Yes, as you rightly said '..... been informed'. Your source of information lacked evidence and did not emanate from the legitimate authorized source which is the referee in a democratic system as practiced.

Therefore, I advice you to conform and adherent to the constitution by obeying the ruling of the Ministry of Justice, the right and legitimate authorized source or system who through the highest court in the land (Supreme Court) had ruled that no land in Warri south West belongs to the Ijaws. This ruling was delivered by a Warri high Court 9/7/91964 and affirmed by the Supreme Court of Justice SC/450/65 which further laid the matter of the ownership of Gbaramatu enclave to perpetual rest.

Therefore, we can rightly say with the evidence on ground that the Ijaws in the 3 Warri Local Government area are tenants to the Olu of Warri and the people of Itsekiris.

Conclusively, I maintain according to the rule of law that Warri South West local Government is owned by the Itsekiris.

Note: One of the principle of right to Fair hearing is 'no man is a judge in his own case.

Well I've just been informed that Itsekiri don't even have an lga of their own. They are a slight majority in warri north and minorities in warri south and warri south West. So they are even more insignificant than I thought
the warri south west is the Tompolo lga and his younger brother has been the chairman for the past 3 terms. it is a no go area for Itsekiri.
the largest itsekiri town is Koko which looks more of a ghetto after it was decimated by the Ijaws in 1996. That is the Itsekiri hate Ijaw to date.

Point of correction, Itsekiri doesn't have local government of their own. Warri North with headquarters in Koko is 55% Itsekiri and 45%Ijaw.
Warri South West with local government in Ogbei Ijaw (an Ijaw town) is 55%Ijaw and 45% Itsekiri.
Then Warri south comprises Urhobo, Ijaw and Itsekiri.

Useless tribe, they are always playing the good boy but when the federal grants anything to appease the boys they will come out to shout that, Ijaws have Ijawlized Niger. When the fight for emancipation is ongoing, they will play the good boy game. they don't want to die, but ready to benefit from the outcome. This was how they ran away and claiming South South Oduduwa but when the amnesty was granted, they cried out that they were marginalized by the Ijaws in the amnesty program.

I know that some people would call me a ''Yoruba man'' or a Hausa man or slave.....or an APC propaganidist.....but here goes.

It seems the Niger Delta has a problem....and the problem is its own young people. They are , by blowing up their pipelines , attacking their own land and their own people.
'
They won't protest at the way that their governors have left them underdeveloped. For many years, the Niger Delta has gotten hefty allocations from the center....and yet the land remains underdeveloped. Yet....it is the oil companies....who spend millions on scholarships, and Community development projects, and who clean up the pollution at their own expense....that are the ones attacked.

The fact that we have a NDA also shows that the last 5 years of PDP rule...when we had a Niger Delta man in charge...were unmitigated failure. And it shows that the amnesty project did not even work.

I am sorry....but I have no sympathy for the Niger Delta Agitators. If they cannot agitate for good governance by their governors, and their LG chairmen, if they cannot agitate for even more action on pollution, if they cannot agitate for better schools.,and if they cannot agitate for their state governors to buy oil blocks under a JV programme....then they are just in it for the money.

I am sorry....but Nigeria should not pay any more danegeld. Enough is enough.

Niger Delta Avengers base not in Egbema—Ukori

As group asks Buhari to forget Tompolo and develop Niger Delta

By Emma Amaize & Perez Brisibe

WARRI—THERE is anxiety in the Niger Delta as the two-week ultimatum given owners of oil blocs in the region by Niger Delta Avengers to evacuate their staff and shut down operations ends today, while secret talks with the militant group have run into a hitch.

The militant group in a statement by its spokesperson, Col Murdoch Agbinibo on May 12, gave the former Minister of Defence, General Theophilus Danjuma (retd), former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other declared oil bloc owners two weeks to shut down operations or have themselves to blame.

Meanwhile, alleged talks between the Federal Government and an intermediary of Niger Delta Avengers on how to end hostilities in the region by the militant group have collapsed, while security agencies have allegedly concluded plans to infiltrate the meeting of Ijaw youths today in Warri to take a collective position on the Niger Delta Avengers.

A security source told our reporter: “All security operatives in the country are currently on their toes following security reports that the Niger Delta Avengers has promised to resume hostilities after the expiration of its two-week ultimatum.”

