please doctors in the house and any Rhesus negative mamas too, first doctor told me I would be taking the rhogam injection after every child birth, second doctor said the injection is just once in a life time, and I finally read online that it should be taken at mid pregnancy and after delivery at every child birth... I'm confused o, I took one after my first baby. Please help me chook mouth o.

am Rhesus negative, took the rhogam a day after delivery because I gave birth at night , the following morning the drug was delivered .Also, my consultant said is after every delivety.

during my antenal days , some of the doctors are of the view that it should be taken @ 28 weeks . I think it depends on your doctor and your body too.

Thank God with me as my baby boy arrived this morning. It was not easy but it was worth it. All glory and honour to God. Mum and son are doing great.

good pm everyone. TESTIMONY! TESTIMONY! TEDTIMONY! Help me thank and praise the lord for i tested positive this morning on pregnancy test strip. i thank the lord for blessing me once more after i lost my son early this year in the hospital two days after birth due to prolonged labour. I shall carry my pregnancy to term and deliver safely. i shall never cast my young again in Jesus name. ttc mothers your testimonies are om the way. Welcome me to this trade ones more. Have forgotten how to calculate EDD, my last menstrual flow is on July 29th. my edd should be April or may i guess? someone shoud help me out pls

Mama's please come to my aid
1.) My 11 day old baby boy is growing breast. I noticed the enlarged breast about 5 days ago. Googled it and was told it is hormone from mother's breast milk and that it will go on its own. Has any mama in the house witnessed this?

2.) Baby has totally rejected breast milk. Recal I told u it took 4 days for the breast to start flowing. He was started with formula , so when the BM started flowing , I was feeding with both. I noticed he starts sleeping as soon as he puts his mouth on the breast and sucks few seconds. Now, he doesn't suck at all. He either fights to remove the breast from his mouth, or He plays with the nipple. I thought maybe the bm does flow well and he is tired of sucking with little or no milk flowing. I expressed the breast milk with hand and mixed with his formula. He rejected it. He didn't rush it as he did with the sma gold. He later took some and didn't finish the normal quantity he used to take after a very long while.
It is now obvious the issue is that he doesn't like the BM . Any solution ?

2. had same experience with my dd. she sleeps with the niople in her mouth and shouth after a while. I came in here to ask and was told to continue putting her to breast, was also told to express the bm . with time she changed , now she sucks well and more than formula. don't give up.

Maybe she's not full. Breastfeed for longer or express. What you think is coming out well may not be enough for her

I started giving my baby formula (NAN 1) because my bm was not coming out. Have tried severally to stop the formula but she will always shout until I give her the formula after breastfeeding , sometimes 20-30 minutes after breastfeeding. Today's own was worst, I concluded that I won't give the formula today but at last I couldn't hold it because of her cry. meanwhile my bm is coming out well. she is just 3 weeks and 5 days.
please mamas is there something else I need to do?

typicaltemi, not until you make up your mind not to listen to unsolicited advices,people will nearly make you crazy. I was given the same advice, someone even recently asked me to buy "Gbomoro" and I said okay. The babyrex mixture I have sef is just there because my SIL bought it and when she asks I tell her we are using it,soon I'll throw it away and tell her it's finished. Funniest thing is that I read the leaflet in it and didn't see anything like "teething" sef on the pack.

My baby boy arrived early this morning at 3:30am weighing 3.2kg with a small cut.
Bs later. The induction no be here. I went to heaven and came back. Membrane ruptured at 2cm , baby passed meconium and as such I was not allowed to move around as fetal heart rate was actively being monitored for distress.

Ma'am I wanted to tell you the same thing but was too lazy to type . My MIL too place my baby to sleep in that position and whenever I notice, I hardly have rest of mind. I will just be roaming about in the name of checking baby I know she is experienced and she watches over her when she does and baby will sleep longer. But as for me, I can't even risk it...she told my dh that I am scared cos I'm a ftm and I told them yes I am because I don't have a baby to gamble with.

