), i've seen 10 and even 25years barren home deliver babies. It's hard to make families and relatives understand the situation so stop narrating whatever. Hold unto God and get stucked to your faith and man. Also, be aware that you can't help God do His work. You met a man and fell in love with him and all of a sudden you want him to stop drinking, do you know how many years he has been drinking? Or do you have the slightest clue about his background? Don't be a foöl to think that LOVE or marriage will make him change because it can be hellish to stop some habits. Now young woman, to stop him from drinking, 1. You may need to stop his friends too. 2. He might see you as been possessive of him. 3. If you're religious, can you wait for God to answer your prayers in 5years time? I'd advise you 1. Stop being irritated by his drinks, see them as juice. 2. If you must marry him, ask/allow him to buy them and come drink them at home with you sitting beside him. That way you can keep him from excessive drinking with friends and as well control his bottles. As he drinks with you around him, humbly make him see reasons to stop, your soft words could do it. It's not magic but a process, assuredly, he will quit. All the best 1 Like |
