Thank you to everyone who has been doing well in giving insights and answers to different questions posted here. It's greatly appreciated.

I will like to ask if anyone knows if the UKVI checks on if a company that gives recommendation letter to a staff who is applying for student Visa is active on CAC site or not?

The applicant did a priority application and has done biometrics more than a week ago(21st Dec), though it was just 3 days he got to know his employer's company is inactive on CAC. Hope it can't lead to a refusal?

Also, he got a generic "Not straightforward mail" without asking for any further information or documents a day after Bio and hasn't heard anything again from them and application is still at DMC.

Kindly help by giving insights into the questions, thank you so much...Cheers

My company was inactive and I have gotten my visa, I don't think it is a big deal.

For me priority is a waste of money.
Most people with priority don’t even get their visa in 5 days.
Many standard get it faster than even priority
Keep your money
Advice from experience tho

You have to make another payment it happened to me, I had to make another payment and I ask my bank for reversal. Please us the Google pay on the platform

From my observation, I noticed majority of applicants make use of IOM for their TB best. What of Qlife and St Nicolas hospital and others.

What if; up until the date of applied the exchange rate was good and after you applied the next day the exchange rate rose are you still safe?

UKVi uses the date of your application to determine the rate... if the money you have on your POF Tallies with the rate on the date of your application you are good if not pay more school fees

You will need to pay more school fees.... xchange rate is not friendly right now...God help us all

During my Visa application (main applicant), I was to pay IHS fee of 1,198usd, which I did paid but on getting to that of my hubby ( dependent), he's to pay 2,396 USD which is twice of mine. What could be wrong pls?

Check the date you input for your visa expiry date..That date is used ti determine your fee

Try Google pay option, I was debited twice and yet to get a refund from UBA. Use the Google option on the platform....

Just do it, you might be asked at same time you might be asked.... just do it to avoid story

I have gone to my bank today to discuss with them about the international web transaction..they said there's no way I can use my savings account to pay ,that I'll have to open a domiciliary pounds account..pls is there a way out of this.

Just get someone to help you pay and I hope it is successful, UBA debited 1800usd and I'm yet to receive it.

No, I paid for IHS on the 6th of December, MY POF is 33,677£.
When I started my POF I only needed 17.6m Naira and I had 18m Naira in my bank statements, As at today POF required is 18.250M Naira.

Please I need help concerning mY POF, OANDA rate has made my POF to increase by 260,000 Naira and my biometric is on Monday. Has any one experience this kind of issue and Visa was approved.?

Your Naira won't work unless you goto your bank to activate to for international WEB transactions, That is the new CBN directive.

Yes, it was blocked generally to avoid fraudulent transactions, That is the new directive from CBN

You will have to go to your bank and write a letter, CBN has blocked Naira card for international Web transactions, You will have to write letter for the bank to unlock it

I was debited yesterday without refund, I bought more USD this morning and was debited again. I'm scared to try it again.
