Dampops: You need to calm down and get them on phone again. You’re almost at the finish line, don’t let anyone ruin your joy. Thank you, I guess I’ll keep trying to call them. |

Hello, I’m not sure of what to do again. I got a notification that my passport is ready for pick up, I called the vfs, the agent was extremely rude to me and even cut the phone on me while I was calling out my tracking ID. I have tried to call the vfs back, but it doesn’t go through. Can anyone please put me through with the process, thank you. |

NaijaCanadian28: Thank you so much for this. I already looked into this but the requirement for this particular school is that I must have graduated from the first degree less than five years ago and I graduated 2012. I also didn’t do two of the required courses (Psychology and Statistics). But now that you mentioned it, I will look into other Universities (since I only checked Uni of Alberta). Thank you once again . You could also look into the University of Lethbridge for the after degree, for your prerequisite they offer a program called nursing preparation program. I am also doing something similar. |

Eilenora: No update yet. Still showing medicals not received. The wait is killing so even though I have AIP and received medical request (though did upfront medicals) I just want to know what my notes are saying so applied about an hour ago I’m also thinking of applying for mine, I hope they have gotten it and just forgot to update or something. |

Spotlights: It is 2 ways! 1. Maybe you were required to upload a requested document which u did or did not till the given time elapsed. (The column would show action required pending the given time frame while u upload then changed to submitted if you upload or the time elapsed without u upload)
2. Maybe your application was opened before and now its received and been worked on. It simply with my first reason though.
Were u meant to upload a document before? Yes was sent a medical request, but I did an upfront medical, I have sent multiple web forms and emails regarding it, but changed to we did not receive your medical results. I have reached out to the hospital and they confirmed that it has been sent. I don’t know what else to do. |

skull4eva: It means they have started to work on your application be more prayerful now. When did you apply and to which school? Thank you, July 1st, to the University of Lethbridge. I was just worried because it says my medical results have not been received, even though I have sent multiple web forms and mails to them. I’m just hoping for the best at this point. |

holluville: Hi DicedApples
The circled shows the date you submitted your online application and nothing more.. I don’t think you understand my question, it was your action is required for a month straight, now it’s submitted. |

[quote author=Eilenora post=93897397]says they did not receive it. it was upfront and I sent several emails and raised several webforms with the information sheet within the 30days grace period given to me to go do medicals.still yet to reflect.u know I passed cos i have a copy of my results
@eilenora. I have the same exact issue as you, it says my medical results have not been received, but the current status shows “submitted”. I wanted to know if it shows the same for you.

SKEPTA: I was in your shoes up until last week
I’ll advise you to keep raising webforms like at least twice a week and also send emails and attach the medical slip to both ircc nairobi and lagos I guess I’ll have to send another web form, how many did you send before you were answered and how many days did it take for your medical to be updated to passed. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by dicedapples: 8:35pm On Sep 08, 2020 |
Eilenora: After 30 days it changed to medicals not received, despite my plenty emails and webforms forwarding the information sheet to them. Dont know what else to do besides wait whilst trying not to be anxious I’m having the same issue, today makes it 25 days for me. I don’t know what else to do, I have sent a web form and uploaded the slip, I also sent a mail to Nairobi with the slip, and yet nothing has been updated. I don’t even know what to do again. |

Austacus: It's a pity in this generation, when you tell people the truth and being straightforward, they term you to be rude.
Bro, it cringes me how some of y’all use God's names.
I know ”God is the greatest above all”, he gave us the wisdom to see the foresight and avoid mistake, if you fail to do it and you call Gods name, it's a waste of time and abuse of his name. Your statement came off as rude and hurtful, you could have just ignored his question easily. You didn’t have to say that and especially without clearly stating the reason. Other people are still trying to correct you and you are taking offense to that. Your manner of approach was very wrong. |

Hi guys, so I did my medical exam, uploaded it using the e-medical slip. Then I was granted a first stage approval last week. Today I got a medical request, regardless of the fact that I have already uploaded it. Please has anyone on this thread faced a similar challenge, and what did you eventually do about it? |

amobola: Hi house. Quick question, is it necessary to change a document by document Wes report used for EE to a course by course report for study purpose.Though admission has been obtained from a college already but is it necessary to do it to strengthen the study visa application? Thanks No I used a document by document type and it was clearly accepted. |

Just saw this on a forum, this should be enough for us to know that not everyone is getting the first stage approval.

JustMellow: Hello Dicedapples,
Rolling it over may be the best bet and wait for any further request if the certificate isn't sufficient enough or liquify it and deposit it into your account then send both the BS and proof of liquidation. The latter makes more sense if the funds is sufficient enough to cover your first year studies.
All the best Thanks for the reply, the funds have been liquidated. I also came across a tweet from a person who asked about his CAQ expiring soon, and his study permit was still being processed. IRCC replied saying as long as the certificate was valid at the time of submission, then it shouldn’t be a problem. I’m just hoping that answer also applies to me. |

Hi guys, I applied for my study permit on the 1st of July, and part of my proof of funds was a certificate of treasury bills that I purchased. My application is still being processed, but the treasury bills will mature on the 30th which is tomorrow. I don’t know how this will affect my application or if I’ll need to roll over and submit that again through the web form. Please any advice will be helpful, thanks. |

Hi guys, I have been granted admission to UofL in Canada for a preparatory nursing program for a year, after which I’ll enter the nursing program for two years. I already have a degree in an unrelated course here in Nigeria, which I completed last year. I’m preparing to apply for my study permit but I need tips on how to make my SOP strong and also to explain why I am taking another undergraduate. I will be using two sponsors ( my dad and my sister). I also do not know if I need to show my travel history, as my travel history is over 12 years. I’ll be expecting feedback, thank you. |
