Most of northerners in Lagos State did not vote during the presidential election.
In my area, I did not see any northerners voting.Even most of our Yoruba did not come out to vote because of the anger of cash scarcity.
I was the only person that came out to vote in my compound and we are much in the compound.

Life is puzzling.

Sometimes I wonder why our politicians steal so much. By God's grace, I became rich and graced to see hundreds of million. A few contracts here and there and a great career. But here comes a new problem. This doesn't excite me anymore. The next 10 million is not going to make my life any better. Promotion at work, increase in income, nothing excites me anymore and worse is that I am not materialistic at all, so acquiring gadgets, toys, or building mansions could never make me excited. I live a very simple life, wear basic quality fashion items, and drive simple cars. This is just my personality and not an act of humility.

Despite all the many good things that have happened in my life and all the things that I could potentially acquire. I am at a stage where I am really confused about myself.
Sometimes I buy unnecessary things I don't need just to feel like I am spending money. Other times, I am quick to assist deserving friends.

If you are not materialistic and yet, rich. How did you overcome this problem? This problem has left me in a state where I am neither happy nor sad.

Money is not making you happy because you are not the show off type. No doubt money block some sad mood you might be if you were poor, God forbid but when you think deeply, you will discover what can give you happiness.

In 2003, when he was the governor of Lagos State, OPC, under the leadership of Are Gani Adams and Dr Fedric Faseun, fought against the Hausa/Fulani in Lagos State, the Hsusas lost lots of people then. If you can remember vividly African China sang a song to that effect ( dem kill man ooo for inside Ajegunle, I I say I and you say P, Omo na you Sabi, dem kill man ooo for inside Ajegunle.)
That song was a reminder to the tribal war in Lagos State, under Tinubu. Thank God, for Obj, who mobilized forces to Lagos,to quell the war.
2023. drum of war, is been beaten again in the same Lagos State, when the same Tinubu, has been declared as Nigerian's president- elect.
There's the need therefore for him and other well meaning Lagosians and Yorubas to speak up and out over the impending altercation, before it gets out of control

Oga, there are other tribes in Lagos State, why igbos claiming Lagos is a no man's land, they are too arrogant. 1)The State won by Labour party indicates the cosmopolitan nature of that State

2) that the State won by Labour party have moved beyond tribalism religion and petty sentiments

3) that the sate won by Labour are more educated, Liberal and exposed people in that State
4) that even the osun state I thought will be tribalistic and filled with uneducated people was completely wrong
