All rights reserved "Bosco count me out" "Shey you no hear say the man just purchase a new gun?" "Brand new double barrel from obodo oyinbo" These were the words spoken to challenge Bosco's declaration. The small group immediately voiced their concern about the suicide mission of attacking Chief Okoli's house. "Make una listen, the man get money and he no dey use bank. All the money from his Onistha trade, dey inside that his house. Once we do this one, all of us go find our level go start business." Bosco said. "If una never tire for small small money, me don tire" he added. I just sit at one corner of the room listening carefully without speaking a word. Whatever decision they take is fine by me. I need money. My life cannot continue to be like this and if robbing Chief Okoli's house will solve my problem, then am game. Our little group of Six members including Bosco who is the brain and muscle of the group started operation less than a month ago. We have done seven operations, most of which were snatching of bag using motorcycles. It has been paying off. But the money is not enough to start a good business for any of us. Our foray into the world of stealing began when Sunday discovered his father's old guns. Although they were old, they are Awka made guns; the best locally made guns available in this part of the country. When he proposed to our group of friends that, we should contribute money to refurbish the guns so we could start hunting inside Idemili forest, we all agreed. At least it will keep us busy with the hope of getting something for our stomach. But after countless hunting expedition, we all came to a conclusion that hunting is not our calling. So, it was with mixed feelings when Bosco announced that we use the guns to rob his uncle who is going to purchase goods in Onitsha the next morning. We opposed at first but when he told us his air-tight plans we reluctantly agreed since the money is well over one hundred thousand naira. Our first 'Rambo-like' operation went without any problems, so was the second, and now we are planning the eighth, which seems bigger than we can handle. Emeka and Oke stood up saying they will have no part in our suicide mission. They beckoned on me to join them and leave Bosco with his deadly plans. But I have pressing issues that requires lots of money to fix. The way my life had pan out, is not enviable and things must change. While my mates are getting married and having shops in Aba and Owerri, I am stuck in this village chasing rodents with these fools. "Emeka abeg I go stay, man must take risk to survive. Una never even listen to wetin Bosco plan, una just begin fear." I said to the duo. "Which kain yeye plan Bosco wan get to block pellets from a new double barrel gun? The only way I I go join una na if we get 'odechi' or 'otumopo', but as we no get, me no fit risk as am o. Person wey dey alive still get hope." He said as he dashed out of the room with his bulldog Oke tagging along. Nonetheless, we went ahead with our plans, which will be well excuted since we dont have much people. Less members means less exposure and more money. We could also disappear quickly without fear of leaving one behind. On the d-day, we dressed in our usual black dresscode and painted our face black. It will be a simple operation. We will enter the house through the back door that is always open according to information Bosco got from his slowpoke girlfriend. We will proceed to the sitting room through the kitchen, then get Chief Okoli's only daughter to knock on her father's door. And once we have Chief, our operation is as good as done with. Our plans was going smoothly as planned, we have gotten Chief Okoli's daughter to knock on the door, but no reply. She knocked severally without a single response from inside, Bosco decided to open the door and then our ordeal began. The room was empty, there was nobody inside. We got confused and scared and in the situation Felix the short demon shouted on the girl to stop fooling us and take us to her father's room. She started sobbing loudly, i held her mouth and calmed her down. She informed amid pleads not to hurt her father that he should be inside any of his wives' rooms. As we turned to approached the door to our right, the door on the left room flung opened and Chief Okoli could be seen in the semi-darkness clutching his gun, he shot immediately into the wall as he saw his daughter with strange men in his sitting room. We scattered, the disappearance of my fellows shocked me and for a split second I thought I would be shot until I saw a space at the back of the cupboard housing various electronic gadgets and books, I ducked behind as more shots rang out. Chief Okoli gave a hot chase to the other members while I sat, frozen in fear behind the cupboard. My legs failed to connect with my brain as the fear of a certain death crippled me. The shots and commotion woke the whole neighborhood and and men with different types of dane guns could be seen and heard in and out of the sitting room and in the compound. Chief Okoli's power generating set had been turned on and he was recounting the events of the night to his fellow age group. I am still here behind the cupboard, soaked in fear. Minutes turned into hours as the excitement and frenzy of the events had wiped sleep off the face of Chief Okoli's family. I was hoping they will go back to sleep as the day is still young which will facilitate my escape, but here I am, stuck in between the Lion and a pack of Wolves. Chief Okoli's second wife is obviously the mother of the girl we held to knock on doors, the way she pets and pats the girl, asking her numerous questions at once, indicates she is the mother. "They want to kill my child for me, their plans in this