Tip smartly

There is a lot of staff at a hotel and it can be very confusing as to know who needs to be tipped and who doesn’t. Anyone who works at the main desk does not need to be tipped for their services. However, if the hotel has a concierge desk and you utilized their services during your stay, you can offer a tip.

Arrange your dirty clothes before housekeeping arrives

The housekeeping staff keeps the rooms clean for the guests, but there are certain things that guests should do prior to housekeeping entering the room. Guests should pile all their dirty towels into one pile, preferably in the bathtub, so that housekeeping can easily see what needs to be removed and replaced. All trash should be placed in a garbage can for easy removal as well.

Do not enter a restaurant with your bathrobe

Some hotels offer continental breakfasts or even full breakfasts for their guests, which is a wonderful way to save money when you travel. However, guests need to follow some guidelines. When a guest goes down for breakfast, they should be dressed for their day. No one should ever enter the breakfast room pyjamas or bathrobe. Guests should take the food that they will be eating for breakfast but don’t take additional food with you for the rest of the day.

Be a gracious guest

Just because you are paying to stay at the hotel does not mean you have to make demands. Unless your room is dirty, untidy or unsuitable for your needs being a gracious guest means you can enjoy your break without getting stressed. If you ask for room service or additional pillows etc. do allow staff sufficient time to fulfil your request before making further demands.

Departure

Most hotels make checkout quite easy notwithstanding if you booked the room online or at the hotel. As long as a guest does not see any discrepancies on the bill and doesn’t have any issues that they need to discuss with the front desk, most hotels allow them to leave their hotel keys inside their room and leave.

Good day, Romancelanders. I met this girl last November and things were going on well between us. But lately I've been thrown into a state of confusion as to what I got myself into. She receives calls from strange numbers and a few times, I've noticed a certain patten in her conversation, like "Hello - Yes, I'm fine - Okay, let me see if I'll have chance". and this goes for every other strange call she receives. Also recently, I found out she's been sleeping out late. Few days back, I slept out just to see when she will come back, and to my greatest surprise, up till about 2.00am, she didn't return. We quarelled for about 2days and she was crying and begging me to forgive her, that she went to see her friend, a female, though I know its all lies. To make matters worse, she has a particular friend that is a runs girl! Sometimes when they're discussing, they will talk all manner of nonsense, she will be mimicking how her friend moans during sex, and they will laugh about it. I felt embarassed and walked out of both of them.

I really don't know what to do right now. She cried and apologized for sleeping out, I could tell that she was truly sorry. I love her, but I hate what she does, and anytime I think of breaking up, we still find a way to get back together. What should I do?

Many are already planning to sleep around on Valentine's Day (as they believed that is how best to celebrate it). But take your time to see these Four Powerful Reasons You Must Run From Premarital Sex On Valentine's Day

1. It Makes You Unguarded And Open To Attacks: If you want to go far in life, you must take spiritual things more serious. The physical things that happens around us that we can see with our eyes, are mere reflections of the things that had already happened in the spiritual realm.

In the spiritual realm, everytime, every moment, the evil devil and his evil cohorts keeps roaming about looking for those to destroy.

However, you are being guarded by God your Creator in the spiritual realm, as He has put a hedge of protection around you that prevents evil darts from the evil ones from getting to you.

But once you had premarital sex, you commit a sin that makes you slip away from God's hedge of protection. Sin separates man from God - God is a Holy God Who won't have anything to do with the dirt of sin.

In the Bible, according to 1 Corinthians 6, you do not belong to yourself, but to God. And your body should not be used for sexual immoralities, but to serve the Lord (because He has bought you with a price by sending His only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for your sins).

God being the Creator of sex has ordered that all manner of sexual activities must be between a husband and his wife in the safe confine of their marriage union, with no other party involved.

Any other thing is a sin to God. When you commit a sin, you are insulting God - and it will attract punishments. What you sow is what you reap. If you are disobedient to God, you will definitely be punished. God knows everything (He is the wisest). If God asked us not to do something, it is for our own good.

4. It Can Lead You To Hell Fire: Gone are the days when only old people die constantly. Today, many young people are dying on a regular basis. What if it's your turn to die this Valentine week? What if you die on your way home after fornicating on Valentine's Day? What if you die the next day?

What if Jesus even comes when you are on that bed of immorality? And let me tell you with full confidence that JESUS CHRIST will come anytime soon! He might even come back for His saints on Valentine's Day, or the next day.

Where will you find yourself when you die, or when Jesus comes. Heaven, or Hell? Live carefully as if the trumpet will sound (or you will die) the next minute.

And if you are wise, you will avoid all forms of sins, including premarital sex on Valentine's Day and beyond.

A lady identified as Funmi Adewola, has taken to Facebook to warn Nigerians to be careful when using mobile phone near gas cylinder. The warning is coming after a horrific explosion which happened in her house recently in Lagos. According to her, the gas cylinder was leaking in the kitchen as she and her other relatives tried to fix the burner before it exploded after a message came into the phone.

Read her story below;

PHONE IGNITING GAS IS REAL, BE WARNED!

At about 1:30pm on Sunday 20th January, 2018 I was chatting on my phone in the sitting room in my house when I heard an hissing sound. On investigation it was my wife's niece and my Niece's daughter in the kitchen trying to fix burner onto a camp gas cylinder.

When the leaking persist the wife came from the room to help them fix the burner. I kept hearing the hissing sound of the leaking gas so I stood up with my phone in my hand and went into the kitchen to give a helping hand and luckily we were able to stop the lickage but already the kitchen was charged with the gas.

I warned them not to strike matches yet because the gas is much in the kitchen, at that moment a message came into my phone which was on vibration and the next I heard was was the explosion which threw all of us in different direction with different magnitude of burns as you can see in the picture.

I posted this to warn us all to be careful with phone when using gas.

May almighty Allah heal my family."

My view:

If you use gas to cook, please make it a habit never to go into your kitchen with a phone.

No call or message is worth your life, if you need to use your phone light to see, please put it on flight mode.

Same goes to those who use their phone light to refuel their generator.

Children could be seen playing on the snow-covered sand dunes just outside the town, while others posed on the snow to document the rare event.

The heavy snowfall makes the sand dunes look like snow-covered Alpine mountains



Snow was last seen in the town of Ain Sefra on February 18, 1979.
