Hmmmm Tiny meat. That meat looks like an over-fed rat. |
Extended Toes This foot has the big toe separated from the other 4 which are close together. People with this foot are independent, they like to be free and even act crazy, they are happy and comfortable being different and uncommon, occasionally they will do things just for the sake of it. And what foot do you have? https://www.naij.com/1076730-the-shape-toes-a-lot-here.html
Sloping Toes In this strange shape, the second toe is slightly separated from the third and sloped towards the big toe. One can be born with this foot or develop the shape over time. People with this foot are very quiet and peaceful, they don't like making any kind of a fuss or commotion.
Warrior Toes On this foot, the big toe is the longest and all the others are of the same length. These people are the life and soul of the party and are just as passionate about everything else, to the point where they are willing to do anything to defend their point of view. There is nothing they like more than enjoying themselves and they want to enjoy themselves every minute of the day.
Separated Toes It may be that they are always like this or that you can stretch them out quite far. These toes are those of a very restless person, nomadic by nature, always in search of new experiences and new places to get to know.
Very Little Toes Very similar to the Roman toes, but the little toe is even smaller still. These people can be very reserved with their private life, are more shy than anything else and can also be overprotective of what they do and how they feel.
Square Toes These feet have toes all of practically the same length. Also known as "peasant foot", people with these feet are very thoughtful, considering all options before making a decision. They are also very diplomatic and always look for a pragmatic way of solving any problem.
Flaming Toes Another common shape, with these toes the second is slightly longer than the big toe and the remaining toes gradually decrease in length. People with these toes are very ambitious but also very creative, and even enjoy provoking a little chaos and madness in other people, much to everyone else's enjoyment.
Our body is truly fascinating. Even if we see it as ugly, it is perfect and it is designed for just about anything. And every part of our body tells us a lot about ourselves: our faces show where we've been, the palms of our hands can tell us where we're going. And our toes can also reveal who we are on the inside. The toes can take various shapes and every one of these shapes corresponds to a personality type. We tell you what they are: Roman Toes This is the most common type of toes. Here the big toe is the longest and they gradually decrease in length until reaching the little toe. These people are generally very friendly, they like to love and be loved, they support others and are easily supported, so they tend to be able to overcome any difficulty presented to them.

Mudiaga Affe, Calabar A former presidential special adviser, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, on Wednesday disclosed that she fell in love and married Dele Giwa because of his Press Snaps column. Dele Giwa, a former the Editor-in-Chief of Newswatch magazine, was killed by a letter bomb on October 19, 1986. Ita-Giwa, who spoke on a radio programme (Hit FM) in Calabar on Wednesday, explained that she became interested in the journalistic write-ups as a result of the works of her mother, Beatrice Bassey-Ita and the likes of Peter Enahoro and Sam Amuka. She said that she got married to Dele Giwa just barely three weeks after their first contact as a result of his intellectual prowess. The former presidential adviser, who was responding to a question on her relationship with Dele Giwa, said that she followed him to his house on request on the first day that they met to know how he wrote his column. She said, “I became attracted to journalism because of my mother and the likes of Peter Enahoro, Sam Amuka and others. My mother worked for the West African Pilot and later The Guardian before she joined Sketch where she retired. “I stumbled into Dele Giwa because I liked his column. I did marry him eventually not because he was handsome, but what he had upstairs. When I met him coincidentally, I just told him that I had been reading his columns which I found entertaining and intellectually challenging. “On that particular day, he looked at his time and said he was going home to write his column, he requested that follow him to his house to see how he prepared the column, I agreed. We drove from Surulere to Ikeja because I was curious. “When we got to his house, he went to his study and brought out one old typewriter and sat on the table with a glass of water and cognac and started typing straight from his head without looking at any material. “He did this up till about 3am the next morning, I was so amazed. I called my mum that early morning through his telephone (landline) to inform her that I was with Dele Giwa and that he was typing his column from his head. “From that day, we never parted until we got engaged three weeks after. He was a beautiful and intellectually rich human being that had so much in his head. He was very fearless. He was a prolific writer and I was always scared for his life.” http://punchng.com/married-dele-giwa-ita-giwa-2/

