coogar: Perfect excuse for what? Vermaelen is over-rated, u should have followed that up with 'IMO'. Sire, could you please define 'a great season' ? The number of goals he scored alone is enough to say he had a great season |

^^ True enough. I think that was the only time tho. Point is his skinny frame isn't stopping him being a good defender |
Music/Radio / Re: Best Femcee (Female Rapper) In Nigeria - Muna Vs Eva by dipo2much(m): 5:09pm On Jul 31, 2011 |
Honestly, I cant forking believe that I have to reiterate this. Even Eva knows she dare not imagine herself being called best female rapper. Whoever thinks Eva is on the same level as Blaise clearly doesn't even know Blaise. Muna is very cool, I love her style. Eva, is mecurial, today she is cool, tomorrow she sounds like a novice. I also remember her lifting rhymes on that amillie version of hers. Blaise is queen of rap in Nigeria. Even the male mc's bow. Braggin' Rights with Freestyle is a evergreen CLASSIC. |

Spent the last 30mins looking for this word. Anachronism. Alas, i get to use it Dips describing Song as an arsenal player in 1995 was an anachronism . Debosky should mark my scripts abeg. Ibime: Many of Kos's tackles that got punished for were clearly harsh calls. His second yellow card against Liverpool in the opening game of last season was harsh and so was the booking that gave Newcastle that second penalty that game that ended 4-4. Kos may be skinnier than Dayokanu, but I have never seen him loose as a result of been overpowered. For me, I cant ask anything else from the guy. Clearly, you see a determination of a hardworker in him and that what every player must have |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by dipo2much(m): 12:13pm On Jul 31, 2011 |
@ibime Bros, u murdered english. How dare you put Koscielny, Djourou and Squills in †нє same sentence. You F up, wahalai. Kos shouldn't appear in †нє same sentence as Dj and Squills. Song wasn't always as he is. Around '95, when he wasn't as established, i remember cursing him as he lost possession repeatedly during games. I almost despised him back then |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by dipo2much(m): 7:56am On Jul 31, 2011 |
I am excited that Djourou's inept at the back line is now been underscored. I hammered it severally even during Djourou's purple patch last season that KOS IS A BETTER DEFENDER THAN DJOUROU. Kos is REALLY good. Yes, that good. Last season was more of unexpected baptism of fire for him as Wenger clearly stated that he wasn't expected to play more than 20 games, and he ended up playing way more. He is definitely going to be a improved defender this season. As it stands, Verm and Kos is our best combi. Anyone who thinks differently really has a bias in his thinking Frimpong is clearly trying hard to impress. He isnt on the level of song yet as some of his tackles yesterday were far from neat. But he is the energetic type, probably even more strong than Song. He needs to work of his technique too. Song still sheets on his like sagna does Jek. Gervinho is gonna do havoc on that right side of the emirate stadium this season. Many left backs will be humiliated. MANY ,i say. Arshavin will suffer if he doesn't up his game. KOS all the way. I tip him to have a great season |

Arsenal are prepared to sell Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona for less than £40m - but only if 20-year-old midfielder Thiago Alcantara is included in the deal. Full story: Metro If barcelona don't accede to this then I think they aren't really interested in Fab. This is as fair as it gets. An eye for an eye. To bare the loss of the best midfielder in england, we need someone with big potential, and I think alcantara would suffice |

Music/Radio / Finally Famous Vs Thank Me Later by dipo2much(m): 12:36pm On Jul 23, 2011 |
Ok. Just got back around and I haven't been listening to a lot of rap albums lately. I just downloaded Big Sean's album and I can't seem to stop listening. Been seeing his name here and there but really didn't even think dude was even half this good. Its clearly the best rap album around right now and considering the hype that surrounded some eagerly anticipated album's like Thank Me Later that really didn't live up to expectation, this one is simply top-notch. I think Big Sean's cd is better than Drake's Thank Me later. What d u rap lovers think? So many wonderful talents out there. I didn't know about Big Sean like a month ago |

