Good morning, bro, I didn't update that cos I don't need to, I don't have a new DS160, immediately I knew the previous portal was going down, I updated the application number then, what I meant by update now is just that I edited some information on my ds160, and I am hoping the new information added will get to them when I submit my DS160 form today.

Good morning house, please I need some advice, firstly I have an interview date for next week 11th, I don't know if the embassy observes a holiday been a special date Sep 11th, Secondly, I just updated my DS 160 now cos my uncle that invited me just dropped his contact details to enable me fill the form, I hope it will be updated from their end since the old portal is not accessible again, I have added my application ID before the portal was closed. Lastly, I was refused in 2017, I can remember the month, I have the refusal letter but I cant find it at the moment, I am hoping to quote my application ID, but since I cant find it, can I just type in the box I was refused 2017, hoping that it will be sufficient?

Thanks, I have been hoping to get a similar case like this, mine was relating to bank statement, the officer mentioned that the bank narration of a month salary was different to the other months, it amazed me, I was hoping to travel with my cousin this month but it couldnt we decided to wait some more months so when we print this month will be off, some times this people wakes up from the wrong side of the bed

1. the first paragraph i believe is a mistake form the deciding officer, because the information you provided as regards your monthly salary was different from what he/she quoted in the response.
2. Did you show a breakdown of how you want to spend the 1.1M naira with proof ? like cost of air ticket (dummy booking with cost), hotel booking (also with cost), budget for transport, feeding and miscellaneous
If you did all these and you are sure that the info you gave about your monthly salary is correct and can be backed up in your statement of account (as the officer did not complain about your bank statement), then your can apply for appeal on the claim that there was an error from the visa officer

Thanks Boss, he is so yeye that they refused and banned the other guys since Feb and Mar, despite calling and calling for updates He didn't disclose any thing, until he was threatened, but i no blame am, na we carry ourself go meet am, hoping to get direct work, I can stake that if i had submitted this Visitors visa myself i would have gotten it, since I started following visa forums here i have gotten over 5 visitors visas myself UK and Schengen.

@Ashirioluwa Thank you for the response Boss, I now understand fully, I will declare this and my previous UK and USA refusal in my next application, I hope the note didn't say I was refused a Canadian application prior to this? cos I have never applied to Canada before now, only USA in 2017, then UK in 2013 & 2019 refused. I saw a text on the last page that says: TEXT: Previous visa application(s) not declared. Application refused: A16(1) Truthful

This is my actually concern and wanted to be sure if I read rightly and to be sure of how to address and mention my refusals.

From the GCMS note, it shows that you applied for a visitor visa in 2022, not a work permit, as you claimed.

The good part is that you were not banned; therefore, you're good to apply again, but make sure you declare this Canada visa refusal and any other refusals in your next application.

Good morning, everyone. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could kindly clarify the content of this note for me. I want to be certain that I fully understand the situation.

In August 2022, I and four of my friends were introduced to an agent who was supposed to assist us with obtaining a Canadian working visa. We each made a partial payment, and the agent guided us through the required steps, including medical examinations and biometrics. However, as we kept asking for updates, we received no response, and it seemed like the agent was not concerned because he had already received money from the initial deposits made by five individuals.

In the end, after much pressure, he provided the first person with a refusal note. This note indicated inadmissibility and misrepresentation, which caused alarm for all of us. Consequently, we continued to pressurize him to provide the remaining refusal notes. Eventually, it was revealed that four of us had been declared inadmissible for a period of five years. However, in my case, I received a refusal but still have concerns. This is why I requested a GCMS note, which I learned about from a student platform.

I have also applied to NSCC, although I have not received a response from them yet. I submitted my transcript on October 3rd, with it being fast-tracked. I want to ensure that I do not waste any more time and that, in case I receive an offer of admission, I will not encounter any issues related to this previous refusal. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in understanding this situation. Thank you.

Good day house, I will like to seek some advice regards applying for 6 months visit visa at this present time when Oanda rate is equal to black market and salary is at 500k, monthly expenses is 100k, intended to spend 750k on travel expenses, closing balance is 2.8M for 6 months, travel experience Kenya, Qatar & Kenya.

My fear is just the rate, I believe this wouldn’t av been a problem when the rate stood at 560.

Understand that if you just paid into the dollar account esp. after 12 pm you can't access the money till the following day.

Yes it happens once in a while like this, you can use the option of assisted service appointments by paying 13k instead of 40k for prime time appointments, but it is not a bad deal too as far as you got ur preferred date.

I met one man at Ikeja centre some weeks ago on the queue he said you re required to pay I can’t just remember the figure

If you are applying from VI, You are to pay a stipulated 55 pounds fee. I do not think same applies for Ikeja center. Please correct me if i am wrong.

