There is limitless opportunity and possibility for you. People are magnets. When you’re grateful for what you have, you will attract more of the positive and good. Gratitude is contagious. 1. Get A Healthy 7+ Hours of Sleep Let’s face it — Sleep is just as important as eating and drinking water. Despite this, millions of people do not sleep enough and experience insane problems as a result. The National Sleep Foundation (NSF) conducted surveys revealing that at least 40 million Americans suffer from over 70 different sleep disorders. Not only that, 60 percent of adults, and 69 percent of children, experience one or more sleep problems a few nights or more during a week. In addition, more than 40 percent of adults experience daytime sleepiness severe enough to interfere with their daily activities at least a few days each month — with 20 percent reporting problem sleepiness a few days a week or more. On the flipside, getting a healthy amount of sleep is linked to: -Increased memory -Longer life -Decreased inflammation -Increased creativity -Increased attention and focus -Decreased fat and increased muscle mass with exercise -Lower stress -Decreased dependence on stimulants like caffeine -Decreased risk of getting into accidents -Decreased risk of depression -And tons more… google it. The rest of this blog post is worthless if you don’t make sleep a priority. Who cares if you wake up at 5 o’clock A.M. if you went to bed three hours earlier? You won’t last long. You may use stimulants to compensate, but that isn’t sustainable. In the long-run, your health will fall apart. The goal needs to be long-term sustainability.

Life is busy. It can feel impossible to move toward your dreams. If you have a full-time job and kids, it’s even harder. How do you move forward? If you don’t purposefully carve time out every day to progress and improve — without question, your time will get lost in the vacuum of our increasingly crowded lives. Before you know it, you’ll be old and withered — wondering where all that time went. As Professor Harold Hill has said — “You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays.” Rethinking Your Life and Getting Out of Survival Mode This article is intended to challenge you to rethink your entire approach to life. The purpose is to help you simplify and get back to the fundamentals. Sadly, most people’s lives are filled to the brim with the nonessential and trivial. They don’t have time to build toward anything meaningful. They are in survival mode. Are you in survival mode? Like Bilbo, most of us are like butter scraped over too much bread. Unfortunately, the bread is not even our own, but someone else’s. Very few have taken the time to take their lives into their own hands. It was social and cultural to live our lives on other people’s terms just one generation ago. And many millennials are perpetuating this process simply because it’s the only worldview we’ve been taught. However, there is a growing collective-consciousness that with a lot of work and intention — you can live every moment of your life on your own terms. You are the designer of your destiny. You are responsible. You get to decide. You must decide — because if you don’t, someone else will. Indecision is a bad decision. With this short morning routine, your life will quickly change. It may seem like a long list. But in short, it’s really quite simple: Wake up Get in the zone Get moving Put the right food in your body Get ready Get inspired Get perspective Do something to move you forward Let’s begin:

You must lick the ass of elder-state's- men in the industry in order to succeed in Nigeria. This might be true in America and UK but it's not over here. Illuminati is powerful and controls the industry overseas. |
Paul Pogba is overrated. He is not a spectacular player joor. Might end up like Balotelli Of Liverpool. |
Ok Following!!! |

This one hard oooo |
Nigeria we hail thee |
I don't agree with Buhari's opinion. For me, the greatest enemy of the Nigerian nation is MEDIOCRITY AND IGNORANCE, defined simply as a gross inability to see the bigger picture of a potentially great nation. Nigeria was once defined by a renowned Professor as '' A PLACE WHERE THINGS ARE DONE INCOMPLETELY WITH MEDIOCRES AT THE HELM OF AFFAIRS". I think he is correct. If our leadership is faulty, our followership will be sick and blind. |
We love easy money |
This type of WHITE ELEPHANT promise is synonymous with the promise which PMB made to Nigerians during his campaign before the 2015 elections eg; -$1 will be equals to N1 -Premium motor spirit will become N20 / litre -Serious breakfast and lunch for our primary school kids at school -24 hours electricity -2 million jobs per annum Above all, if voted as president, he will go to heaven to bring Jesus to pay Nigerians a visit Lol |
Yes oooo I too must join the convoy now. This economic hardship nor go let person do as he like oooo. |
The above list of Nicknames is Incomplete!!! OTHERS INCLUDE: 5- DULLARDinhö : according to the wailing wailers here on nairaland 6-Sai Baba: this was given to him shortly after he emerged winner of 2015 presidential elections. 7-Bubu: this emanated from those sexy baby mamas here on NL who's BF are nicknamed BUBU 8-The people's General: This didn't last long though but it sure sounded nice too just before and after the elections. 9-GMB : for PDP oloshos who hated to see him become PMB by April 29, 2015.

