Technology Market*** SOLD****LIGHTLY Used Ritar Inverter Battery Sales :o by digi101(op):
I currently have 4 pcs of ritar 200AH 12v deep cycle batteries for sale.

Battery History:
The batteries were used in a lot of 15 pcs to backup mission critical equipment. They were installed for a year and swapped out based on the companies infrastructure maintenance program. I say the batteries were barely used because the company ran on generating sets and used the backup system to keep critical equipment alive during power transitions.

Battery Status:
All batteries have been charged and cycled with monitored performance showing the batteries are still in the 90% capacity range.

Terms of sale:
The batteries are being sold with a 48hr return policy (2 days). They will supplied already charged allowing buyers to immediately confirm there state by discharging and recharging them within the time frame.
I am based in Ibadan so sales in ibadan will be preferred, however sales to other areas can be handled if buyer is willing to bear the cost for transportation.

[b]PRICE: N25,000 EACH.

jamace: The purpose of the pix is to convince those of you who say, "Jonathan is not doing anything" and the aim has been achieved.

Jonathan is a new generation politician who is steering the country out of the grips of those old crooks who have been in power since the 70s. Those old school politicians enjoyed Nigeria and have now turned things upside down for the youths. Jonathan is the saviour of Nigeria. Those old crooks want to continue in power but not to prosper Nigeria.

For a progressive Nigeria, support Jonathan.
For a progressive Nigeria, support Jonathan? oga pls dont use the word PROGRESSIVE and JONATHAN together its an abuse of that adjective! progressive ko, ABOKI NI! .................abeg all u bottom wipers should not start this year o! Nigerians are sick and tired and we want CHANGE! PERIOD!
By the way can anyone tell us the terms of the award of this cloak and dagger contract? It was awarded in a questionable manner last year with no concrete details, all we know is the FG will be funding part of the project cost and yet the road will be operated under concession after completion

No one can really fantom what went down that led to to the liquidation of 6 million in terms of your clients funds, however the responsibilty is on you to do the honourable and right thing by reimbursing your clients for the funds in question. That said, i can imagine you may not have 6million lying around, i suggest you stop the peek a boo game and hold a joint discussion with your clients (like you proposed earlier), taking time to explain what went down (they deserve to know, no matter how crazy it may be),proposing a refund plan & listening to their responses. Theres no short cut to redemption here, and it wont be easy, but if your name is worth anything you'll see it through and come out stronger on the other side.

Goodluck

Nairaland GeneralSeun Please Nairaland Needs A Better Communication Process! by digi101(op): 12:38am On Dec 31, 2013
Hi Seun;

Nairalands PM system is in need of a desperate overall o. The process is really cryptic with really no advantages that i can see. If a fellow member wants to contact you, you get sent a mail via the site (i understand this part, i mean protecting the members email address) however when the member gets the mail there's no explanation concerning why this other member wants to contact you (because the system does not allow you to type in a brief introductory note sad ), therefore you really cant decide if you want to deal with the member or not, meaning you are forced to reply the mail.

Another thing, how about an app for Nairaland? that would make life much easier for a lot of folks, making it easier to follow threads with real time updates.

By the way thanks for a great forum grin

Technology MarketRe: Unreliable Cyberpower Inverters by digi101(m): 12:18pm On Dec 19, 2013
LUKINGUY: Hello All,

What will you advise an inexperienced new user of Inverter. I intend to buy 2.5kva inverter for 6 power safer bulbs, 2 ceiling fans, 32inches LCD, sound systems and a computer system.

I need efficient and cost effective power solution with good support.

Thank you
Hi LUKINGUY

There are a lot of good inverters out there from the basic cheap ones to the High priced sophisticated ones that can track almost every operating variable. Making a decision concerning which brand to go with involves you the user evaluating the following:

- Your Budget (This quickly allows you to screen the available brand by price)
- Are you a hands on person or not (this will determine what kind of install you should get, automated or manual adjustments)
- what is your total household load that will be running on the inverter (helps you size your system needs)
- How long do want the system to run for (helps determine the nos/capacity of batteries)
- what will be the primary source of charge for your battery bank (Determines your average charge time, which helps you determine the kind of charge current you expect from your inverter, or makes you aware of the need to purchase an external charger)

By the way, my advice never buy a locally built inverter.

The following are some of the brands i can recall of hand

Cheap (By cheap i mean low cost but they also get the job done): GXQ, luminous, bluegate, multipower, mustpower,

High price: Magnum, Xantrex, outback

i would advice you take a look at the solar fta thread, there's a lot of user reviews and knowledge there. In terms of support, if your system is installed properly, and used properly you really shouldn't need it, but a good thing would be to find out what the coverage for the item is before making your purchase.

All the best

ocelot2006: Wow....is that so? Tell u what, if you're so awesome at that, why dont you design and construct YOUR OWN UAV for all to see? Afterall, your toddler can do it? You really think its that easy huh?
Sir, i perceive you're the kind of person who does not know where the oil goes in a car. Its no big deal being that kind of person, its only a big deal when you make a mountain out of someone else being able to pour oil into a car engine, which unfortunately is a no brainer task for most folks.

PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by digi101(m): 2:58pm On Dec 18, 2013
Dee60: 1. Most of the things OBJ wrote bordered on national issues!

2. Many Nigerians think the facts stated were facts and were obvious even if they do not like the writer, OBJ

3. The 'oga' and his teams may not really have answers to the issues raised!

4. Perhaps, their only answer is to find a way to attack OBJ!

5. If indeed this letter by Iyabo was forged, then Nigeria really needs prayers.

6. In my own opinion, presidency in Nigeria has never been so lack-lustre, cold and pathetic.

7. Even EFCC is broke! Where is all the oil money then? Could Sanusi's facts about missing $49 billion be true!

Whether OBJ's family is good or bad? Whether Iyabo's letter or denial is true or false, is immaterial. We do not need any diversionary tactics (which look quite childish and silly). We need to think about Nigeria.

We need GEJ to work at saving Nigeria before it is too late, starting with sacking most of his deceitful aides! They are just deceiving him! Those media and social media aides particularly!
Gbam! couldnt have said it better
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Launches First Nigerian-Built Drone by digi101(m):
And this is the reason Nigeria is stuck in the rut.

All the praise singers that think every other person is a mumu please kindly answer the following:

The story alleges the drone was built in Nigeria - Now that would be worth celebrating even if the prototype was made out of tin cans! But this is obviously a assembled model. Lets cut the crap! Even my toddler will put one together given the proper kit. I am pissed at all the idiots that think mediocrity is worth celebrating. For Gods sake get a life and be a man! Speak up! if things are not the way they should be lets make our voice heard and demand for change and not just bend over as usual. If we paid millions of naira for this stupid weekend project how on earth will anyone eventually see the need for proper R & D? undecided

This country is really sick, not only from the audacity and brashness of our Lord & Master styled politicians but also from followers who are so passive that they make the pope look like an antagonist!

This thread makes me sick because it makes me feel there are more bum cleaners out there than i could possibly have imagined.

Quick Update

News reaching us indicate that Nigeria's first indigenous drone has successfully located the leader of the dreaded BOKO HARAM sect "Shekrau". The drones first assignment was a walk in the park as apparently Shekarau was located under the presidents seat discussing with a cell leader of alqeida during the launch of the drone at aso rock. Updates to follow soon...

Abeg somebody do us a favour and move this to the joke section angry
