Jaykizz: I also noticed most car rating agencies always pick the Honda ahead of the Toyota in their overall rating.
Are we now assuming most Nigerians are only following the bandwagon rather than doing their own thorough research?
Most of my personal research shows that the Honda is a better vehicle.
If that is the case, I believe that the demand for Toyota is what makes its price higher than the Honda in Nigeria, rather than it being a more superior vehicle. True talk... I am a proud team Honda |

Ikenna351: You don't need to know the reason why the engine cooling system thermostat was removed before reinstalling one. It's easier to to find out the reason when you reinstall one, for if truly the car over heated which led to the removal of thermostat, the issue will resurface and you properly diagnose and fix it. Without thermostat, engine will not run hot enough to prove how good the cooling system components are.
95% of Nigerians remove their engine cooling system thermostat not because their vehicles were/are overheating, but because of fear it could or would do, considering the crappy belief that Nigeria is the closest country to Sun. Some don't even understand their vehicle coolant temperature gauges and would assume their cars were overheating when they are not.
Reinstalling engine coolant thermostat when found absent is a must to me when people bring their lions to me to diagnose high fuel consumption issues or they take their lions back and find who can continue the abuse for them. They always have that choice, just like i have.

Kapilk: Hello Friend. I'm about to purchase a Nigerian used Lexus ES330 from cars45. The inspection report is superb. The mileage is good. My problem is that the price is strange. It's going for 1.3m. I don't have much knowledge of cars so I'm a bit skeptical because I thought it should be more expensive than that but I just hope I'm just been lucky. Experts, I would appreciate ur opinions on the pros and cons of a used Lexus ES330. Thanks a lot carry your mechanic go, test drive, do your due diligence... I have heard bad story and good story... All the best |

Please, I will be embarking on a road trip from Lagos to Abakaliki after the interstate movement ban is lifted. I wish to know how the road is cos I will be driving down. Will it be wise to drive Honda EOD for this trip? Do your maintenance, check fluid level, let your mechanic check your suspension, if he certify them as OK... Why not if not |

Jaykizz: Hello guys.
So I am considering buying the 2007 Accord.
I have read through the comments and must admit that it is an eye opener, especially for new car drivers.
Since the last post was made in 2018, I would like to hear further reviews about this Honda.
I am thorn between buying the 2006 Accord, Camry or Corolla models.
As a Nigerian driver, what are your views on the three cars?
Which is the best for everyday consumption?
I am well aware of their individual advantages, but what Toyota fans never tell you is the disadvantage of getting a Toyota.
Can we have more discussions on the pros and cons of these cars?
These will further educate us on the overall better car. Honda all the way, chat up gazzuzz or nurey for quality advice. By the way gazzuzz have a nice Honda crv same |

amdman: UPDATE
The most challenging part for us when it comes to delivering on our promise to you is the clearing of our containers when they arrive Nigeria, due to the obfuscated processes for container clearing at the Nigerian ports. We currently have delays concluding the clearing of several containers shipped via container shipping, and we have been working hard to find suitable alternatives. We can now announce that we have concluded arrangements to transit to RORO shipping for our transactions going forward.
WHAT WILL CHANGE 1. Your car will be shipped via RORO (without the use of containers) 2. We will handle buying and shipping, while your nominated agent will handle the clearing 3. We will pre-qualify agents and indicate how much they will charge for the clearing of your car (you can use your own agent even if not on the list). You will still be able to tell how much you will pay in total. Agents will have terms of engagement and will be sanctioned for any breach of same.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU 1. You will be able to choose and appoint any clearing agent of your choice to handle the clearing of your car 2. You will be able to get your car out of the ports faster and cheaper 3. You will have access to a wider selection of cars, including accidented and other salvage titled vehicles. 4. We will continue to offer you the best prices for the best cars.
Interested clearing agents should reach us on +14372215476 for pre-qualification.
Thank you for your continued patronage. Awesome |

BusterG: The ones you mentioned all had somewhat minor issues. I’ve seen some really messed up salvage titles and then dealers here kinda resurrect these cars and sell as clean titles.
Best is to do a VIN before buying any toks car. Yes I always do that... |