Babies should only sleep on their belly when they have full neck control to avoid sudden infant death syndrome.

may God help us. I have stopped it today.

The fact that your baby sleep longer in that position doesn't make it safe. Please do not leave a baby in that position unsupervised.

Gd afternoon to the great mums and dads in this forum.
I decree up you that the good Lord that answered me when I least expect it will take you all unawares. you will not only conceive but will carry to term without any morning sickness. You will never call the name of God in vain. Those that trust in the Lord are like mountain Zion......... your trust in Him will yield positive result in this season. May God release His breeze of fruitfulness upon this room as you call on Him. None of you will escape the bliss!. as you call upon God every negative medical report shall be nullified!!! How it will happen you will not know. God that works in a mysterious way will give you all mysterious testimonies !
I await your testimonies and quick transfer to preggy thread.

I don't know if I should call this a BS, but just to appreciate the women here for being strong always.
Wifey put to bed yesterday at about 5.33pm, mother and baby girl are doing fine. Our last scan was Saturday 4th of August baby's weight was a 3.4kg at 40 weeks. The doctors relied on that scan report to say if my wife didn't fall into labour during the week she would be induced. Tuesday no labour yet, so she was admitted and induced. Wednesday morning the contractions had started but we discussed with the doctor to do a CS but he said her pelvic was fine to deliver the baby.

My wife kept complaining that the pains was too much she dilated from 2cm to 8cm at 3pm. I had to go drag the doctor when I realized the pain was too much for my wifey. Doctor checked her to see if she had gotten to 10cm, only for him to say she wouldn't be able to push out the baby and suggested they carry out an emergency surgery. Something we should have done earlier instead of all the pains she went through.
At 4.35pm or thereabouts she was stretched to the theatre and we thank God mother and child are doing good.

My daughter weighed 4kg at birth, all thanks to coldstone, pizza and sweetened doughnuts. My wife always craved sweet things and if I didn't provide she would sulk all day [I have learned though]. Baby is currently under observation as she didn't cry immediately after birth.

Was told yesterday that she would only be on IV fluid to watch her. But today after the paediatrician saw her and checked her, he said she need food and they have started feeding her. Said she's doing much better.

This is our first child and we are grateful to God. Fatherhood is bliss.

I thank God for His faithfulness in my life. My marriage will be 8 years by September 11. TTC for 5 years, had my first conception 2015 which I lost and had another miscarriage 2016.
This pregnancy was a miracle. Have to let go and let God. I removed my mind completely from TTC. Alas! The pregnancy came. The pregnancy journey was do smooth, no morning sickness. The devil wanted to strike again in my 14th week but God intervened.
Fast forward to 24th July (exactlly 38 weeks)
My water broke around 2am on Tuesday, 24th July meanwhile I was asked to do scan and ogtt test in my previous appointment. I was to do the tests on that Tuesday against Thursday, my next appointment. As jjc , I went for the ogtt since is an early hour test after which I went to report myself at the labour ward. They shouted and said I would have come since that my baby might be at risk of getting infected. I never knew I was in labour too, was having normal mild movement in my system ooo though been praying for painless labor. The doctor asked the nurse to check me , that was how they shouted that am in labour.
The mild contraction continued while they tied something round my tommy( used to monitor baby's heart beat). Have gotten to 6cm when doctor shouted that the baby heart beat is faster than normal, that they wouldn't want to give chances, that I will be going in for cs. My husband just left hospital. Was asked to call him back to sign for the cs which I did. After like 2 minutes the doctor came back and said that they can't wait for my husband , I was asked if I can read and write, I said yes. I signed the consent. They rushed me to the theatre. In less than few minutes my princess was brought out crying her lungs out. My husband rushed to the ward for the signing only for him to see the baby. He was very happy and said I took the right decision.
I was discharged on monday 30th, while my baby was still on admission for jaundice. Baby was discharged on the 1st of August.
It can only be God. I remain greatful to God for his mercy, Grace, favour......
