First bank pays 3.6% pa payable monthly on ordinary savings account making HIDA unattractive anymore
InvestmentDiamond Bank HIDA ACCT Crashed To 4% On 1m Pa by divinelove(op): 2:15pm On Mar 08, 2016
HIDA is a special deposit account designed for individuals who are saving for a project or wish to keep away some funds for the rainy day while fully maximizing credit interest earned on their savings. HIDA encourages real savings in that it does not come with a debit card thereby discouraging frequent withdrawals. With a minimum opening balance of ₦100,000, it is designed for individuals who wish to invest their funds while enjoying the flexibility of multiple withdrawals without credit interest forfeiture.

HIDA customers enjoy tiered interest rates, meaning the larger the balance, the higher the interest earned. Interest earned per annum accrues daily on available credit balance and is payable monthly.

Here is why it could be right for you:

You earn highly competitive interest rates per annum on your available balances payable monthly. This simply means the more you save the more you earn:

oLess than ₦100,000 - 2% p.a.

o₦100,000 - ₦499,999 - 3.5% p.a.

o₦500,000 - ₦999,999 - 3.75% p.a.

o₦1 million and above - 4.0% p.a.

Please can we get something better and flexible as HIDA lets discuss, how are you keeping your idle fund while thinking of suitable investment. Before Buhari assumed office HIDA pays as much as 8% pa on 1m tongue

shift to neutral is a wrong move, rather downshift to ur lowest gear

remove ur foot from accelerator immediately dont kw y u said gradually n hold firmly on ur steering. dont try to switch off engine or else you lose power steering.

if u must buy tokunbo tires make sure they are not more than 2years n discard after 2yrs of use

avoid speeding into pot holes bc they will burst your tires even if u bought them brand new few minutes ago
FamilyRe: Can I Get Married With This Income In Abeokuta, Ogun State? by divinelove(m): 12:04pm On Feb 26, 2016

Hello,

Am Kelvin, am based in Abeokuta, Ogun state where I work with a Firm that pays me N50,000 monthly after tax and pension. I try as much as possible to engage in other online businesses that do not affect my office work and i make close to N50,000 monthly as well. Though this varies.

I notice that most times, I am only able to save 40-50K monthly despite being in a low cost City like Abeokuta. But at least i save often.

Am close to 30 and contemplating marriage and I dont know if my income will be enough to sustain myself, wife and maybe kids as they come in. Or it will be advisable to leave the job and seek a better/high paying job

I will like to get your candid opinions

Thank You
Yes u can but u will suffer like job except ur wife is working and supportive angry truth b told postpone marriage until u can make at least 100k monthly

ricy20:
what if you don't make the exams
well you will sit for examination in three subjects for example
BIOLOGY
PHYSICS
CHEMISTRY

A, B, C, D, E, F grade will be awarded to u based on ur exam scores and points will be 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.

so for three subjects the maximum points will be 15 + 1 bonus point = 16points

with as little as 9points ie D, C, C grades you will get admitted into 2nd year

lets say u failed and get E, E, E ie 4points u are sure of getting admission too in some schools

u only failed woefully if u have F, F, F ie 0point shocked

NB: provided u didnt make F grade in your subjects u will be given 1 bonus point
