Search warrant are to be carried out between 6am to 6 pm except otherwise directed by the issuing judge or magistrate. Show us the warrant, this was how you guys lied about valid search warrant until ECOWAS court says the warrant was not a valid search warrant.

I have never heard in all my life where Supreme Court Justices are molested or arrested without warrant for crimes where the law says the suspect shall be arrested with enabling warrant. Mahmoud I voted for you but it seems you are not capable enough to defend the mandate imposed on you. I am giving you just 7 working days to stage an unending nationwide boycott of court by the bench and the bar or you will contend with me before a competent court of jurisdiction because it will amount to breach of trust on your part.

We must all stage a capital NO to schadenfreude, We must boycott courts until this gestapo style of fighting corruption or dictatorship is put to an end. What a nonsense that
JSC s will be disgraced this way because they ruled against your party. The law is sacrosanct, report them to NJC for possible
investigation.
This is full fledge dictatorship now in action. It is become a case of
anarchists in power. Clamping down of judges has been on for a long
time, through agents of government in the various institutions of
oppression. We are now back to the 1984 jackboot system of intolerance,
where all dissenting views and opinions must be silenced.
In a democracy and more especially in a nascent democracy like ours, the rule of law prescribes the independence of the
judiciary, whereby judges must be allowed the unfettered and unreserved right of taking
decision according to law and according to their consciences.

It was one of the points I started doubting PMB's anticorruption fight.Despite Wike seen and admitting visiting the CJN during the election trial and SR expose on the role okoro played, that d govt did nothing was the height of abetting of corruption in the judiciary.Other judges then simply sold their judgements to the highest political bidder wen they saw the govt was no different from others.
But why is justice Odili not amongst those arrested despite the confirmed role Wike himself admitted her husband played during the SC verdict ?Unless d govt is building a watertight case against her.

It is only Nigeria that this kind of nonsense can happen and some so called educated people will be defending it. Our prejudices are making us foolish in this country. People these days in the name of politics and democracy are behaving and defending stupidity.

When next any idiot tries to resist arrest or obstruct justice, they should discipline him or her. Enough of this nonsense.

What a shallow reasoning, let me start by educating you on jail terms:

1.Jail terms are spelt out in the enabling law
2. It is the prerogative of a judge to determine the number of years one to serve where there is no compulsory maximum jail terms.
3. A judge is duty bound not to sentence someone or accused to a jail term beyond that spelt out in the enabling law.
4. An act is an offence because the law says so, so why do you expect the judges to breach the provisions of such law by imposing more than required stated by such law

Politics / RECESSION: Nigeria’s Oil, Gas Reserves Running Out, NNPC Warns by dimieprincess(f): 6:51am On Oct 04, 2016
ABUJA—The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, yesterday,
painted a gloomy outlook for Nigeria’s economic fortunes, as it disclosed
that the country’s crude oil and gas reserves were fast depleting.
The NNPC in a statement in Abuja, therefore, begged oil and gas
exploration companies, professionals and other stakeholders to focus on
increasing the nation’s oil and gas reserve base to match national
aspirations to increase oil production.
Group Managing Director of
the NNPC, Mr. Maikanti Baru,
who disclosed this when the
Nigerian Association of
Petroleum Explorationists,
NAPE, hosted him in Abuja,
also expressed readiness of
the NNPC to partner with
stakeholders in the oil and
gas industry to grow the
nation’s fast depleting
reserves in order to increase
productivity in the petroleum
sector.
He said: “Our national gas
demand forecast to year
2020, domestic plus export,
indicates a rapid growth to 15 billion Standard Cubic Feet per day (bscfd),
meaning current reserves level can only sustain that production for 35
years, if we do not increase the 2bscfd gas reserves base which require
three trillion cubic feet (tcf) to replace production yearly.”
It was also revealed that the country’s drive for industrialization risks
being truncated, as Baru stated that the country’s aspirations were to
increase oil production to four million barrels per day and meet gas
demand of 15 billion standard cubic feet per day, bscfd, by 2020, required
for industrialization and consumption.
He further lamented that less than three per cent of all oil wells drilled in
the Niger Delta Basin, both onshore and swamp, were deeper than 15,000
feet, adding that a greater number of these wells had not gone beyond the
10,000 feet as a high pressure regime seemed to be a limiting factor.
However, he stated that “some of our earlier drilled non-commercial holes
could be turned around if we deploy requisite technologies; we need to
change our perspective of risk as technology is advancing.”
Baru further explained that the 2016 national average oil production of 1.9
million barrels was low, partly due to oil infrastructure vandalism.
He stressed the need for stakeholders to share data and use common
available resources to reduce cost of operations in the area of rig-sharing,
vessel sharing and synergy in projects development, adding that this had
become even expedient in this era of low oil prices and security
challenges.
On frontier exploration, Baru said the NNPC was progressing in exploration
efforts in the Chad Basin, the Benue trough and other frontier basins to
shore up the reserve base of the country.
In his own presentation, NAPE President, Mr. Nosa Omorodion, said the
association was ready to support NNPC in its drive to grow reserves
towards increased production in all the frontier basins.

