Slim, i didn't say we should replace a 'main star' djourou with a 'understudy' smalling. I was only trying to stress the obvious,that our defenders are of piss poor quality. In my previous post, i mentioned vidic, kompany,terry who i think are quality defenders, so its not like i stopped at smalling. I wanted to emphasise the quality of defenders a trophy contending club like ours parades. Once again, Smalling is better than Djourou and better than kos and sqills by extension (after all djourou is our best defender).

I think,like debo said, †нє team lacks quality i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ certain crucial areas. Like LB. Clichy is just not qualified. He wouldn't even be second choice i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ Manure or even City. Same applies to our central defense. Djourou, 'our best defender' is NOT as good as SMALLING, not to talk of †нє likes of Ferdi, vidic, alex, terry, luiz or Kompany. Personally, I like Kosceilny but if you all say Djourou has been our 'best' defender, then he (kos) is also underqualified. Sagna is †нє only 'trophy-worthy' defender we had all season long. That we aя̩̥̊ε̲̣̣̣̥ even 3rd And conceeded not A̶̲̥̅̊ lot (relative to other teams on †нє table) is A̶̲̥̅̊ miracle. AW shoulda signed veteran/ EPL tested defenders for his first team at least. Someone like squillaci playing for arsenal is A̶̲̥̅̊ sign of disrespect from Aw to †нє arsenal fans. You rarely see A̶̲̥̅̊ good manager bring i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ A̶̲̥̅̊ completely new defender for his first team. its shameful that we eventually conceed the 2nd spot to chelsea. We are so good a team, yet too weak to win. It says it all when a chelsea team without bite slowly catch up with us on the table, now we aren't even sure of the 2nd spot on that table.
Winning is all that matters. So our excellent (yes, we are that good) team isn't prospering. In yesterday's game, Diaby was shyte in my opinion. Knowing wilshere was on the bench even worsened the feeling. Every other person on the start line up wanted to win.
Credit to RvP. No one else will score as many goals 4 months into a new year. Let's forget the title and savour the sweet stuff. I love our game and what I love I love.

Does the Verminator need any warm up games? that guy na d kind player wey dey in form by default,lol. Buh seriously,I am itchin to see Verm at the back again. I dunno how we coped for 31 games without one of the better performers of last season. Djourou, Kos and even squills deserve credit. The goal-against figures shows we have the second best defense in england, with Verm out. Verm coming back means more goals (dude was like the highest scoring defendin defender in england last season), less penalty kicks for opposing teams (kos won't be there to dish out stewpid penarities), and more team stability,confidence cum determination.

As per the game with l'pool, we have to play well to continue our impressive run against the reds. They have Carroll, suarez and meireles who I rate very high. If we can take 3 points, manure will come under pressure and possibly drop points.