Ade Adesomoju, Abuja The Federal Government on Wednesday said investigations had shown that a Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Sylvester Ngwuta, spent over N500m between January and October 2016 despite his total annual legitimate earnings, including his allowances being N24m. This was disclosed in a document prepared by the prosecuting counsel, Mr. Charles Adeogun-Philips, summarising the case of the prosecution against the Justice of the Supreme Court, who was on November 21, 2016, arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja. During his arraignment, Ngwuta pleaded not guilty to 16 counts, including money laundering and others relating to fraudulent obtainment of multiple passports. The trial judge, Justice John Tsoho, adjourned till January 16, 2017, for the prosecution to start calling its witnesses. The document, prepared in anticipation that the prosecution would be allowed to open its case on Wednesday, stated that the case brought against the judge, “chronicles corrupt enrichment, violations of the money laundering laws of our land, passport fraud, and an attempt to obstruct justice by a judicial officer”. The prosecution alleged that from the N500m, the apex court justice transferred dollar equivalent of N313m cash in $100 bills to a building contractor within the period of nine months between January and September, 2016, to “develop several landed properties” for him. It explained that earlier in 2015, the defendant, within a period of one month, made various cash payments totalling $180,000 to the building contractor. It also alleged that during the raid on the defendant’s Abuja house by the operatives of the Department of State Services on October 7, 2016, total sums of N38.358m, $319,596 and £25,915 were found in his possession. According to the prosecution, the Justice of the apex court gave no satisfactory explanation for the huge sums of money found in his possession. Prosecutor’s document The document partly read, “Another witness will testify before this court that the defendant’s total annual income, including allowances in 2016 amounted to approximately N24,000,000. “It beggars belief how a serving public servant could have under his direct control, in a 10-month period spanning between January and October alone, cash sums in excess of N500,000,000.” Adeogun-Philips said proposed prosecution witnesses would also appear in court to testify over the huge funds found in possession of the defendant, among other allegations. The document stated, “In the course of this trial, the Federal Republic of Nigeria will adduce evidence from a building contractor engaged by the defendant, as to how in a period of nine months, spanning between January and September 2016, he received the total sum of N313,000,000 from the defendant in cash, which was paid to him mostly in $100 bills to develop landed properties for the defendant. “This court will also hear from another witness, how in his capacity as an architect engaged by the defendant in 2015, he received from the defendant within a period of one month, various cash payments totalling $180,000. “Investigators will further tell this honourable court how during a search at his residence on October 7, 2016, cash totalling: (1) N35,358,000 (2) $319,956 and £25,915 were found in the defendant’s possession.” The prosecution alleged that the defendant had betrayed “the judicial oath of allegiance to discharge his duties as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, faithfully, with honesty, and to the best of his abilities”, which he swore to on June 23, 2011 when he was promoted to the Supreme Court bench. The prosecuting lawyer also stated that he would lead evidence on how the defendant, on October 9, 2016, a day after being granted administrative bail by the DSS in Abuja, prevailed on a potential prosecution witness on the telephone to help him to move some bags containing title documents of landed assets and N27m cash away from his house in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. Adeogun-Philips stated, “The court will, in the course of this trial, hear how the defendant, having been confronted with the maze of evidence against him, following the search of his official residence in Abuja and his subsequent arrest on October 7, 2016, and oblivious of being under DSS surveillance, prevailed on a potential prosecution witness following his release on administrative bail on October 9, 2016, to remove from his bathroom at his private residence in Ebonyi State several bags containing several land title documents and the sum of N27m cash. “The evidence will also reveal how the defendant ordered the same witness to remove three luxury vehicles from his residence following which the said vehicles were subsequently concealed at various locations in Ebonyi State in