Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Dfazz: 10:50pm On Oct 01, 2022
Can someone with a visit visa still allow to enter the UK after missing the date of entering she provided during the visa application process. Won’t there be so many questions at point of entering as I am worried cos she is an elderly person and it won’t be nice if the immigration oyibo subject her to answering lots of questions

Please does a visit visa come in an enclosed envelope together with an instruction on an A4 sheet outlining one’s permission to stay in the UK just like the student visa, as my mum just picked up her travel document with just the visa vignettes alone and this is her first time. Please I need clarification

Please the £20,480 is it gross or netpay per annum as I am confuse on this l will appreciate if anyone who has successfully gone thru this can explain better
Bourne007:
Check https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/your-job. "You’ll usually need to be paid at least £20,480 per year"

If you have a partner on a dependant visa working FT, s/he may qualify with a good credit history

Thanks you mama,
I don't have any issue with my passport/ BRP and other documents as they all have just my first name and surname. The issue here is that my birth certificate has my middle name and I have never used the name ever before in any of my documents, now if I tender this to my employer will it not contradict with the name maintained on my documents.
Mamatukwas:

As long as both names also appear on your birth certificate I don’t see why this should be a problem. Has anybody complained?

Alright
omopapa:
Latent TB are usually inactive but can become active with time. Good news is that it can be treated with 3-6 months course of antibiotics but some factors like age and immunity needs to be consider before prescribing the Ax.

The test result shld have triggered a referral to approximate clinic and also a copy of the letter sent to your GP. If your GP doesn’t get in touch in the next couple of days, you shld call them and book appointment for further test and treatments.

Nothing major to worry about tho

Okay
DisGuy:

Worried as in...? Please book an appointment with your GP asap to start treatment. Surprised they didn't direct you to the appropriate clinic

Or perhaps it's just an indication not really TB? Wait for the medical experts on here abeg or seek advice from your GP

Make sure to declare any refusal of any sort in order to avoid unnecessary drama
iCode2:
Hello guys. I was denied US visit visa in 2015. Do I have to declare that also? Or is it only if it was a student visa that you declare it?
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Dfazz: 6:59am On Oct 28, 2020
Thanks LAYUSMEN I am handing it over to God, she is not the main applicant and I am in UK already.
LAYUSMEN:
I doubt there's a solution. Usually, if your wife is not the main applicant, there's high chance she won't be thoroughly scrutinised like you.

However, as to whether there's a solution, there's none except you'll cancel the application and file another.

This october, I made a mistake in my visa application. I contacted UKVI through email, unfortunately, I was told there's no solution to it. I was told my application would be treated based on what I submitted, but my mistakes won't be corrected, but if UKVI required more information, I would be contacted.

While I did not receive any call from UKVI, I got my visa 5 days after with my mistakes, a bogus one that could earn me a 10 years ban, treated as tiny.

It is always good to declare every visa refusal, but in cases where it was forgotten, what remains is prayer, application can't be changed.

Good luck to you.
