Ofolete:There's none obviously. Hence the "Damned either way; Damned both ways" closer. Babaheekmat:Can't type lengthy again? You should command libido into your penile appendage and maybe the next child Mama Hakeemat would have would be yours instead of opening her legs for street vulcanisers as surrogate fathers. Set the alarm for 2:00AM. Ask her. Looking forward to reading your woes and tantrums on the frontpage thread you'd create to lament about her. BabaHeekmat? Fool really thought he had a child. You got played. ![]() |
poiZon:Petition? You can't even spell correctly and you want to write petitions. I'm not going to do the intellectual work for you. You are just like NkanAkpanika who waits for K. Thomas to post in the media WhatsApp group then he lifts it to post like his. An IP thief who never gives credit. A plagiarist. Those are paid academic and creative writing jobs. If you can't research, good for you. Your laziness makes those in need of such intellectual work come to people like me. I bet you didn't know Ibom Air never declared any profit until I mentioned it. I bet you never knew Akpabio wasted 100 billion naira on the Tropicana Project until I did. I'm not debating with you since you and yours can't dig up facts to counter all the statistics I have been dropping. I am schooling you on the clandestine happenings in our state and how our commonwealth is being misused. What has the Udom government done for you or your community? You have siblings in school or relations; have they received bursaries? LGAs in Akwa Ibom receive over 100 million naira each (Check YourBudgit website) monthly in Akwa Ibom, where does all that money go to? Ask questions, sycophant! But, no, you won't. You meal depends on praisesinging the very oppressors who steal our commonwealth, and you only get peanuts. |
Babaheekmat:I got give a brutal rebuttal while defending why loving both the player and the club make sense. But it's pointless. Let's focus on the real issue. You call yourself BabaHeekmat. But the problem is, what makes you so certain you are Heekmat's father? Just because the woman who bore her pinned the pregnancy on you doesn't make her yours. I'd give you hints: Why do you think Mutiu the vulcaniser down the street you live buys snacks for Heekmat and playfully calls her "my daughter"? Why do you think his daughter and Heekmat have a slight semblance? Wake up Mama Heekmat by 2:00am tomorrow to question her. She did a 'Nedu wife' on you - you are raising a bástard. ![]() |
As usual. Sort of difficult situation as a Barça and Messi fan. If Barça loses, the critics would say it's a one-man club and Barça is over. If Barça wins, they'd say Messi was the problem. Either way, one of your loves would take the heat. Yet I want Barça to win and Messi spared the criticism. Damned either way. Damned both ways. |
poiZon:Let me break it down for you since you are obviously Gov. Udom Emmanuel's sycophant. In the 2018 Akwa Ibom State budget, over 10.4 billion naira was spent on overhead costs and on "running government" - which basically is fueling vehicles for convoys and paying P.As and S.As who basically do nothing. In that same 2018, only 4 billion naira was budgeted for education. Only 4 billion naira! That's why schools, scholarships and bursaries are underfunded. Tell me, has Udom paid bursaries even once since his tenure began? I don't give a shit about Akpabio. I already told you the Tropicana project cost 100 billion naira which Akpabio signed and it's a waste. Attah didn't see much money so it's understandable why he's not blamed. Akpabio and Udom wasted and are wasting our resources. --- NkanAkpanika is a pen-for-hire thug who fills Facebook with his nonsense. He has no idea of his own and depends what K. Thomas posts in the WhatsApp group as content. Let him deny this. Don't worry - I have inside information. I don't deal with foóls. I don't bother myself with lowly idiots and have never - and would never - depend on politics or politicking for my meal. The dimwit is a drunkard who sleeps at Eni Stores peddling chewing gum gists with S. Udoma. Becareful propagandist, I would disgrace you as untrue and a pen-for-hire. |
poiZon:Stop being silly. This isn't human capacity development - it's the normal employment as secondary school teachers in the state. There was a severe shortage of teachers and recruitment had to be done. Even at that, it was politicised. Within the first two days of the portal being opened, it has over 2 million unique visits with over 30,000 applications then the website crashed. I'm not going to reveal how I got these statistics. The minions posting here don't even know how and who developed the portal. The server was upgraded that Thursday and the process for recruitment changed twice It wasn't strictly on merit but slots. I'd rather not reveal more. But this isn't human capacity development but falls under recurrent expenditure of the budget. Do you even understand budgeting at all? Do you even know the overhead cost of running the Akwa Ibom State Government from 2016 to 2019? You want me to bully these guys with facts? Don't insult us from the state who know the inner details. Keep mesmerising other Nigerians with the mediocrity perpetuated in the state. Before you accuse me of being APC, I never have been. Never would attend their meetings. Tell the guys in the media unit to track my IP address. I want the whole of this to culminate into a confrontation and I have civil groups at my beck and call. Udom is underperforming! |