MY QUESTION IS, '' HOW DID THE SIDE CHIC MANAGE TO FORGET HER PANTIES WITH ANOTHER WOMAN'S HUSBAND AFTER THE ADULTERY EPISODE?'' ''IS IT THAT SHE DOESN'T HAVE OTHER PANTS AT HOME?'' |
Cool Nice article. It reminds me of the proverb, '' Gullible people love to work as ants and reap like elephants". |
Poor bible students ni |
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Almighty power therefore makes you go GAGA. |
Lol Go on deceiving people about safe self creams. By the time HIV infection wires the user of creams, their ears will open and close at once. |
susubrown:I agree with you. But the case note has been manipulated to exempt them from all wrong doings and negligence. |
How much dear OP? |
dlashondra:I feel your pains my dear. There is no love lost between the healthcare workers and their Patients nowadays in Nigeria. I feel they don't get the job satisfaction as healthcare workers, hence the poor standard of care clients get at the hospitals today. Quackery is another problem that has caused the lives of some persons and maimed others for life. Health system in Nigeria needs serious attention right now to put an end to all these problems. |
Bukola Adebayo Discussions at the ongoing AIDS conference in Durban, South Africa, have focused on the dearth of homegrown scientific solutions to HIV/AIDS on the continent. This comes as participants at the conference say that many of the breakthroughs in the treatment and control of the viral disease are coming from abroad instead of within. According to them, donors from the United States of America and other developed nations commit more funds and resources to HIV/AIDS programmes compared to governments in Africa, the region that is most affected by the disease. The Executive Director, Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, Dr. Michael Sidibe, who spoke at the opening plenary, stated that 95 per cent of antiretrovirals, a drug used by persons living with the disease, came from India and other Asian countries. Apart from drugs, Sidibe noted, more than 50 per cent of funding for HIV/AIDS programmes in Africa were borne by donor organisations in the US and Europe. He warned that Africa’s dependence on foreign aids and drugs could frustrate efforts toward eradicating the disease by 2030. The UNAIDS chief challenged African scientists and pharmaceutical companies to reverse the trend by investing in local manufacturing of antiretrovirals. Sidibe added, “Today, 90 to 95 per cent of patients are undergoing treatment, thanks to drugs which come from abroad, precisely India. It is therefore time for Africa to produce its own drugs. “It is impossible to think that in future we will continue to treat patients for the next 20 or 30 years with the belief that these drugs will come from the North.” Urging African governments to increase their support and funding, he warned that some international donors might reduce their funding due to global economic challenges. Sidibe said, “Between 2015 and 2016, 13 of 14 donors reviewed their financing for the fight against HIV/AIDS. We noticed a reduction of about seven per cent. This bothers me because if we have difficulty putting patients under treatment, the number of cases as well as resistance could increase.” Meanwhile, a former Lagos Coordinator, Network of People Living With HIV/AIDS in Nigeria, Ibrahim Umoru, said HIV/AIDS patients might suffer more if the government did to increase its domestic funding of HIV/AIDS treatment programmes. Umoru said, “PEPFAR has been funding HIV/AIDS treatment for the past 10 years. Two years ago, they began flat funding and downsizing. That is why many of the services are no longer free. “Many do not have money to pay for drugs and treatment. Are we then saying that they should go to their graves? Nigeria has the highest burden of people living with the virus, yet foreigners are paying the bills. “The Federal Government contributes just five per cent, Global Fund gives 25 per cent and PEPFAR contributes 75 per cent. We know that if Nigeria wants to pick the bill, it has the resources. “The problem is that those at the helms of affairs in the country just do not want to do it. If Nigeria is truly sincere about HIV/AIDS, foreign governments should not be the major investor for over 10 years.” http://punchng.com/90-hiv-drugs-africa-come-india-unaids/ |

