Sorry bro, carbs don't help a bodybuilder.
Protein is key man. Carbs only give energy. Proteins help to build the muscles. The muscles hypertrophy when you work out and that's where protein comes in.

SnakeXenzia, don't take supplements since you're not building your body for professional purposes. If you stop supplements just for a week, you'll look like a fowl that has just entered water. I'm Talking from experience.
As a student, best way to bulk up considering expenses is to eat like 3-5 eggs per day along with whatever you eat.
Follow my advice for two months and you'll see changes
Bros you need carbs. Let's not argue. Protein is key but you need carbs mostly after post workout. Ciao.

This is a faceless forum but pick your words carefully. Someone can get hurt by or get encouraged by them. You can pick the side you want to. Ciao.

pippimp:
Men, good job. The only problem i see is you are not bulking. You need to do a bulk cycle. Eat as much protein and carbohydrate to help you bulk and then work out. You will get a better result.
A mate spotted. You sabi jarè. op you need to eat more of carbs as pippimp mentioned. If possible spread your meals and eat up to five to six times a day.

Blend (of you have access to steady power supply) a mixture of cabbage, bananas and yogurt together. Eat a mixture of Fruited Pumpkin and a portion of fish 30 minutes before you hit the gym.

PS: work on legs very important else you end up looking like Johnny Bravo. Ciao.

Everyone starts from somewhere. He's humble enough to show his background. Kudos to the op.

@ SnakeXenzia well done. Use smaller weights and spend longer time. Always remember to give your muscles rest in-between. Ciao.

I thought she is married.... SMH... I really pity our young growing ladies. These celebrities don't know that they are role models and they keep living immoral lives thinking they are doing it for themselves. From immoral songs to immoral movies to immoral lifestyles and our children are watching and copying them. The demons we fight are the ones our fathers created. Its all good.
My brother, unfortunately I came late to the party. You took the words out of my mouth. What is shocking is how we intend to celebrate mediocrity, vanity et al. Does she even know the history of of bridal shower? Is she not a mother already?

Would you stop to help a fallen runner during your 5,000 metre race in the Olympics? Not many people would – but in a moment that defines Olympic spirit, one person did.

New Zealand’s Nikki Hamblin fell just over halfway into her race on Tuesday, accidentally tripping up American athlete Abbey D’Agostino with around 2,000m left to run.

D’Agostino, 24, quickly got back up, but, rather than carrying on with the race, she stopped to help her competitor who remained on the ground after falling hard on her shoulder.

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/08/16/sport/rio-2016-nikki-hamblin-abbey-dagostino-olympic-spirit/

honeric01 and semid4lyfe let's show the world that winning is not all that matters but unity and humanity that is found in the Olympic principles - that it's "a philosophy of life, exalting and combining in a balanced whole the qualities of body, will and mind."

Sports › Beauty Of Olympic: Unity And Humanity At Its Peak by dfrost(op):
North and South Korea gymnasts at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games have shown the world a brief moment of unity, in the form of a selfie.

Lee Eun-ju of South Korea and Hong Un-jong of the North took a quick smiling snapshot during the training period before the start of the Games. The pictures of the two women have been widely praised as capturing the Olympic spirit. North and South Korea are technically still at war with each other and relations between the two have been more tense in recent months, with recent missile launches from Pyongyang.

Good to hear that you guys managed it well. I've discovered that Nigerians are not educated in a lot of things, honestly (read in between the lines). I remember telling someone about DS but she couldn't understand until I described it in crude terms. She said "ooh, those slowpoke people". Imagine!

Kudos to the op and her family.

Someone told me that banks make most of their money from shady deals. I'm beginning to succumb to that submission. It seems that this TSA thing really hit them hard. Let them invest in people for crying out loud. Give loans to young entrepreneurs and rake in your interest. Bankers are lazy upstairs (albeit not all).

All their marketers are interested in is deposit, deposit and deposit. Gosh... angry

Thank you. As you can imagine, almost 45 is a long time and I've had a lot of activities in life which that post doesn't come close to reflecting. Right now, what irks me and the reason for my post is that inspite of my efforts to get back on my feet, there's no provision for people like us in the eyes of govt or society. I can not find real capital to invest in my business for the reason the OP has stated. I live by generosity of one or two of my siblings after having run out of the monies I sourced myself. What irks me the most is I have a huge lot to offer, not to be treated as a charity case, but people don't patronise a small starter and I don't have as little as 1.5 million at once to come out big (a shop/office alone would gulp +500k in a good place). I deal in tech which is capital intensive but I'm very good in things I involve myself in. You can send a code so I can reach you privately. I insist I'm not a charity case; I bring a lot to the table. Thanks
Hmmm... I'll send you a pm. Never give up. cry smiley wink

I'm not a football fan, but seeing the hate football can breed esp between Merci and Ronaldo's fan, I can only wonder ............
I wonder too my brother.

I guess it's foolishness to kill oneself over another man's success or failure. Like seriously if I worry or feel happy about Messi or Ronaldo, how does that translate to food on my family's table?

A colleague of mine wanted to start a conversation on Ronaldo winning Euro 2016 and Messi losing out to Chile. He even gave childish reasons that Messi had not won any trophy with Argentina. When I pointed to him the accolades he won with Argentina, he said yes but not senior trophies. Imagine.

This is someone that is almost 38 years old with no relationship meanwhile Ronaldo and Messi already have heirs to their dynasties.

I weep for some people.

And when namdi kanu call this country a zoo, some people will be annoyed.
You can still make your point without referring to what anyone thinks of the country. God never thought of calling the Israelites animals even they disappointed Him many times. Unfortunately for the person you referred to, he still moves about with a passport from the so called 'zoo'.

Back to the matter, it's only God that saves is from this happy-trigger cops. I still don't understand why rifles are handed to cops on duty in Nigeria.

LizGray I prefer women that look natural because the makeup clouds their real beauty. Ever wondered why Adam was overwhelmed with Eve's beauty (facial though) when he first saw her? My dear, when a woman looks natural overtime, men will always trip for her. Albeit a little/light makeup is not bad in itself.