poiZon:It depends on what you are proposing but it has to be for the people and youth-driven. I'm not going to compromise on the youth-driven and human capital development part. Anything without that agenda would be me teaming up with the very things and iideas I have been criticising on this thread especially. Do send me a mail. |
poiZon:Kufre Carter? Same Kufre Carter who allowed himself be bribed for 4 million naira to stop the EndSARS protests, denied then admitted it was #500,000, and was disgraced? He's a noisemaker. His timeline of inanities on his profile are proof enough that he shouldn't be taken seriously. Politicking is way more than pandering to fickle-minded people and posting memes all over the place. Udoedehe? Well, he's been said to be of good heart. Currently embroiled in supremacy battle with Akpabio for the heart of the state APC. His methods are... Well, you know how his methods are. Please don't mention Kufre Carter where serious-minded people are. With the position and role I held and played in the 2019 state elections, anything other than working directly with the principal is a downgrade. I won't reveal more. Not on Nairaland, at least. ![]() |
poiZon:The beautiful thing is, I'm not routing for Akpabio. Or Victor Attah. That's the thing with you lot: When we talk about development of the state, you point fingers of partisanship. You are not fit to even argue this because you get peanuts for whitewashing. There was massive corruption under Akpabio. The Ibom Tropicana project which he signed with Ben Bruce's company was a failure until Udom Emmanuel gave the go-ahead for the revamping. Oh! Before you fan yourself, Ibom Tropicana is now a PPP with the private sector spending and running things in the facility. Hence the alias "Market Square". Just like you sycophants try to give credit for the revamping and uplifting of the General Hospital, Anua to Udom Emmanuel when in fact, it is owned and managed by the missionary. As at early this year, a caesarean section cost about 250,000 naira. Also, at medication must be bought from the hospital pharmacy and they are comparatively pricey. I have no problem with that. It's more expensive in standard private hospitals. But can the poor afford it? Yet the government has been touting it like its project and saying everything is subsidized. See, I have your lies documented. You can fool others but not people like us who research and publish these things, including on mainstream media. ![]() Oh! And for 2023, I have gotten many invites to drive certain things but I haven't chosen any. Until I am certain I can find one who isn't a cut from the old block, I'm staying put. All Senatorial Districts have had their turns now. 2023 is about starting afresh and that nonsense would stop. ![]() |
NkanAkpanika:Of course, you don't, you pen-for-hire. All you do is launder the images of soiled politicians all day mme etteh aya drop mkpo ano boys. Ndito edi dia nso? You have denied you aren't on the payroll to whitewash the government but you have been caught severally. The curious thing is, you don't have access to the government and just the hireling of one random P.A. and S.A. who himself doesn't have unfettered access to the governor. I know you. I am deliberately not mentioning certain things for your own sake. What hurts you is I stated the true state of things and while commending for security and peace, highlighted his failings as a governor. It's on the frontpage and you'd have to answer queries as to why you couldn't counter it. Too bad I am hitting back at you and those who constructively criticise the governor would now screenshot what I have stated to further the criticism. Udom Emmanuel has underperformed! He has failed if I am being honest given the amount the state receives yearly. He only looks good because you are rating him with the standard of probably Abia and Imo State Governors. Former Governor Victor Attah set the standard even without 13 percent deviation money. Udom Emmanuel has no excuse not to deliver. Don't get me started or I'd go so hard on your demigod of a governor, you'd kneel to your paymasters by tommorow evening at Eni Stores as they reprimand you for not doing your job as a praisesinger effectively on Nairaland today. The only people I want to debate this with are intellectuals who aren't paid to whitewash the failings of government officials and administrations. ![]() |
