DUBAI: Bahrain’s National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) has approved the use of China-based Sinopharm’s COVID-19 vaccine in the country on Sunday, the state news agency has reported.

The approval follows the success of Sinopharm’s clinical trials across several countries, where Phase III results showed an 86 percent efficacy rate on 42,299 volunteers.

The NHRA thoroughly reviewed the data behind the Chinese-made vaccine, including manufacturing process and stability of the product, and it consulted specialists, doctors, and other experts before the approval.


The country previously allowed Sinopharm to conduct Phase III trials of the vaccine in the country, where 7,700 volunteers participated. It had eventually approved the vaccine last month for use by frontline workers.

The Sinopharm vaccine has been approved for emergency use in a few countries and the company is still conducting late-stage clinical trials in 10 countries.

I think MTN recycled someone's Sim and you bought it, same way glo recycled my sim of over 17 years just because I was using it as my whatshapp line.

I have never seen any street or major road as beautiful and clean like this in Lagos. And am sure there is non even in whole Nigeria.

What annoys me most is when you see a road or drainage construction going on and after the construction work what you see is open drainage, rough and dirty road construction. And I just wonder when are we gonna have a beautiful town or city here in Lagos.

And am very sure the budget will be so so high for those unprofessional job

Eko atalantic is for rich folks. To achieve this beauty is not hard. Build good roads with side walks and covered drainage. The side walks can be built on top of the drainage. Plant green grass at the centre if its a dual road. Have functional street and traffic lights. You can even construct hard shoulders for cars to park or bicycle riders. Wash the streets and side work twice a week. These things are not difficult to achieve. If poor Jamaica can achieve it how much more nigeria.

But remember keke napep and okada guys will definitely create one illegal pack. This is common here in Lagos
