It been a crazy journey so far, there has been up and downs in this market.

I started out with as little as $10 and today I am @ $125. Thank you OakPearl for your input.

As a young investor, be SMART and not GREEDY, 15%-20% is a good PROFIT but if your fundamentals & DD are good, you can hold for as long as you wish.

In addition, I have been learning and still learning, here are few I learnt
- The success or failure of a trader depends on EMOTIONS
- You are RESPONSIBLE for every trade the market invokes
- Plan a trade and trade a plan
- Know your entry and exit plan & reason for such trade
- Do not make a decision or trade in the spur of the moment because your sense of judgement is beclouded
- Impulsive trade are very dangerous
- Have a limit to the amount you can risk in a trade i.e. avoid risking more than a certain percentage on your capital e.g. if you started out with $1000, do not risk more than a certain percentage determined by YOU on a trade
- Learn as much as you can, ask questions
- Do not get GREEDY to trade
- Design a trade system that will trade less often
- Develop a method for analysing the market e.g if A should happen B should be in profit
-Develop a money management plan e.g how much you will invest monthly, quarterly and annually
- if you are not sure of a trade, air on the side of caution
- Do not deal with brokers with high commission, shop for the one with the lowest commission
- Traders LOOSE because of lack of DISCIPLINE or IGNORANCE.
- MULTIPLE STREAMS of income is the key to your financial break-through.

Further more, Bamboo, Passfolio, Trove dont have all stocks but take out time go through the stocks in your app. An Investor once said, "invest in your girls friend" they love to wear shoes, bags, clothes, wigs, makeup, lipsticks find the fashion company in your app.

I am trying to olayt into the NSE because with the rising insecurity, health challenges and protest will trigge higher risk in a year married by global pandemic.

Allocate 2% to 8% of your liquid assets to sensible speculative assets or Investments.

Finally, a trader/investor is the weakest link in any trade- Alexander Elder.

About six years ago, my loving mum departed this world when I was a 20-year-old young chap. It was sudden and of course, painful.

However, fortunately, years before the ugly incident, I've met the LORD Jesus as a teenager, and have submitted my life to HIM. I will be eternally grateful to God for making me wise enough to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a teenager, and giving me the Holy Spirit Who helped me to embrace a life of holiness and purity. You know, I dedicated myself to serving Jesus, and didn't have time for many of those rubbish stuff many youngsters occupied themselves with.

Few days before my mum's death, I have been down with malaria. So, you can imagine how bad it was when the incident eventually happened. It was even scarier when some people started creating a picture of a tough and hopeless future.

But amazingly, JESUS promised to stay with me, and He assured me He will never forsake me for once. Guess what? It has been many years since then, and JESUS HAS NEVER FAILED. And I'm writing this as a testimony of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord Jesus.

I've been enjoying pleasantness from Him, and His support system never failed for once. Physically, emotionally, materially, mentally, spiritually, He is always there for me. He continued connecting me with people and platforms He make use of for my good and comfort. My ministry keeps growing, I live in peace and joy EVERYDAY, and I'm always enjoying bliss in HIM.

This is to testify that Jesus is True, and He is always True to His words. He has promised NEVER to forsake His own, and He has proven to be True. For me, it's an encouragement that everything He has spoken and recorded in the Bible, will always be fulfilled (including His second coming).

As I stated earlier, the wisest decision I made in life was to give my life to JESUS many years ago when I was still a young teenager. If I didn't do this at that time, I wonder what the effect the death of my mum would have had on me today.
And so, I'm encouraging you too, dear readers, to give your life to JESUS today, and make HIM your Lord and Savior. Jesus is all you need. If you open your heart to Him, He will come and give you peace and joy.

I don't know what is currently going on in your life. But I'm telling you that Jesus is the solution. Anywhere you are, just ask Him with sincerity, "Jesus, come into my life. Have mercy on me LORD JESUS'. He will not ignore you, but will turn your life around for good.