Niger Delta Avengers not based in Egbema

This came as the people of Egbema ethnic nationality in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State have refuted media reports that the new militant group, Niger Delta Avengers has its base in Egbema Kingdom, saying there was no iota of truth in the said publication.

Egbema people in a statement by Mr. Jude Ukori, yesterday, said whoever, said the base of the Niger Delta Avengers was in Egbema Kingdom should identify the location.

He noted that despite the fact that they were not getting benefits politically and economically from successive government as a major oil producing kingdom, they will never resort to unlawful acts.

According to him, “The author of the story could have at least mentioned one of the communities in Egbema Kingdom where such a base was situated. Since he failed to mention any, the publication was a wild allegation generated by criminals and mischievous persons in an attempt to drag the good name of Egbema people to the mud.”

Also, Niger Delta Peace Movement in Delta State, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to disregard the accusation by self-acclaimed whistle blowers that ex-militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, was behind the Niger Delta Avengers and explore a pragmatic solution to develop Niger Delta.

Buhari being misinformed

A statement by its president, Mr. Tonfa Cyprian, said: “These informants are misinforming Mr. President out of hatred for Tompolo and their bid to curry favour from him for their personal aggrandizement, but Mr. President can end the resurgence of militancy if he makes development of the region his priority.

“From careful observation of the pattern of attack by the militants’ on oil installations, it is obvious that it will be very difficult to contain their operations with force because they are very conversant with the terrain. The weapon to use is not force but development.

PORT HARCOURT— GOVERNOR Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will continue to remain a firm and united party in the country, noting that no single individual can destroy it. The governor in a statement by his media aide, Mr Simeon Nwakaudu said, that Senator Modu Sheriff made desperate move against the Port Harcourt, Rivers State convention of the party when it dawned on him that he was not qualified to contest for the office of national Chairman of the party by the result of the screening committee. He said: “We have seen that there is a hidden agenda. But nobody can destroy the PDP. PDP will wax stronger. Those around the former acting National Chairman have questionable character. They are people who think that they can use the judiciary to cause crisis. “In my entire political career , I have never seen a man with many opponents as Senator Sheriff. Modu Sheriff should apologise to the party,” Governor Wike noted

Eight out of the 12 former members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party say that they have
accepted the outcome of the party’s national convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, which dissolved their committee.
The development comes even as Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff is insisting that he remains the leader of the main opposition party.
Apart from Sheriff, the National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo, and the National Auditor, Alhaji Fatai Adeyanju, are also
insisting that that they are in office.
The three former officers are still contesting their removal from office from the Port Harcourt at the national convention in the
court.
The eight former members of the NWC said in a statement they jointly signed that they have resolved to support the party’s
national caretaker committee headed by a former Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi, to steer the affairs of the
party.
The statement was signed by the former Deputy National Chairman, Prince Prince Uche Secondus; Deputy National Secretary,
Mr. Onwe Solomon Onwe; National Legal Adviser, Mr. Victor Kwon and the National Woman Leader, Dr. Kema Chikwe.
Others include a former National Youth Leader, Abdullahi Maibasira; National Financial Seccretary, Bolaji Anani and the
National Treasurer, Alhaji Buhari Bala.
They said the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, whom they said was “indisposed on health grounds”,
had also agreed with the resolution.
It was however not clear why the National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Abubakar, did not sign the statement.
Like Makarfi, Abubakar is from Kaduna State.
The eight former officers of the party said that the national convention had the powers to dissolve the NWC and therefore, all
actions taken there were in order.
The statement said, “The National caretaker committee constituted by the national convention on May 21, 2016, is fully
within the powers of the national convention under section 33 (5) (e) of the party’s constitution.
“We recognise the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led national caretaker committee of the PDP and offer the committee all our
support and cooperation.
“As responsible and honourable party members who have had the privilege of serving the party at the highest level, we don’t
support and are not party to any suit, action or activity seeking to challenge the decisions of the national convention in
appointing the national caretaker committee or dissolving the former NWC, which had, at any rate, earlier agreed to go.
“In the absence of the then national chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, the then deputy national chairman of the
party, Prince Uche Secondus, presided over the convention in accordance with section 33 (1) (a), 35 (3) (b) of the
constitution of the party.”