Politics / Don’t Support Buhari Blindly, Shehu Sani Tells Arewa Forum by dimieprincess(f): 6:00pm On Oct 03, 2016
The senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, on Monday cautioned the northern socio-political group, Arewa
Consultative Forum, on its support for the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
Mr. Sani spoke on Monday when he received the executive members of the Kaduna State chapter of ACF, led by its
chairman, Ramalan Yero.
“ACF should not be like the people of Niger Delta who will support whatever decisions taken by their leaders because
they are their own,” Mr. Sani said.
“ACF should support the government where it is right and should also talk where the government goes wrong. What
remains for us as northerners is, we must tell ourselves the truth.”
Mr. Sani said it was high time that the northern part of the country improved on education, agriculture and other sectors
of the economy.
He urged the ACF to monitor the implementation of government project in the region.
“It is mandatory for associations like the ACF, to call us as the elected leaders of our people to know what has been
earmarked for the education, agriculture, industries etc. for the benefit of northerners.
“As at now, all the legacies left behind by the late Sardauna of Sokoto are either in comatose, or they are all dead
entirely,” he said.
“For the north to progress one, education, must be revived so that the sons and daughters of the masses can obtain sound
and qualitative education. Our ailing industries must be revived. Peasant farmers must be given subsidy.
In his address, Mr. Yero, who is also the father of the immediate past governor of the State, said the forum had a
number of activities on skills acquisition, vocational training, capacity building and leadership development
programmes in the three Senatorial zones of the State.

Politics / APC Criticises Aregbesola’s Visit To Fayose by dimieprincess(f): 3:05pm On Oct 03, 2016
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised an eyebrow over Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s weekend visit to Governor Ayodele Fayose in Ado-Ekiti, saying such a visit to Ekiti State is a slight on APC and contempt for the party’s leadership in the state.

Aregbesola was in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday on invitation of Fayose for the 20th Year Anniversary of Ekiti State.

At a public forum broadcast live on the state media, Aregbesola described Fayose as “omoluabi” and a hardworking governor who had turned around the fortunes of Ekiti State in terms of infrastructure.

Social media reports also quoted Aregbesola as saying that “Fayose is a reliable person” and that in spite of political differences, he and Fayose shared many things in common, while also reportedly saying that “sooner than later, there will be realignment of forces”.

Scuffing at the visit in a statement by the Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, the party described Aregbesola’s visit to Fayose as a slight on APC, stressing that it signposted the contempt into which the party and its leaders were held by the Osun governor after Fayose had caused severe pains in the lives of APC members, some of whom had been languishing in jail for about two years for the offences they did not commit.

He said: “Aregbesola’s visit to Fayose praising him as ‘omoluabi’ and for the achievements by APC-led government is not alone embarrassing but also awful in the face of sustained attacks on APC members, some of whom are still languishing in jail for about two years over trumped-up charges by Fayose.

“It is shocking that Aregbesola as a governor and one of the leading lights in APC in the South West and indeed the nation would be visiting Ekiti State without putting the leaders into confidence, more so on a visit to a man who once wished the President dead and had done unbelievable things both in Nigeria and abroad to bring Buhari’s government down.

“Worse still, Aregbesola was praising the man who will stop at nothing to bring APC-led Federal Government down after several years of failed attempts by the progressives to win the presidency of Nigeria.”

Olatunbosun also frowned at alleged misappropriation of APC’s authority with the Osun governor promising realignments of forces with Fayose “sooner than later”, saying such “unbridled” trading off of APC in Ekiti State to Fayose would never stand in the face of the governor’s molestation of APC members over the years.

“We find it most embarrassing and shocking that one of our leaders would be planning a re-alignment of forces with a governor that has made life a nightmare for our members, the same members that will participate in the said re-alignment that Aregbesola is talking about, without sparing a thought for members held in jail unjustly while other APC members are routinely attacked by Fayose’s men on the streets.

“We also find it spiteful that Aregbesola would sit with Fayose on this same programme where the latter berated Buhari to no end, including describing the President’s programmes as a theory that is compounding problems for Nigerians,” he said.

Warning that the state leaders would resist any attempt to draft the governor into any realignment with APC in the state and foist him on the party, Olatunbosun noted that Fayose had done enough damage to the integrity of Ekiti people, saying that now was the time for the real “omoluabi” in Ekiti to join forces to rebuild the ruins into which Fayose’s administration had left the state.