an attempt to obstruct ongoing investigations in this case.” He also said the evidence to be led by the prosecution would reveal “how the defendant, deliberately misled the Nigeria Immigration Service into issuing him four valid passports – two diplomatic and two standard Nigerian passports – having previously declared to the said service on oath that he had lost two of these passports”. “The defendant was later found with all four passports during a search at his residence on October 7, 2016,” the prosecution stated. Adeogun-Philips added, “It is for these reasons that the defendant is standing trial before this honourable court today. By the end of this trial, I am confident that the prosecution would have established beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant is indeed guilty of the offences charged.” The prosecution was scheduled to call its first set of witnesses against Justice Ngwuta on Wednesday, but the defendant, through his lawyer, Chief Kanu Agabi (SAN), begged the trial judge, Justice John Tsoho, to further adjourn the case to afford him (Ngwuta) more time to prepare for his defence. He said his client was eager to defend himself, “But unfortunately we still have a lot to do to be sufficiently ready.” He cited section 36(6) of the constitution which he said entitled any person accused of criminal offences to be given the “time and facilities” to defend himself. He said, “There are some documents we still need to access from the prosecution. Under our constitution the defendant should be given enough time. “I urge your lordship to direct the prosecution to avail us of all the documents they intend to use so that we can be fully prepared.” Prosecutor opposes adjournment But Adeogun-Philips, who said a lot of resources had been expended to bring three of the prosecution witnesses to court on Wednesday, opposed the application for adjournment. He opposed the application on the grounds that both parties had on November 21, after the arraignment of the defendant, consented to the commencement of the trial on Wednesday. Insisting that all the documents the prosecution would use had been front-loaded and served on the defendant along with the charges, he added that the application for adjournment also violated section 396(3) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, “which provides for day-to-day trial upon arraignment until the conclusion of trial.” He also said the adjournment would also violate the provisions of the court’s Practice Direction 2013. He suggested that if the court was willing to grant the adjournment, the prosecution should be allowed to call its witness and give the defence another date to cross-examine the witness. Defence lawyer seeks adjournment Responding on point of law, Agabi said day-to-day trial was impracticable and that under section 396(4) of ACJA, the defendant was entitled to seek adjournment five times throughout the period of the trial in the event of the impracticability of day-to-day trial. But ruling, Justice Tsoho agreed with the defence lawyer on the grounds that the provision of the constitution overrides the provision of the ACJA. He said that the time and facilities which the provision of Section 36(6) of the constitution provides must be afforded the accused person which could extend to “emotional and psychological” readiness. http://punchng.com/judge-earns-n24m-annually-spent-n500m-10-months-agf/

A commercial tricyclist in Owerri, the Imo State capital, and an Abuja-based trader have been caught by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos with 6.390kg of heroin. Cajetan Chinedu Egwin, was arrested on arrival from Kigali, Rwanda, while King Sunday, was nabbed on arrival from Nairobi, Kenya. The drug with an estimated street value of N575 million was hidden in their luggage. NDLEA Lagos Airport Commander Ahmadu Garba said: “Egwin arrived from Kigali on a Rwanda Airline flight while Sunday imported the drug found on him from Nairobi during inward screening of passengers on an Ethiopian Airline flight. The suspects are being investigated. “Preliminary investigation by the agency, however, indicated that drug trafficking cartels are gradually changing their mode of operation by turning to African countries in sourcing narcotic drugs like heroin. The suspects were also recruited for a fee to import the drugs into the country. Egwin who is not married said he needed money to repair his commercial tricycle while Sunday who left his wife after four days of marriage under the guise of a business trip said that he needed money for his honeymoon and business.” Egwin, a commercial tricycle rider in Owerri said “The engine of my tricycle which is my only source of livelihood is bad. While I was looking for money to fix it, I was introduced to the man that promised to pay me N400,000 on the condition that I will bring his drug from Kigali. I accepted the offer because nobody was willing to help me. Apart from the repairs, my rent is due and my landlord has been asking for his money,” he said. Sunday said “I erroneously took the decision to smuggle