If you are already a Christian, I'm encouraging you to be more serious with Jesus, and let go of anything still holding you back from walking with HIM perfectly. Quit sin and immorality. Spend more time with HIM in prayers and Bible meditation. It is well with you in Jesus Name. Amen

I was a little bit timid why growing up, I found out that things don't usually work out well with me and the opposite gender, I always feel cheated and some kind of, so one day I was sitting alone and discovered that I was feeling some kind of Hot. To cut the long story short that was how the issue of masturbation en kindled me. But I discovered something then I lived a very stagnant life, I hardly have any goal accomplished, I will pray to God, cry, beg and fast still nothing changed. Immediately those act came and I perform it, it will be as if they have taken my joy away, I will be unnecessarily unhappy, I couldn't help myself then and I keep on repeating one particular goal. Life was just a messed up for me then that I even attempted suicide more than ten times.

Until I decided to listen to gospel giving myself wholly to God, I prayed to God to help me out as I couldn't help myself, because people including my relation always mock and take me as someone that have nothing to contribute, even when important issue emerge I hardly come to mind, sometimes I will sat down to imagine how I have been working so hard with no result, I hardly keep money, I don't even know sometimes how money use to vanish from my hand, in fact the whole thing may not be compiled in one note.

As I seek the face of God I prayed I refuse to allow those evil thought cross my mind, and the moment I started to abstain from it things started changing.

I can testify today that masturbation left me and I discovered who I am.

Its not an easy question because there are many things to consider. One man's stock may be another mans poison.

What is your investime horizon? What is your risk appetite?

If you are long term: macroeconomy (renewable energy), givernment policies (cannabis, online gambling), balance sheet (FAANG), quartely reports (Peloton), society needs (microchips),
guidance, P/E ratio, debt equity ratio,

If you are short term, then you would use technical tools (RSI, MACD, SMA or Fibonacci) or gauge market sentiment.

You may also want to speculate as in bet on the future possibilities of the comoany eg Tesla, Plug .
Stay updated with the news but also fall in love with tickers and do your own research. Choose a sector you like and try and read about the less popular comoanies in that sector that the market may not have noticed. e.g if you like fintech, even though the market knows sauqre and paypal, look into companies such as fiserv. If you like renewables look into compnies like GE.

Try to look for rekated industries too. For example if you like EVs, then you may want to look into battery storage companies.

Above all, try and read as much as you can.

After months of ruminating over this idea, I am glad to manage the time to create a tread like this.
This tread is to further open Nigerians and foreigners alike who have the same passion of wealth creation via investing in the United States stock markets.
As you may know, the market in the US is mirrored by the indices such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), The Standard & Purse (S&P) and the NASDAQ.
The whole essence is to have a pool of both inexperienced but interested would-be investors, and experienced resource persons who are willing to give back to the society by making informed analysis and opinions on the developments in the world markets and how members of this forum can make informed investment decisions accordingly.
I have tasted a bit of this market and can confirm that the world is a global village and that anyone can trade in the US market and make real US dollars from profits made.
For instance, I took a good look at the newly listed company called Virgin Galactic with thicker symbol (SPCE) and bought some shares at $8.20 on the 9th of December 2019. After watching it for a while and doing some more due diligence, I bought much more on the 10th of December 2019 at $9.23 as it kept rising.
As I type this piece to create this tread today the 4th of February 2020, it is trading at $19.56 per share! And am not a genius.

Gentle men and ladies, we can make a lot of money if we pool our wealth of knowledge and turn it into tangible financial cash cow.
This is not a get rich quick scheme, never a ponzi scheme, neither is this intended for any sort of internet fraud.
Wealth requires hard work (mental and intellectual) mixed with a good dose of patience.
I believe we are very many out there looking for legitimate source of building wealth.
This is just one more avenue we can utilize to team up together to accelerate our financial freedom.
Knowledge they say is power, but until acquired knowledge is applied, there can never be power.

Therefore I humbly declare this forum open to all chartists, fundamentalists, and freshers alike.
Lets keep it simple, no fighting or bullying , be of matured conduct, engage intelligently, add some humour, have lots of fun and of course make money together in the process.
Wow...the Dow has already jumped 500 points today , rebounding from the slide caused by the coronavirus in China!
