A fee hyke to this companies is a fee hyke to Nigerians, let's watch it as the Buhari price increase of virtually everything continues daily.

Are you dreaming of starting a logistic business, how do you feel about this?

NIPOST, the managers of our good old “Post Office” recently released a memo that might change how delivery businesses run. The memo list new license fees that logistic companies must pay in order to run their businesses legally.

The Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) is a unit under the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy. NIPOST has offices in almost every city in the country and is where locals usually go to send mail and receive parcels.

According to the memo, international courier services like DHL, FEDEX and UPS are required to pay a fee of 20m Naira for a new license and 8m annually for renewal. The next category (Logistics with the country), are required to pay 10m Naira and 4m Naira for annual renewal. For regional delivery, companies will pay 5m Naira and 2m Naira for renewal. NIPOST listed 6 categories of courier and logistics companies. Below is an image of the memo gotten from the internet.

Earlier this year, a move by the Lagos state government to ban motorcycle taxi (Okada) meant a total U-turn for startups running motorcycle taxi. Companies like Gokada, Opay and Max had their own apps that connect Okada riders with passengers.

In the case of call waiting, it can only be activated when the receiver has picked up or when the receiver's phone has started ringing. In order words, the signal has been sent from your phone to the satellite and the satellite has sent a signal to the receiver's phone.

But when you are calling your own number, just like you rightly said, the satellite is sending signal but signal cannot get to to your phone cos you Cannot be sending and receiving simultaneously, hence Call waiting cannot be activated, because the call has not connected in the 1st place, so there is no call that is waiting for the 1st call.

The op missed that. But I feel SIM 1 should be able to call SIM 2 on some devices

Whats the best Xiaomi device I can get for 100k?

Currently using opera mini...

My best browser for Nairaland actually. Since the site has no fancy designs.

I loved opera so much that I optimized my site to work smoothly on the browser.

Mobile browsing started with stock browsers on our old featured phones. Later we got third party browsers like Opera Mini, Bolt and UC.

We are currently in the age of powerful smartphones that are capable of running Web browsers like Chrome, Safari and Mozilla Firefox.

Is usage of Opera Mini going down? Going by data of monthly visitors on my site recently, Chrome has the highest number and Opera Mini seats second. 5 years ago Opera Mini has the highest number and nearly 10x more than the second browser Chrome.

Do you still use Opera Mini? Do you find how it removes fancy animations and other heavy stuff from Web pages you visit on your phone helpful ?