poiZon:Dude, you are an Akwa Ibomite, you should be smarter than this. The standard world wide is to convert any currency to dollars. Nairaland is Africa's biggest online forum and for those outside the country, naira conversion helps them understand the situation of things. Total income for Akwa Ibom State in 2019:223.39 billion naira .Exchange rate (dollar to naira in 2019): #306 to $1. Akwa Ibom State income for 2019:727.657 million dollars! Security votes per state: Akwa Ibom State receives is 21.6 billion yearly as security vote. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_vote_in_Nigeria This is commensurate with what's stated officially. If you can't research and depend on the nonsense put out by the sycophants who control the state government Facebook page then we shouldn't be having this argument. Let me give you a tip you and most people don't know. In 2019, the state government budgeted 2.9 billion naira for the 21-storey smart city at Udo Udoma Industrial Avenue, Uyo. In 2020, they added 7.2 billion naira to the budget. In 2021, the budget was padded and hidden, and removed from the official Akwa Ibom State Government website. 10.1 billion naira for a 21-storey Skyscraper which hasn't been completed. Don't get me started on the corruption going on. I have inner circle details you would dream to read or hear. ![]() |
NkanAkpanika:You silly sycophant on 45,000 naira monthly payroll of the government to spread propaganda. You have denied you don't work for the government but we all know you are a liar. I have researched about you and you are a pen-for-hire. I schooled you on your thread in May and you ran, and I have continued. to school you ever since. https://www.nairaland.com/6576367/another-governor-commission-medical-gas#102163655 Don't get me started on your case, loafer. Some of us work hard to earn our money and aren't partisan. You contribute nothing to the development other than filling Facebook with your lies and hanging out at Eni Stores for your little propaganda meetings. When intellectualism is the focus, stay away sycophant. You know how hard I hit you when your sycophancy is on overdrive so you avoided quoting me but I'd always find you. |
poiZon:Akwa Ibom budget 2019: 670.718 billion naira ----- Akwa Ibom allocation 2019: 169.79 billion naira Akwa Ibom IGR 2019: 32 billion naira Akwa Ibom security vote 2019: 21.6 billion naira Total income for Akwa Ibom State in 2019: 223.39 billion naira . Exchange rate (dollar to naira in 2019): #306 to $1 Akwa Ibom State income for 2019: 727.657 million dollars! Dude, don't get me started. The Udom Emmanuel administration has underperformed and the only reason he is looking good is because he is compared to other state governors. We are just a state of 6 million people. With almost $730 million in 2019 alone, a thousand things could have been done. You and I know this for a fact. |
robinsonnunto: Cantonese:Ibom Air is a PPP with the private sector owning most of it. It hasn't declared any profit since it started. The syringe factory is comatose. The coconut industry is almost dead. I am not a politician but in the know of these things at a very high level. Mode4:You silly sycophant who's the praisesinger of the P.A. to the S.A. of a common councillor. What role did you play in the 2019 elections? Were you recognized? Did you have access to the innermost circles of the Akwa Ibom State election committees? You know nothing! Do you want me to give you a breakdown of the budgets for the 21-storey smart building? It's not even on the official government website. poiZon:Akwa Ibom State got $443 million in 2019. That includes allocation, IGR and security votes. Don't argue nonsense with me. Some of these are published researched work I have conducted. 146.27 billion naira in 2020 from FAAC 30.70 billion naira IGR TOTAL: 176.97 billion naira at the CBN exchange rate of about 400 in 2019 was 442.425 million dollars. Don't ever argue nonsense with me. Some of us are more invested in the ongoings of our state at a high level than you social media pundits and sycophants. ![]() |
lexyclasy:Don't argue jack with me. I'm more invested in the socio-politico-economics of the state at a high level than you are, you sycophant. Everything I have stated are backed up by researched statistics. |
DissTroyer:Modified on the front page. |
