I live in PHC, work in GRA. how come i did not see this? there are only two major roads in PHC,Aba road and Ikwere road, this two road are always having trafic congestion everyday. the visit of the first lady may have increased the congestion but its not far from our normal day to day congestion.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Launches First Locally-built Motorcycles by dirifred(m): 10:11am On Jun 18, 2013
bolaino: Well I fail to see the significance of this new development, since most states are gradually putting a ban on motorcycle usage, so I wonder how this helps the poor people it's supposed to help, and the Nigerian government should seek of ways to secure employment for our teeming youths, instead of hoping they would take to riding okada, I love this country, but Nigeria sucks.
The ban is on commercial moto-bikes. private users can still buy. I see ur point, the ban will greatly affect sales for the new 9ja bike.

He takes enough time to weigh all options and come out with a very sound decision. No hasty reactions at all. He is not Judgemental. He is truelly a democrat. what i love most about him is that ' He takes the best decision at all times even if the decision gives a chance for the opposition to try to make him unpopular'.

This mindless talking of sopposed mature people is the reason i our politicians are dull, they just say crap and there are willing messengers to spread it for free without thinking.
If majority of Nigerian will just think a little about what our politician say, we will have a better polity, the politician will at least think before they talk.

Sealeddeal: With this courageous act from Borno youth,Borno state will soon be rid of terrorist. Even though this move from the youth is commendable, govt should put plans ahead to rehabilitate these youths and give them jobs after the must have,in conjunction with FG/Military, cleansed Borno of Boko haram;this is to avoid error that can bring recurrence of terror.
What are the elders doing? suporting the same people the youth are fishing out.

Since ACN joined APC they have been more infected with thier religion of hate. haters just hate even for no reason

Politics / Re: North's Population Figures Is Not A Fraud-(a Reply To Asari Dokubo) by dirifred(m): 12:32pm On May 11, 2013
ebamma: i woke up this morning, trying to catch up with latest news in nigeria, when i came across this thread.www.nairaland.com/1286629/northern-population-fraud---asari-dokubo.
Where the ex militants asari dokubo said that norths population figures are exaggerated
Mr dokubo norths population ain't a fraud, the population of northern nigeria is three to four times the population of the south.
Majority of hausa girls of 15 to 16yrs old are a married women, whereas majority of igbo or ijaw southern women are still in school at that age, and marry when the are in their late twenties or early 30's.
By the time an igbo woman who married at 26 or 30yrs of age has a child, the hausa girl who married at 16 or 17yrs of age has already had more than 5 children. You can do the maths if it involves just 1000 hausa women to 1000 igbo or ijaw women.
Another factor is the polygamy factor a middle class hausa man can marry upto 4 wives according to his religion's decree, whereas an igbo or ijaw man is okay with one wife,
Another factor is bride price, a hausa man can do a small marriage of 100 to 200k, which makes it affordable to many hausamen to marry,
So putting all this factor together, i can proudly tell u that north's population is higher than the south's, Mr Asari Dokubo i hope u are reading this.

you carefully avoided Infant mortality which is very high as a result of no care(Almajeri),
Women dying during and after child-birth because they are not mature enough for child-birth
poverty and malnutrition killing them like they have no leaders,
wide spread of diseases among others
if northern leader are not scared of our true data and population, they will allow biometric sensus.
they will also allow the indication of religion on the sesus data.
Also my dear brother, with love in my heart i advice you dig deep for information so you can make informed statements
But you and I know that they are too scared to allow that, thats where they claim their non-existent political strenght

what is their manifesto? what will they do differently? I rather continue with GEJ unless the opposition bring a credible presidential aspirant and an achievable Agenda

GeneralJ: Before i start i just want to give ALL THANKs to BABA GOD, thank you ohh for letting me get this position today, on a holy sunday, i appreciate you ohh opee ohh,
Back to the topic, Well yes democracy will fail, because PDP goons always misuse opportunity, and they can turn another election of PDP contestant into a tyranny, i urge every Nigerian to vote for at least another party please, PDP neeeds to take a break from leading this country, they have taken too much from the coffers of this country, lets try something new.

You sound so childish, what are the basis for which you make your assumption that Nigeria will fail? who is the candidate of the other party you are canvassing for already? what will he do differently?
This politics of spreading fear is the major reason i believe the opposition parties are sponsoring BOKO HARAM.
Tell those politicians u sympathise with to come forth with good manifesto, good agenda and people may start loving them.
this childish attitude of attacking PDP is not working, let them say what they will do differently.