I understand una fear, but be calm just give it 14-17 days after biometrics, if you don’t get a collection mail you then av reason to be scared, for now don’t stress calculate ur 2wks + 4 days max you should get ur mail

Good morning, my piece of advice, apply as tourist, I saw a reject on 20th Feb 2023, application was refused cos she didn’t proof relationship with claimed uncle, though the main reason for refusal was cos they couldn’t get to the employer to confirm her employment.

But if you can prove the relationship with conversations, you can give it a try.

You will need to confirm with your branch bank, maybe talk to someone, normally banks send names of those that applied and have been approved to CBN for disbursement, but if you meet someone in your bank, the person can watch for you and let you know when your name is approved or listed to get disbursed to, I mean the exact date you will need to come pick up the funds.

I believe you will get a mail soon, it is not up to 2 wks yet, you might even get mail you got before again but don’t be worried, there is no exact time, but it shouldn’t exceed 18days from all the testimonies here, I believe yours will not exceed 24th or 27th. by God grace you will get a good news.

Okay because I only got a mail from Uk customer service that my visa application has arrived at the decision making centre and now awaiting consideration that was Feb 11th and my bio was feb 8th. Since that day I haven’t heard from them or gotten another mail

I got my first 6 months visa in june 2022 like same days, 6 workings days and my brother got his 2 years renewal in 13 days, I used an invite he used hotel i dont know why my came faster, but we applied in like a week in June same day, i guess the sytem wasnt rugged like this then also maybe there wasnt plenty student application too.

I decided to drop this here to encourage also to share my experience, I got my first 6 months visa in June 2022 and it expired Dec 30th, 2022, I had travel experience to Zanzibar and Dubai, a month before I applied for the 6 months visa, I traveled to the UK in September and stayed 2 weeks, I traveled again to Kilimanjaro Dec 27th via Rwandair, there was a delay at the airport so they gave me a transit visa to and fro, I got back to Lagos 12th January 2023, meanwhile before I traveled on December, 2 of my cousins submitted their application and I helped them cos they believed I was in the right place to do cos I have done one for myself before successfully, I felt so much they were going to get the visa but it didn't happen like that, one got his as a student going for a post-graduate program but the other with visitors visa, wife and daughter didn't get theirs, I dropped their refusal notice then.

This situation got me so scared coupled with other people's refusal testimonies here between December and the first 2 weeks in January 2023, I intended to apply immediately after I got back to Nigeria, and I canceled my application even now I have not gotten my refund for Priority visa service. so I decided to give it a try again when I noticed some people are giving some positive news also I think the refusal rate was high then cos the quota of visas to be issued was over the amount given to the students and they needed to balance it up somewhere. MY VIEW,

I did my biometric on January 31st, 2023, I got a collection mail on the 17th of Feb, DHL delivered my passport the next day.
I printed and submitted used/unused and expired visas cos I have a new passport
I submitted my financial and employment evidence
I submitted a flight reservation
My house tenancy agreement
I submitted a hotel reservation for the duration of my stay but at the time of uploading a few days to the biometric HOTEL RESERVATION got canceled by booking.com, this gave me serious pressure and doubt, and I wanted to cancel the application again but I came here and sought opinion, someone said I should book another and write reasons why I have 2 hotel meanwhile I filled just one in my form so I did so.

I also submitted three-month payslips just to prove my opening balance, cos I had like 3.2M and a closing of 5.4M, I claimed I have monthly expenses of 100K. There was no time in both applications that I sent to what I claimed.

When I had the first 6 months, I have an opening balance of 300k, and a closing balance of 2.850M whereas I claim to spend 100k monthly, my total debit transaction then was just 160+K for 6 months, I think I was just lucky then or the person that treated my application was cool-headed.

I have a total debit transaction of like 400K plus on my last application, I withdrew close to 200k in January just to reach that amount cos I was scared the ECO will start calculating all my expenses, but it didn't go like that. I think cos I have travel experiences helped me or I was just lucky or maybe I believed that there is less pressure this period with no student application yet.

I appreciate everyone who is here to quickly drop some info to guide and encourage, God bless you all, Thanks Ololade Mr. Money, and other OGs you're doing well, you have pushed me to leave that I will not get scared again

I advise anyone that will like to apply for a visitor visa to do so between periods they don't have students' application cos there is less pressure on them, in my view. Also, we reapplied one of the refusals I posted last month and left the other cos I don think it stands a chance yet as soon as there is a result I will share it again.

11-20 days unless there is a problem, you should get a reply between 22nd -24th

I think they have 2 option, either they pay in your prepaid card or dorm account, depends on what you want and provided, but my dorm account was credited.

The whole process was like 6-7 weeks to travel date, I did it at my bank branch, Gtbank, I know someone but I don’t think there was much influence cos some got hers done in 6 working days.