State: Akwa Ibom Governor: Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel Sector Ratings: Health : 4/10 Asides renovating primary health centers in underserved communities, these centers are peopled with professionals who are more concerned about party loyalty and propaganda than actually serving the people. We did undertake a study and the regularity of health workers in places outside the main cities of Uyo, Eket, Ikot Ekpene, Oron and Ikot Abasi is poor of the 31 LGAs. Measures should be put in place to ensure devotion to work by these health workers is paramount. Security: 6/10 Since 2010, Akwa Ibom has relatively been the most peaceful state in Nigeria, with Uyo undoubtedly the most peaceful city in the country. While Uyo is safe and has been so even since the time of Akpabio, that peace and safety should be spread to the suburbs and inner communities. Ikot Ekpene city has been almost ridded of clashes. Eket is relatively peaceful. Infrastructure : 4/10 The populace expected more from this government and while he is being praised in the media, it's because he seems to be one of the best amongst governors who are generally incompetent. Akwa Ibom earns a lot but the governor spends most of these on vainglorious projects like the International Worship Center, the 21-Storey Smart Skyscraper and others. He's tried to maintain some of the road projects begun by Akpabio but the projects aren't commensurate with the huge earnings by the state government. In 2019 alone, Akwa Ibom state government earned about $443 million. For a state of 6 million people, if half was properly utilized, we'd be high up. Human capital development: 3/10 The programmes initiated by government have mostly be politicised. I'd commend that most of the projects have been ICT-driven but being headed by politicians rubbishes everything and the aims - lofty as they might be - are derailed. Education : 3/10 Agriculture: 5/10 Sports : 7/10 He's invested a lot in sport development, especially football. Akwa United, Ibom Starlets, Dakkada United and others in the state and now at the very top of football in the country. But he's more focused on football and neglecting track sports. I'm planning a bigger article for publication at some later date so I'd save the details. Entertainment: 3/10 Entertainment in Nigeria has never been spurred by government so that's that. Social services: 6/10 Rape, abuse and other such vices form a very key part of his administration. And he's taken visible measures to curb these. He's declared a zero tolerance on cultism and many of these criminals have gone underground. |
Kajaard:https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/advanced-twitter-mute-options And you really don't want to be distracted on Twitter, just follow the key topics you like then change location to some obscure place like Uzbekistan or so and there'd no trends so you can just focus on your timeline and topics of interest. |
OmovuduTheBeast:The problem is platforms like Nairaland and Facebook where you can't mute certain words. On Twitter I have all those irrelevant things muted like Bob-whatever, Tonto, BBNaija and the likes, and I enjoy the platform without the garbage. |
Mercychen:From "I dare men and women to post their pics, I look better than men" to "I won't post my pictures" to "What point are you trying to prove by posting pictures on Nairaland?" Schizophrenic bat! You can't even choose and stand on a point. In addition to being unattractive, life 'blessed' you with a messed-up mental state. Changing stances like the number of dirty thugs who have been inside you because when they see your face in the morning after meeting up at night, they dash through the motel door never to return or take your calls. You could have easily argued the points the man made and encouraged men to elevate their wives how they can but, no, your hubris had to make you claim you are Miss World. We all know you'd be second runner-up in a beauty pageant against a baboon, a fox, and a she-goat. And that's only because the she-goat didn't show up. |
TWLifestyle:These are confirmed researches: Nigerian women are the most unfaithful in the world according to the Guiness World Book of Records: https://www.channelstv.com/2012/07/16/nigerian-women-are-most-unfaithful-in-the-world-durex/ Nigerian women rank amongst the highest in the world for paternity fraud. They make up 30 percent of the total: https://www.pulse.ng/news/metro/paternity-fraud-does-nigeria-truly-make-up-30-of-failed-dna-tests-in-the-world/lqdytnp ![]() |
Mercychen:Jump off a cliff, Fuglyna! Nobody gives a hoot about you on this thread. You wanted attention and touted yourself to be what life denied you of. You are ugly. Men have always treated you as such. There's a reason why you spend all your time in photo studios hoping Photoshop would compensate for what your genetics lack. There's a reason you can't even dare be seen without makeup photos. There's a reason you memorise all the SnapChat features there ever has been. Accept your fate. You are ugly and I shamed you for it. Not women in general but you in particular who tried to hide behind the cloak of anonymity to portray a false image of yourself. I bet your WhatsApp profile picture is even a meme. That's how ugly you are. ![]() |