Politics / Re: Photo Of President Buhari 'Teasing' A Waitress by dimieprincess(f): 12:26pm On Oct 03, 2016
chieveboy:
Buhari is drinking water instead...subtle actions of Buhari... The following statement is a constant regardless of its application:

When 'a truth' (Buhari) meets with falsehood(Nigeria's past), a bitter battle must occur; When principle (buhari) meets with the unprincipled (Nigeria's present), a bitter battle must occur...the process is purification...and the end is the lessons we must all learn.

This applies whether you create another state, run to another country...you can run but you can't hide from yourself...you are all you got to deal with in the whole wide world. #changebeginswithyou...always always!
Buhari drinking water is by no means a show of integrity or modesty, he is doing or taking that because of his age. Diabetes is a friend of nobody and aged people are prone to it.

Secondly, in order to prevent Aisha from playing away match under his nose, he needs to stop taking sugary things.

My advice, don't get it twisted!!!
Politics / Timi Frank Writes Buhari, Says #changebeginswithme Must Start In APC by dimieprincess(f): 12:21pm On Oct 03, 2016
By Omeiza Ajayi
ABUJA – Acting National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives
Congress APC, Comrade Timi Frank has written an open letter to President
Muhammadu Buhari, saying if Nigerians must key into his recently-
launched social reorientation campaign, #ChangeBeginsWithMe, and the
president must kick-start the process from within the APC.
Frank was again reacting to the face-off between the national chairman of
the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and one of its national leaders,
Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu who had accused the chairman of
mishandling the Ondo state governorship primary election of the party.
“It is worthy to note that today, we are witnessing the same concerns and
fears being expressed by one of the founding fathers of our great party,
who also doubles as a national leader agreeing with my earlier call that
Chief Oyegun should resign as the National Chairman.
“This allegation of bribery raised by Asiwaju Tinubu as regards the recent
Ondo governorship primaries should be of concern to all well-meaning
party leaders and elders and should not be swept under the carpet or
taken with levity. This weighty allegations should and must be properly
investigated because of course “there is no smoke without fire”. Mr.
President sir, you recall the launch of the “Change Begins With Me
Campaign” a fortnight ago, where we were admonished to lead by
example, and I dare say that this change must start from within the party
so that Nigerians can follow suit”, he said.
According to him, “Chief Oyegun has shown that he lacks the capacity to
resolve all the crisis currently rocking our party in nearly all the states of
the federation. Not even personal grudges and rifts between party
members, egg Senator Shehu Sani vs. Gov. El rufai in Kaduna, or Senator
Kwankwaso vs. Gov Ganduje in Kano, Senator Goje vs. Senator Nafada in
Gombe, and lastly the rift between late Chief Audu’s family against Gov.
Yahaya Bello of Kogi state. The crisis rocking the Bayelsa state APC which
is also divided against itself as well as Delta, Ondo and Ogun states are
visible examples to mention a few”.
Part of the letter read;
“In the words of Ola Rotimi in The Gods are not to Blame, “When a
chameleon brings forth a child, it is not the child that is expected to
dance. Yes, the king should act as a king.” The recent outburst by one of
our founding fathers and a National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
against the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun seems to be
threatening the smooth sail and peaceful coexistence of our great party
the All Progressives Congress (APC) and if nothing is done urgently, them
I’m afraid “the pot left on the fire will definitely burn.”
“Mr. President sir, I wish to reiterate my earlier stand on this matter and
I’m also elated that I’ve been vindicate in my struggle to save our party all
the while, when so many thought of me as a rebel or paid apologist. It is
therefore no secret that I was one of the very first persons in the party who
took the bull by the horns and openly raised the alarm of urgent issues
which had to be addressed in other to steer the APC ship in its right
course. Suffice to say that all my efforts to plead with the party leadership
to redirect its affairs fell on deaf ears as no one took me seriously at the
time.
“You may recall Mr President, that the origin of this crisis began when the
issue of the National Assembly leadership arose and the decision of the
party at the time against party members, especially against the Senate
President and Speaker of the House of Representatives. I foresaw the
impending cracks at the time when the party leaders ignored the injustice
against these two persons and I subsequently raised viable concerns
which still fell on deaf ears.
“Again, when I raised concerns against the manner in which Chief Oyegun
handled the conduct of the Bayelsa state governorship primaries that
produced the APC candidate, no one listened to me, and alas the outcome
of that election became a clear testament to my alleged fears.
Subsequently, when my immediate boss, Alhaji Lai Mohammed became
the Minister of Information, I was supposed to immediately fill in the gap
and act in his stead as enshrined in our party constitution as the Acting
National Publicity Secretary of the party, but this was not to be as I was
outrightly being persecuted for reasons unknown and perhaps for selfish
interest. I was deprived of performing my duties and my duties assigned
to themselves.
“Mr. President sir, the episode of the recent Ondo primaries is just one
case too many befalling the APC under the leadership of Chief Oyegun and
I’m therefore challenging Chief Oyegun to tell Nigerians if he has been able
to mediate over any crisis that has been successful. As far as I am aware,
APC under Oyegun has not been able to resolve any crisis in the party
since we became the ruling party.
“Mr. President sir, I’m aware you may not have forgotten hurriedly your
experience under Chief Oyegun’s chairmanship in the defunct All Nigerians
People’s Party (ANPP) that eventually led to the series of events which
saw your exit from the party, and this same man is at it again.
“It is said that “A stitch in time saves nine”. I recall how we raised similar
concerns when the PDP was still PDP under Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. This
warnings were of no effect even as things got worse daily; suffice to say
that the appeal from party leaders to former President Jonathan to act,
yielded no result as he acted rather late and the result is the very obvious
which is still bedevilling the PDP up until this day.
“It is no longer news today that so many leaders of the APC are aggrieved
as a result of the handling of party affairs by Chief John Oyegun. Injustice
has become the order of the day, whilst so many leaders and party faithful
might be contemplating an exit from the party if nothing is done urgently
to salvage the already sour taste. I’m aware that in a swift reaction to Sen
Bola Tinubu’s outburst, former Vice President and chieftain of the APC
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, pointed out vividly that the party leadership is
expected to be guided always by respect for the rules, fairness, equity,
neutrality and respect for democratic consensus. We must therefore be
bold to say that these principles may not be found in the dictionary of
Chief Oyegun.
“Six months down the line after the last NEC meeting, Chief John Oyegun
has not deemed it necessary to call for either the caucus meeting, BoT,
NEC or any other leadership meeting to discuss issues of national
importance and those confronting our great party. This clearly is in sharp
contrast with the party’s constitution, which states in article 25 b( i) that
“the National Executive Committee shall meet every quarter and or at any
time decided by the national chairman or at the request made in writing by
at least two-third of the members of the National Executive Committee
provided that not less than fourteen (14) days notice is given for the
meeting to be summoned.”
“In the light of the aforesaid therefore, I am appealing to Mr. President to
immediately direct Chief John Oyegun to summon an emergency NEC/
BOT and Caucus meeting which will enable the party leadership to sit face
to face to confront and resolve all pending issues before our great party,
whilst finding a lasting solution, moving forward.
“Finally Mr. President, I am appealing to you that this open letter be
treated with all sincerity of purpose to enable us surmount our challenges
as a party. It must be noted that with a strong, vibrant and indivisible
party, we will together achieve our dream of queuing behind your able
leadership in delivering the much needed change to Nigerians. I am
therefore optimistic that this open letter will serve as the yardstick of the