The above Signs of infidelity could also be applied to men too. Nice one dear OP. There was absolutely nothing left out in this well written masterpiece. |
Hello Laila, On the night of 28th of February 2016 at about 9pm, my wife told me our daughter was running temperature and we decided to watch her through the night and sponged her body intermittently till the next morning. It was rather strange because only few hours earlier our daughter Lolia was the heartbeat of the house and initiator of various plays with her cousins who came visiting. Early the next morning we prepped for work and creche as was our tradition the past 7months. Loli as fondly called by all had her cereal and we made a dash for the hospital. We got there just before 7am through the portharcourt traffic on the 29th of February , 2016. We had to wait for the staff to do their devotion and morning rituals before we were attended to. At about 8.30am a doctor in the consulting room examined her and said her tonsils were clear and her blood should be taken for test. The blood work came back after about 30mins, Loli has MALARIA+. The Doctor advised she should be admitted since she looked weak for faster recovery. And so our watch began!!! First 2 days were very worrisome as she threw up every 3hours especially after a meal or medication. On the Third day a man who says he is a Pediatrics specialist saw her in the evening and after few observations concluded Loli had MENINGITIS and ordered a change of drugs and treatment plan. Loli had become mute and slept long hours at this time for the next few days with a stiff neck that couldn't be moved voluntarily. Under strong protest and demand for referral from my wife and I, the same Dr. was called in from church to review her because no other Dr had seen her. Only nurses came to administer intravenous drugs. We got all assurances from the Dr. and resident Drs. that she was in perfect hands and the treatment for meningitis takes a long time. Long story short, we were there another 1week. Another Dr. read her case note and ordered a change of drugs. Lolia was placed on the new drugs and became worse very rapidly. Our little girl was no more. She got excess medications her system could barely cope. All of this Sadly happened without investigation by the Drs. We requested for her case note and medical report from the hospital management for onward dispatch to the American Embassy as part of the Embassy's requirements to process her death certificate and other necessities. The Hospital blew our minds to Jupiter and back. The report was falsified and yours truly, my wife and I were alleged culprits in her death. They claimed "...against medical advise parents discontinued intra nasal oxygen from child". They put down a number of tests they never did and claimed they did it all. On different occasions I was chased out of the hospital by the Dean of Doctors in that facility because I was demanding for her Case Note for independent review. He repeatedly said to me "Go and do your worst". #JusticeforLoli is a campaign to #SayNotoMedicalNegligence and seeks to get closure for my family as well as several other families who have lost a loved one and can't do anything about it just because the Drs. are untouchable, incompetent and unaccountable to the people they serve/treat or manage. The mere fact that people die avoidably in the hands of erring Drs. without appropriate investigation and sanctions is why medical practice is a sham in this clime. Loli was only 17months young and was our only Child who lit up our lives after 4long years of no issue when she died in a facility that claims to be specialists in Pediatrics care. I miss my Cute Little Texan Princess with the brightest Kalabari smile and mould. I solicit your kind support for this cause not out of vengeance but to save the lives of millions out here in our hospitals. Medical Practitioners must be accountable for their services. My Name is EBI PAX HARRY, are you with me on this? http://www.lailasblog.com/2016/07/justice4loli-little-baby-who-died.html?m=1

How to check for leaks It is important to do the following every gas cylinder change without fail. All you need to detect a leak is soapy water, a sponge or spray bottle and good lighting. Turn on the valve and either soap the valve and hose down or spray with a spray bottle. If you see bubbles appear, you have found your leak. Here’s a video demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YjoLGIOA5Y It is important that you check at home, as well as at the depot, as the connections between your cooker and the gas cylinder also need to be checked. As you can see, safety is only a sponge, soap and know-how away. The more people aware of how to keep these units safe for use, the more potential lives saved. Therefore, please share this post with those you know who use domestic gas for cooking. http://www.mymetrong.com/preventing-cooking-gas-explosions-without-specialised-equipment/ |
Safety Back to Bode. After several rounds of questioning and introspection, it was clear that his misfortune had come as a result of some faulty tubing connecting the cylinder to the cooker. If as little as 2% of LPG leaks out, it will form a flammable mixture with air. Within a confined space with no adequate ventilation, this can very easily cause an explosion. Hoses and tubing on gas cylinders are one of the weakest points in the system, and it is important to pay attention to keeping these as safe for use as possible. One would be surprised at how easy it is to ensure safety, and how simplistic the safety instructions are, compared to the damage caused annually. The experts at Calor suggest: *Keeping the tubing away from bright sunlight, dampness, abrasion and heavy weights. *Replaces hoses every 5 years, as they are manufactured with a lifespan of 5 years *Store the cylinders in a place where you have good ventilation. This is because LPG is heavier than air, and gravity ensures that it will flow along floors and and settle in pockets in the ground (if any). As a result, a leak and an ignition source are the only requirements for an explosion to occur. In addition to this, an unchecked leak will cause air to be displaced, increasing the chances of suffocation. |