Mercychen:Fugly dimwit! No pretty girl or woman ever runs away from flaunting her pictures. The beautiful ones on Nairaland especially never turn down any opportunity to post pictures, especially of their faces. Ugly, lonely girl who has amassed over 250 posts in less than 16 days of her account being created because she spends all her day on Nairaland and no man who's worth it wants her. I could confidently take up the challenge to post my pictures and even my social media handles because I know I am attractive. Beauty isn't in the eye of the beholder - true good looks is what anyone can behold. I repeat, even with makeup, I would beat you hands down in looks. You just confirmed you are fugly and you are scared to even compete with a man in looks. One only wonders the depression you are in when you see truly beautiful females in person or on social media and how insecure it makes you feel of what genetics deprived you of. ![]() A |
Mercychen:You liar! You don't have a diary on your profile. I'd rather be shot dead before mailing a random anonymous female on the internet. Forget about the other Nairaland males. You are the only female who challenged any male to post pictures with you for comparison. I am taking you up on the challenge - for every of your best 3 no-makeup, no-filter or editing pictures you post, I would post 5 of mine. Heck! I would even post links to my Facebook/Twitter profile after you post the pictures and I post mine so anyone can view more of my pictures. No studio photoshoot. No filter. There are even videos anybody can view. We know you basic-looking females who claim to be everything on Nairaland but when your pictures are eventually leaked, you are a disappointment who was never worth the hype. Don't chicken out now. You represent the Nairaland females and I, the males. |
ityP:Let's not even go far. Even with her makeup, I would beat her in looks hands down. Even with her SnapChat filters. Why else do you think women are heavily invested in beauty products, Snapchats, cosmetic surgeries and the likes? Most are insecure about their looks. I bet you the MercyChen girl who was bragging about looks wouldn't take me up on the challenge I responded to. I'd even go one step further, we could quickly do a 30-second video call (she could use an anonymous account with her username) which we would record and post so Nairalanders can view who is better-looking. I'd deliberately choose a platform which has no filters. These women overestimate their looks, no thanks to the man simps and low self-esteem males who fawn over their studio-edited pictures on social media with filters. |
Mercychen:One behalf of the men here, Mercychen, I'd take you up on the challenge. Let's post pictures of ourselves with our faces up-close and full-length pictures. No studio photoshoot pictures. No filters. Put on makeup if you like. But, of course, as a man I wouldn't. For every 3 pictures of yourself you would post, I would post 5 of myself. ![]() Are you game? Don't chicken out now. ![]() |
youngscholar:LOL. None of these ideas are entirely new. PayStack and Flutterwave offer the same features and services but at different rate. I did mention the idea knowing fully well that there are others reading viewing this thread. You can incorporate it into yours. I'd like to see more businesses scale in EdTech even though I'm neck-deep in the FinTech idea I had mentioned earlier. |
youngscholar:So, how scalable is it? The CBT area seems overly-saturated already. And it's seasonal too somewhat. Investors are looking at scalability. I was thinking about a payment and learning platform which connects the academia to funding and resources for research and learning as an EdTech. Now that's popped into my head, I'd jot it down to work on it. But there's another FinTech idea I'm already working on. |
angelfallz:Even healthtech and EduTech. HealthTech seems more promising on paper but the realities would overwhelm you. |
standfit007:I understand. But I think the problem with pre-seed funding is, at the stage the structure is most vulnerable. Investors set an higher margin for exit clause and since profitability of the idea become the main driving force, you could also lose control because your percentage ownership is lower, including the original valuation. Secondly, there's a tendency to deviate from what birthed the necessity of that idea. Most financial advisors would tell you to stall pre-seed funding as much as you can. But for FinTech, as with most ideas, funding is important. But what are the terms? Since I am into web development, graphics, UI and creative writing myself, it's a leverage to quietly work on the idea before opening it up at a later stage. There's the legal framework too which must be clear-cut. Just out of curiosity, are you working on any or something similar? |
The problem with this is mostly the clause from these angel investors at the pre-seed funding. The ROI and more. There are so many sharks out there and sometimes one rather scales the idea to a certain stage before opening it up. I've been working on a philanthropy-driven fintech idea for months now but refusing to open it up. |