ABUJA—SENATOR representing Kaduna Central on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Shehu Sani, has expressed fears that the ongoing hardship Nigerian citizens were facing as a result of recession might result in revolution against the government. To avert such development, Sani advised that the issue be well handled by those in positions of authority, especially the Federal Government, warning that violation of the advice could result in unpredictable circumstances. He said the revolution would not only be against the current administration, but also those who held sway in the past. Sani, who spoke in Abuja, weekend, to mark the country’s 56th Independence anniversary, said the recession might end up being the ignition Nigerians had been waiting for over the years to fight their leaders. He noted that bad governance had cost the country over $3 trillion oil monies in frivolities within the last 56 years by successive governments. According to him, one of the ways of fighting the recession is for the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to enlarge the scope of its anti-corruption war beyond Jonathan’s administration to others before it, with the sole purpose of recovering the nation’s monies and resources stolen by corrupt-minded past administrators. He said: “We are in recession, but the recession must be tackled headlong by the Federal Government and all stakeholders in the polity towards getting out of it very quickly or else, it may lead to revolution. “The 2015 election supposed to have ushered us into a new hope of unity and progress. But there are a lot of mistakes that have been made in the last one year. “One of the corrections is the need for us to look forward in terms of bringing our people to the Promised Land and not look backward on crises we faced in the past.”

But why are the PDP concerned over Ondo APC? people that are not in Ondo state even write here as if they sleep and wake in Ondo state. If you are in Ondo state you won't ask me to vote for mimiko and his boys again. Mimiko collects state allocation, collects Local government allocation and also collects crude oil allocation, Ondo state account for about #30b, a month, our yearly allocation is about #140b and you are comparing Ondo state with other states, Please don't just compare Ondo state with other states. Mimiko has enslaved Ondo state people. Any students in Ondo state that will vote for mimiko and his boys come next month is an educated illiterate.
Liar Mohammed self nor reach you for lie, even Akwa Ibom for the past 1yr never get 20b for allocation let alone Ondo. ala ri wo
