the earlier this lazy owambe obsessed people from Togo realize the game is over the better for them, Let's not kid our selves. The North will rather commit 'harakiri' than allow federalism or resource control happen in Nigeria. I'm an Anambra man, we are oil producing and have huge gas reserves. I want to control my resources same as I want Ijaw, Ibibio, Oron, Urohbo to control whatever is on their lands. Resource control is a right not a privilege. In 1919, Lugard, having successfully looted the resources of the indigenous people of west Africa whom he bastardised with the name 'Nigerians' returned home to Britain a stupendously rich man and was honoured with the title "Lord". The Nigeria he left behind then became a theatre of blood letting, killings, nepotism, tribalism, ethnic supremacy, economic stagnation, exploitation, sectarian strife, civil war and downright bigotry of the highest order. Needless to say that Nigeria is a failed British experiment that cannot work. The answer is to divide Nigeria into smaller units that can work rather than a huge unworkable conglomerate. Nigeria has never worked as a nation. This Oily food owambe obsessed parasitical Tiger claw face brown roof internet warrior should be aware Nigeria is more divided now than ever , they should start planning ahead, Odua republic should be an option for them now
Odua Republic? Impossible. Yoruba is deeply divided between Muslims and Non-Muslims.

The Muslim Yoruba look forward to the Sokoto Caliphate for directions and can't imagine another country without the Sokoto Caliphate.

To have the old Eastern region which is comprised of nearly 99% Christians to remain in Nigeria to serve as a buffer against Izlamization of entire Nigeria thus becomes a passion for the Yoruba and much of the north.

Some foolish northerners believe the south depends on north'a food for survival.

Reality is that there is no region in the rain forest southern region that cannot produce enough food for its citizens, yet have excess food for export to dry Sahel northern Nigeria

Only solution to killings in Nigeria is divide the country into many possible countries.
Any other solution is postponing the evil day.

A country of northern Nigeria shall be peaceful. Because if Muslims are in large majority in such a country, the non Muslims automatically adapt to living in a predominantly Muslim society.

This OP must be a terrorist. Calling on Christians to defend themselves against the marauding beasts from the north is against the Nigerian law, but the actions of the attackers is not?
Barcanister is still like his forebears from today's southsouth - hardly sees beyond the nose.

Christianity is being gradually wiped out in the north of Nigeria, beginning from the NE, moving to NC.

The Bishop Oyedepos in the right position have the statistics and are deeply worried.

The Barcanisters only pray for God's Blessings for Nigeria, like those feeding fat from the inadequacies of unworkable Nigeria.

Barcanister's forebears journeyed to Kaduna in 1967 and begged then northern Nigeria governor, Hassan Katsina, to ask Gowon to cut off non-Igbo areas in the old eastern region from Biafra.

Cross Rivers and Rivers states were created immediately after the journey. Biafra fell mostly because of that.

During and Immediately after the war, Hausa/Fulani and allies ceased the oil blocks in the southsouth, restructured Nigeria politically to the taste of Hausa/Fulani who use the rigged political structure to dictate the tunes in Nigeria today. But the Barcanisters in the creeks don't understand the role the political structure plays in Nigeria's political process. At best, they hope and wait for the one day that Arewa shall agree to political restructuring in Nigeria. They are like waiting for Godot.

Ralph and Kanu are already showing that now.
Kanu didn't ask anyone to give him money for arms to fight Nigerians and Nigeria.
At one point in the US, he asked for help to make Nigerian soldiers stop killing his followers.

As for your example of South Sudan, go tell that to the birds of the air. Biafrans are too civilized that they can't be condescending to the foolish struggle of people of South Sudan. Okay?

If Nigeria at any time wants to remedy the abnormality of soldiers who created states, Nigeria knows the history of state creation in the southeast, and knows where the sixth state in the southeast must be located without asking and make Igbo politicians knock one another.

The next state in the southeast should come from Anambra and Imo states. The fifth state, Ebonyi, was from Enugu, and Abia states.

Northern soldiers restructured Nigeria politically against Biafra areas. Why seven states in the NW but only five in the SE? No federal country ever used land mass as criterion to create new federal units, except soldiers of northern Nigeria. Nigeria is a fraud in present political structure of 36 states and Abuja.

sixtuschimere:
Ijaw Youth Council, IYC Western Zone, comprising Ondo, Edo and Delta State staged a protest on the streets of Warri,Delta state against the federal government incessant arrests, intimidation and witch hunting of the Ijaws.