drugs barely four days after my marriage. I was in need of money for my honeymoon and also for my business but I should not have involved myself in drug trafficking. My thinking was that I could smuggle the drug from Nairobi in two days without my wife knowing that I travelled out of the country. All my life, I have been upright in my transactions but this is a huge mistake and I regret my action.” NDLEA’s Chairman/Chief Executive Col Muhammad Abdallah (rtd) said drug traffickers were turning to African countries to smuggle heroin produced in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Thailand and other far away countries. ”The Agency successfully foiled their plan with the arrest and seizure of the drugs. Drug cartels thought it would be easy to smuggle the drugs into the country since heroin is not produced in Africa but I am happy that we are thinking far ahead of them,” he said. http://www.misspetitenaijablog.com/2016/12/i-was-in-need-of-money-for-my-honeymoon.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+MissPetiteNigeria+(Miss+Petite+Nigeria)&m=1

On Sunday, 13 November, 2016 at exactly 11:20 PM, the Bayelsa State College of Health Technology Otuogidi, Ogbia Town came under siege. 6 heavily armed and masked men invaded the female hostel A of the college. They operated from room to room dispossessing their victims of all their valuables, AsbGistNigeria learnt on Wednesday. The operation lasted till the next morning; one is wont to ask, “where were the security men during the operation, whose responsibility it was to provide skeletal security services before the arrival of the Nigeria Police Force”? The marauders robbed, raped and maimed Female students in the hostel without any resistance from the security men. By the time they left in the morning a total of 30 females students had been robbed, some raped and 1 student was maimed by a machete cut at the back of the head and left in her pool of blood. By dawn the students came out in their numbers chanting anti- neglection by the school authorities songs. The provost of the school wasn’t perturbed when he heard about what happened to the students. It is even laughable and worrisome that it was the chairman of Ogbia local government area that had the compassion and courage to address the students not to take laws into their hands. For 2 whole days the students shut down all activities on campus in order to send home their messages that “enough is enough” of the insensitivity from the school authorities. It was recanted by some many female students that raping has become a recurring decimal in the school without any recourse from the authorities. After two days of absence the provost finally decided to address in a non – responsive way. He had to be reminded by the students before he visited just one of the rape victims in the hospital in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital. It was gathered from the grave vine that the provost hadly spends 3 productive days in the school he superintends, he would prefer to attend to his personal business and hobnobbing with his paymasters and godfathers in Yenagoa, Port-Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos respectively. It was gathered that old men who should be at home relishing their retirement in the company of their grandchildren are the ones enlisted as security men, a job that requires virile mental health and acuity. They were not more than 5men for a school without perimeter fencing. As one writes, it is heart-rending to imagine the state of health of these traumatised rape victims in their closets. http://www..ng/2016/11/30/6-heavily-armed-masked-men-invade-female-hostel-rape-many-bayelsa/

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said that Nigerians can now buy a bag of local Rice for N8,000 — as against N22, 000 obtainable with foreign rice. This was disclosed by Isaac Okorafor, acting director of corporate communications of the apex bank in Yenagoa at a sensitisation workshop for farmers. He said: “The development is encouraging and by the end of 2017, we will not only meet our national demand which is between six and seven million tons but have surplus to export. “We must rid ourselves of eating foreign rice that has been stored for over nine years in Thailand, Vietnam and India. Nigerian rice is fresh and healthier. We should eat Nigerian rice provided for by the CBN Anchor Programme; 50 Kg of local rice is now N8, 000 in Ebonyi. Already, the Abia Government has ordered rice from Ebonyi for Christmas.” Okorafor added that what had been done with this programme so far was to create jobs through farming, especially for the unemployed youths. “Nigerian youths must wake up, dust themselves up and join this worthy campaign. Remember that the status of our farmers is now better due to the support they are receiving as a result of government’s policy. “Our currency is weak because we engaged in needless importation of all kinds of foodstuff, including tooth picks; the government is determined to stop this”. http://www.starsgist.com/bag-of-rice-now-sells-for-n8-000-cbn/
