Henry240:
Let us also remember Navy Seaman Paul from Bayelsa state, who gave his life so that his colleagues would live.

Brave Nigerian naval officer Seaman Amaseimogha Paul ensured he died alone after noticing landmine while fighting Boko Haram insurgents in Borno state.

His touching story was shared by his colleague, Okunima Patrick, below:

“You weren’t the first Naval personnel to die in the battle against insurgency, but the special thing about your death is that when you stepped on a landmine, you knew death was unavoidable, so you alerted your colleagues to steer clear as far as they could go, away from the mine, before detonating the explosive. What an act of bravery.

K. I. A - 2015

At the burial, colleagues and relatives of Amaseimogha couldn’t help but betray emotions as they broke down in tears.
Henry240, you just made a man cry inside embarassed cry embarassed No words can describe the sacrifice he made for his brothers to see their loved ones again.

Please let's respect the families of those that lost their own in the accident and stop posting pictures like this. That's my best friend's younger sister (only sibling for that matter) in the front seat of the vehicle, although she died on her way to the hospital. Seeing the picture alone has destabilized me, not to talk of when he sees this. cry. We'll miss you.

The uniform doesn't make them look smart. I know comparison is not the best but we borrow a leaf from foreign agencies so dressing should also be a part of it too.

Congrats on your cowardice, I didnt know you were such a quitter. You should have been called quitter.

There are no perfect marriages, people stay together because they re determined to.

If you re planning to quit after just 2 yrs then you dont have what it takes to stay in a marrige and lack the capacity to make the right choice in a partner.

Take that from me. angry
Perfect response. Marriage is not for quitters.

What makes them feel better and more intelligent than Nigerians .
This part of your post that I quoted is what is wrong with some of us in Nigeria. Some of us never see the good in others.

Imagine in my office today, the argument is that intelligence is not found in some regions in Nigeria. So we now say God hates some people right?

It's not about the English man, it's about humans and their superiority complex. embarassed It's really sad, honestly. Reason why I avoid arguments. Everyone claims to be an epitome of knowledge.