Kay-Dee: What if the club unveils one without a squad number slimshay: Jah bless you. Later some fullish playhaters will come here and say Chamakh isn't this or that. Even if chamakh scored just 1 goal last season, signing him was a far better deal than the Torres rip-off. Just asking, how much is Fernando Torres worth right now? Maybe £7.5M |
Education / Re: Preparing for GRE by dipo2much(m): 11:21am On Jul 20, 2011 |
Thread too quite. Now that the GREs are taking a different form commencing from Aug 1st, new revised materials should be made availabe. For now, its only the PrepsoftII that's available on †нє GRE site that seems to be in tune with the new form of the exams. I will be taking the new form of the exams soon and will be buying textbooks cos studying soft copies will be limited to electricity supply. Anybody seen hard copy barrons that cater for the new GRE form? |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by dipo2much(m): 5:57pm On Jul 14, 2011 |
Djorou dis, djorou dat! Una no dey tire? Dude has been wit arsenal for dayokanu years and he hasn't had just one full season worthy of commending all his life. Seeing him in post january games was just humiliating. He could hardly clear a ball even when unopposed. I give him credit tho cos he did so well before january, but usually you expect consistency from CBs more. They don't cover as much distance as †нє wingers and fullbacks and they are more in †нє giving end of tackles, so why can't a relatively young djorou be consistent? If we didn't capitulate so early in our title challenge, that's how djorou would have let us down when we needed him most. Y'all may disagree with me but i am so sure that Kos will eventually come good. Many forget that last season was his first in this league and he wasn't playing in a very competitive league before now. And for fair expectations, he had a good season tho he has a lotta room for improvement. His mistake on CC final is pardonable. I am a big fan of Kos. He isn't your conventional strong looking CB but he concentrates well and has mental strength. And he is very intelligent too, djorou could be daft attimes, sorry. Kos and Verm will form a formidable force. Tho, at this point it'll be perfect to get a more reliable partner for TV5. I am also concerned about the LB positions. Teams will see that place as a weak point and will penetrate us badly. Gibbs, traore (my God!) aren't up to it. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by dipo2much(m): 7:59pm On Jul 12, 2011 |
What disgusts me most is that Traore name that comes up. Wahalai, dat guy na apere for LB. Seeing him as part of the team alone gets my goat. Or is it not the same traore? He will never be a decent LB. He should be trying left wing position. @slim. I put want-away in quotes that time. You, I and even Donkeykanu definitely want Squills out of arsenal, so in some sense he is want away. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fans Thread (for Arsenal Fans) by dipo2much(m): 8:48am On Jul 12, 2011 |
Well, it appears AW was never serious about getting that CB we have been agitating for. Its a foregone conclusion that Cahill isn't coming (too expensive), samba doesn't seem to interest AW as much as he does us fans, and 'want-away' Squills' skills aren't impressing any football team enough to even bid =N=1M. So with Verm, Kos, djorou and Squills (and the young reserves players) it appears we are already paying enough weekly wages on central defence alone. If we can't offload squills, then maybe AW won't sign any T-Rex CB as we have been hoping for. Here we go again. And we haven't even replaced clichy yet. I think we are so F U C K E D. We have only Verm as our decent CB. Kos comes close but isn't the package yet, and Djourou and Squills are complete wastes. Doomed, we are. |
Business / Re: A Narrow Escape (ATM Story): Please Read And Be Informed! by dipo2much(m): 8:14am On Jul 12, 2011 |
Everyone of us has to be very observant at ATMs. Being an electronic system, there will always be loopholes that the criminal will doing their researches to find. We must all take it upon ourselves to comb the ATM machine before inserting ur card. Its ur money afterall, u owe urself a responsibility of trying to safeguard it. The bank may try, but the nature of a machine is it could still be compromised |

@antonion. Well, i guess you have to use intuition in choosing that glamour girl. You can only do your best, some chicks will still be carried away by a richer guy's wealth. But many others just want to be comfortable, cared for, and not cheated on. |
