This is a govt that promised to hit the ground running but instead of making good their promise they started complaining and lamenting right from day one and telling us how PDP ruled this country for 16 good years and abused our collective future. Perhaps they need to be reminded that out of the 16 years, the Southwest and North make nonsense of our nationhood for a whole 11 and half years. The earlier this govt of lamentation and complain starts walking the talk and make no more vague promises the better for our future. The wailing wailers will continue to wail because what they see while sitting the gullible (APC and their e-rats) will not see even though they climbed the highest of mountains. |
Has the presidency seen and approved this list? Cos I don't want Femi Adesina to come and deny this list by tomorrow. Govt of denial and lamentation. |

Babalegba: WHAT IS STEALING?If you still can't tell the difference between the two... If only you will not be sentimental, then you will learn something today. By the way if you have seen the genuine "change" promised me us by APC please do inform us because the change we have seen so far is the northernalization of our political heritage. |
Babalegba:It is obvious you have problem with comprehension. Till this moment you still don't know the fine difference between stealing and corruption. Only an illiterate will argue that black and white tv is not coloured tv. Again, in the voice of President Dr GEJ "stealing is not corruption", and it is absolutely so. If you think otherwise, prove it. Main while, nigerians are anxiously waiting the much publicised "change". |
Op I can't believe you wasted your precious time posting this nice trash, just because you want to rationalise PMB's northernization. Please get a life like PGEJ. |
jze:Where is the reduction in price u posted. |

Why is it taking PMB so long to make his change visible? Don't he know that the much preached change is the 1001 promises he made during his campaign. I think baba is still in West Germany with President Michelle. APC and PMB has not seen pressure and they have started fumbling. What will now happen when the real pressure starts coming? |
XavierBlue:100 days is just 3Months and 2Wks, hoping the magician will do magic. |
MalcoImX:Who is now the president? Brainless PMB or GEJ? It beholds PMB to arrest and prosecute the looters, else he should shut his licky licky mouth. Need I remind you that PMB is the anti corruption Czar. |
kromoto:By next week Tuesday, 30th of June 2015, people will start going to the banks for their 5K as promised by APC and PMB. I so much thank God for the "ChAnGE". PMB was really brain-dead, sorry I mean brainless when he was making some of those unrealistic promises. |
ice25:trying to comprehend what? When he was making vague and bogus promise he understood the country now that it has come to walk the talk he is trying to understand. Time wait for no body; PBM is already 72, vitality is not his friend. The slower he becomes, the better for sceptics, and the opposition. God bless PMB, the _________. |
Opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has reacted to the recent statement of President Buhari, where he claimed to have met an empty treasury. Buhari had on Monday, June 22, stated that Nigerians should not expect too much in his first 100 days in office because he met the treasury empty and inherited a government drowning in huge debts. The PDP, in its response to the statement, said the President should stop giving excuses and start doing the work he was elected to do. Read below, a statement released on Tuesday, June 23, by the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh. “While we restate our resolve to engage only in credible and issue based opposition, we want the President and the APC to note that their plea for patience from Nigerians does not arise, because ab-initio, there has not been any indication that they are actually serious and determined to deliver on their campaign promises upon which they rode to power. “Of course Nigerians are willing to support and cooperate with the President, but we are worried that the pictures emerging from his presidency and his party do not in any way inspire hope in the citizenry, especially as they have continued to show that theirs is ostensibly a matter of obtaining power by false pretenses. “President Buhari and the APC must know that Nigerians did not give them the mandate to engage in frivolous excuses and pleas but to hit the ground running with solutions and quick fixes they promised during the campaigns. We ask, is President Buhari’s statement an admission of poor knowledge of national and international economic affairs or does it underscore the lack of capacity and skills by the administration to effectively harness and galvanize resources and potential inherent in Nigeria which has already been nurtured as Africa’s largest economy and one of the fasted growing in the world. “Even if Nigerians decide to wait endlessly, we wonder how much the President can achieve amidst the flip-flops from his presidency and cacophony of interests from his party leaders struggling to enlarge their selfish political and economic frontiers. “How can one reconcile President Buhari’s statement with the recent ridiculous and misleading claim by APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed that this administration has achieved in three weeks what the immediate past administration did not achieve in five years? “Since after their electoral victory, the APC and the President have continued to expose their lack of commitment towards their campaign promises. “We recall that on May 5, 2015, twenty-four days before his inauguration, President Buhari at a meeting with APC leaders in Abuja opened the excuse galore when he expressed his nervousness to deliver in office, adducing that ‘Rome was not built in a day’. “We also recall that in their attempt to find an escape route in one of their bogus campaign promises, the APC denied that the President ever promised Nigerians that they will end insurgency two months after inauguration but had to swallow their words after the PDP confronted them with the April 22, 2015 CNN interview where Buhari made that promise. “Indeed, we empathize with the President knowing that the confusion and clear lack of direction in his party have not helped matters, but we urge him to rise up to the challenge, take urgent steps and disentangle himself from the selfish and unpatriotic tendencies of APC leaders, especially given the fact that Nigerians gave him a mandate for which they will continue to hold him accountable. “Finally, the PDP restates that it is eager to see the APC and the President unveil their economic road map and blueprint for governance so as to enable us through robust opposition, provide credible alternatives and options for their policies and programmes in the overall interest of our dear nation”. obontami:For your mind you don post sensible comment. The era of excuses is gone. The sooner APC realised that they are now the ruling party the better for nigerians. Propaganda and lies helped them attain the presidency, but won't keep them beyond 2019; their fulfilment to their vague and bogus electoral promises will. Nigerians know PMB is not a magician, but he made Nigerians see him as a magician, hence they voted for him. we are saying he should be the magician he said he is when he was campaigning. God bless the ________ President. *Disclaimer* you are responsible for whatever you put in that underline space. |
No matter how fast lie travels, the truth will definitely catch up with it. Whether appointed or not, nominated or not, time will reveal the true nature of things. |
When one is blinded with politics, even truth and common sense elude such a one. |
What is the correlation between the picture and the task ahead. We should be praying that the enemies of change and progress should not hijack and take hostage our cautious hope and optimism embedded in Buhari's presidency. Our greatest contribution will be helping GMB to fulfil his campaign promises less we will be worst off. |
