Congratulations to those who have received their visa and goodluck to all those awaiting theirs like me

I rarely see family reunion post here but I believe someone can help me out.

I had my interview at the german embassy on 3-01-2018 and my investigation was Finalised on 18-01-2018. Is it possible I might receive my visa this month?
Is there any other fam reunion applicant whose visa was processed within a month?
Is this normal? I have been on fasting since 1st of Jan. Could it be the reason why they started my process quickly?

Finally got to Deutschland #hamburg last Saturday steping out of the plane I was welcomed by the cold it was crazy but I kinda dig it compared to the crazy heat back in naija #beinsarcastic it's great out here... Loving it

1. Was your primary and secondary school contacted ?
2. Were the witnesses to your marriage contacted ?
3. Were the 3 referees contacted ?
4. Were previous employers contacted ?

1.Yes they went to my primary school secondary school and university
2. Yes they contacted one of the witnesses which was my dad but the other witness is not living in Naija.
3. They contacted just of the referees
4. I didn't fill my previous employers but if you've filled in previous employers then they'll be contacted.

@op since you said your gf has a good job and all my advise for you is to come back to Naija get married here and apply for the visa. I have a friend who got married to his German spouse early this year the whole process didn't take long he already has his visa now...

For family reunion you don't need any statement of account or whatsoever.. Just take all the checklist!

How did you meet you meet your wife?
Where did you guys get married?
Which city is your wife living?
Home address? With the postal code.
Some questions in German to test you..
I can't remember other questions though but they are simple questions.. U just have to be confident that's all...
The verification process shouldn't take so long.. . A lawyer came to my house and asked my parents some questions they were giving a piece of paper to write about me et al
I was also given a paper to write bout how I met my wife when she came to naija the marriage plus my educational history... It's very simple bruh
