"beautiful poetry"

Yams as in "ji" "isu"... wareva grin. Someone once told me water-yam.
Do yorubas really eat lots of yams? All the asaro at work hah? Lols.
I wouldn't know if that's what they eat, but I couldn't help noticing they have lots and lots of twins.
Yes. They do eat lots of yam especially pounded yam. Ekiti state is renowned for yam eating oooo. I was leaning towards ewedu. It just had to be something. Hmmm *thinking aloud*

I heard yams help, I can't be so sure how true. 'thought birthing twins is supposed to be genetic?
Well, I am sure ARTs boost chances of multiple birth(s), also heard of clomid, though it shouldn't be taken without being monitored by a doctor.
Kachisbarbie you mean yams as in real "yams"? never heard of that before. I was working on a research on why Yorubas have the most twin related pregnancies in Nigeria? Could it be what they eat or what? I'm not sure.

I suspect the Russian bots that like to compare the United States with Russia on any basis, would hate this frank admission by the Russian President himself. LOL!

oh, and of course, this is straight from a Russian news outlet...just saying, for the sake of the one idiot out here!
You are right about this. I've never been one to doubt the supremacy of the US. There has and can never be two world powers at the same time. The better Putin realizes this (has even realized), the better for Russian economy.

It's very bad that Russia's legal tender can not be used anywhere in the world except in Russia.

This is the first time the government is taking proactive steps to stop this kind of mass sacking trend.
I applaud the move. Hope we sustain it. I'm also concerned about employees whose wages have been slashed and those whose salaries have been stopped close to for months now.

It's really a trying time for our economy. I hope we still provide food for our families By the grace of Almighty God.
Politics › Re: Ngige's Threat To Banks; See Labour Acts Breached By Banks: Know Your Right!!! by dfrost: 7:38am On Jun 14, 2016
koboko69:
The option was dialogue was already opened before. The minister made the directives that sackings be suspended and negotiations should go on first, not up to a week after another bank announced laying off staffs. That was what occassioned the threat. Read Ngige's statement again. This as been going on in the past, but no minister had ever taken any action. Ngige should be applauded for this.
Thanks for the promptness in replying. What of points 1 and 3 raised?
Politics › Re: Ngige's Threat To Banks; See Labour Acts Breached By Banks: Know Your Right!!! by dfrost: 7:24am On Jun 14, 2016
koboko69:
Where are the people who almost beheaded Ngige for doing the right thing, particularly the PDP minions, and the IPAD yoots, who have even disowned Ngige for fighting for their rights. Why are they shamelessly and mysteriously peeping in those this thread and quietly walking out.

Lalasticlala mynd44 we need more opinions
koboko69 I concur with all your assertions but look at things from the other side of the divide too:

1. Has the government protected the rights of the employees ever since even when Labour intervenes? Do you think of there was a case where the government protected, people won't tap into such and use that as a precedent to use their rights?

2. What ever happened to dialogue instead of threatening?

3. Of course Ngige must have seen this coming so proactive measures of holding town hall meetings with stakeholders should have been the best option. What do you think?

Before answering, please keep an open mind. I'm not a politician nor partisan.

Since you have time to create a thread for this topic, you can as well research on it. I'm using one closer to a year now and my battery is still working same as when I bought the phone, although not ruling any assumption of it has any effect on the battery on the lint run. I'll try and research on it. No knowledge lost.

I understand that the network can be frustrating atimes, no denying that but it's good for competition. Other providers will need to step up their game.