The Chairman of IYC, Western Zone, Comr. Freeborn Atigbi while addressing the media after the protest at NPA in Warri South Local Government Government Area of Delta State called on President Mohammadu Buhari to immediately release all allegedly arrested sons of Ijaws, describing their arrests as illegal and unlawful. He also called on the Ijaw Nation to defend itself by resisting any further alleged unlawful arrests, noting that the Ijaws have never been defeated by even the military government, stressing that it cannot be defeated by a Fulani led government.

He particularly tasked the federal government to live within the ambit of democracy, emphasising that the government should charge any suspects to court and not the incessant whisking away of Ijaw sons with their whereabouts unknown.

In his words: “We are not cowards, we have not been defeated by even the military government hence we cannot be defeated by a Fulani led government, Buhari is pushing us to the World, he should stop it henceforth hence we are going to resist any further arrests of our people by defending ourselves. ”

“The Ijaw Youth Council, Western Zone have gathered and we are on a peace match to send a very strong message to the Buhari led Federal government that we are sick and tired of the oppression meted out on the people of Niger Delta particularly the Ijaws.

“Since he took over the mantle of leadership it is as if the Niger Delta and her people are conquered people, we did not go into war with the Buhari led government, there was an election and our brother Dr. Goodluck Jonathan lost and peacefully he transited power to Buhari without any conflict of interest, since his exit from office, Buhari has been witch hunting the family of Goodluck Jonathan, his wife has been under constant attack by security agents particularly the EFCC, DSS, their homes at various times have been invaded by security agencies for various reasons Nigerians do not know, their accounts and family accounts have been frozen".

“We believe we are operating democracy and democracy deals with the rule of law, if anyone has committed any crime against the state, such person or persons should be charged to court and the rules and regulations should be applied, our people should not be treated as cowards or slaves.

“Again our ex agitators and activists have also come under severe attacks by security agencies under Buhari’s watch with incessant arrests, they have not been charged to court and whereabouts still unknown, we don’t even know the crimes that they have committed to warrant such arrests and we felt this is unbecoming, notable examples includes Gen. Bonana-Owei  Godday Smith, aka King of the Forest; Comr. Daniel Ezekiel; Gen. Aboy Muturu Ebimene Monday; Victor Ozubu; Endy; Tonne Miemene-Iye; Peremo, the names are too numerous to mention, this is democracy and the rule of law must be operational.”

These people are yet to understand the mentality of the Hausa/Fulani toward Nigeria.

Yet to learn that the journey of their fore leaders to Kaduna in 1967 to beg former northern Nigeria governor, Hasan Katsina, to ask Gowon to carve out non Igbo speaking groups of the old eastern region off from Biafra rendered today's southsouth a conquered region.

Once Gowon created Cross River and Rivers states out of Biafra, Hausa/Fulani with other allies won the entire old eastern region and today's Niger delta through the Nigeria/Biafra war.

Only solution to freedom for the south south today is alliance with their Igbo neighbours.

Lol and pity the SW of Nigeria which is deeply divided between non Muslims and Muslims.

SW Muslims look forward to the Sokoto Califate for directions.

SW Muslims lead the SW region politically. SW Muslims can't imagine their being in another country without the Sokoto Califate.

Therefore, to protect themselves from the onslaught of Islamic expansionism, the Yoruba, more so, the non Muslim Yoruba, doesn't like Biafra leaving Nigeria.

It's not that Yoruba hate Igbos, rather, Yoruba knows that if Biafra leaves Nigeria, remainder of Nigeria must be stifled by religious extremism. That's why Yorubas do all the blackmail in the books against Biafra.

But blame any Igbo who is yet to switch to Pork meat for continued conflicts of Fulani cattle breeders in the east.

Pork is white meat which does no harm to the body.

Beef is red meat, not too good for the body.

Pork is the major meat for Oyibo because of its safe nature.

As more and more easterners farm pigs and eat pork for regular meat, there shall be no more need for cattle breeders wandering about in the east.

What you brand hatred from the East are reactions to the hatred visited on the east from states and local government councils creations which severely short-changed the east, and by extension the entire south of Nigeria.

Wike is like those Southsouth leaders who went to beg the governor of Northern Nigeria to plead with Gowon to cut off the non-Igbo groups from Biafra then.

Gowon created Rivers and Cross River States, that led to defeat of Biafra.

Thereafter, oil wells in the south were collected and Southern Nigeria became quasi colony of northern Nigeria till today.