family will not work, they will be disgraced. Anofia!! " The second wife blurted out while consoling her daughter. "They have sons, I have sons too, but they don't have a daughter and they want to kill my only daughter for me, their plans in this family will not work. Unless my Chi is dead" She added "Hey woman, go inside with your daughter and stop looking for trouble. Instead of you to thank God that the hoodlums did not achieve their plans you are here blaming another person" Chief Okoli replied his second wife. But she continued her line of fire "Hey!! Nna those men are not hoodlums, Chief, those men are hired killers, they want to kill you and my daughter but my God has prevailed" "Woman!!! I say get inside and let me rest" Chief blurted out. She dashed immediately into her room. So here I am on this Saturday morning hidden behind a cupboard of television, files and other electronic appliances. Here I am waiting looking for an opportunity to dash into the kitchen and flying into the bush behind the compound. According to Chief, police were on their way to come and survey and find out what truly happened. I know for sure that if and when the police arrived, I may be discovered because the police knows how to snoop where their nose doesn't belong to. I have to leave before the police come. Should I make a run for it? What if there are men with guns in the compound drinking to the successful repelling of the robbery? I was contemplating on what to do when the first wife brought food, set it down on the center table. "Nna ayin, your food is ready and set." The first wife called out and left the sitting room. Other people in the sitting room followed suit and the room became empty. I was about springing up when the second wife crept into the room, she looked left and right and then unfold her wrapper and brought out 'abashi'. She poured it into her husband's food and silently walked backed to her room. 'Abashi' is a potent poison known to cause deep sleep that leads to death. It is used by hunters to kill wild and big animals like elephant and rhinoceros, they find their path and then place food laced with Abashi on it. So this woman wants to kill her husband and the first wife will be blamed for it. According to our culture, a woman guilty of killing her husband will be banished and made an outcast (osu). The second wife wants she and her children to inherit chief's property and wealth while the first wife and her sons will languish in poverty for a crime she knows nothing of. All these I observed and thought of in my hideout behind the cupboard. My dilemma is, should I watch the Chief eat this potent food and die while hoping that the police don't arrive while he is eating? Or should I warned the Chief about the poisoned food and hopes he recognises my gestures by letting me go? Chief Okoli holds a record for killing surrendered robbers while he was a member of the village vigilante group. Will the Chief pardon me for saving his life, or he will hand me over to the police or he will just shoot me point blank as his rifle is still with him. <<<<<Great minds, help me to complete this story. What should our trapped robber do? >>>> |
The recent postponement of the 2015 General election and the comments of the double barrel mouthed PDP bulldog Doyin Okupe, that less than 50 percent of those with Permanent Voters Card (PVC) will eventually cast their votes . It is Pertinent that the devaluation of the voters card to only voting is important. When INEC postponed the election, a lot of conspiracy theories about the real reasons came up; among which are security, Interference from PDP and the need for time for the ruling party to plan their rigging strategy. But recent revelations have shown that INEC is not ready and there is massive uneven distribution of the PVC. But the core issue is that most people who dashed to collect their PVC are not planning to go out of their home on election date talkless of voting. This is a huge waste of resources used in producing the card and a waste of manpower. But why the attitude of collection without use? This is bore out of Nigerians attitude towards things that involves government. My mother almost dragged me down to the registration centre, because she was convinced that I will miss out of any goodies later in life if and when they enquire for my voters card. Unfortunately so many Nigerians hold this same thought. They got their PVC and locked it away in their box never to be use for its primary objective. In addition Cooperate bodies, organisations and banks recognises voters card as a legal means of identification. For total turnout and the maximum utilization of resources and manpower on election preparation and election day, Federal government and INEC needs to devalue the importance of the Voters card to only voting. They need to come out and denounce that the government will never demand for the card from job seekers, contractors etc. That way people with the aim to vote will only register and collect their PVC. Frankly it's is criminal in my view that 100 people will collect PVC and only 40 will vote. All in the aim to use the voters card as an identity card or to seek jobs. That is unfair to INEC, the tax payers and to ourselves. Or what do you guys think? |

HOW Ekiti Election was rigged How Obanikoro, Fayose, Chris Uba And Brig. General Momoh Rigged Ekiti Governorship Election In Collusion With The Nigerian Army The 37-minute recording details the conversation between these PDP leaders and politicians as they bribed Brigadier General Momoh with a promotion for his assistance in carrying out election fraud in Ekiti. In it, Obanikorois clearly heard informing the group of men, “[I] am not here for a tea party, am on special assignment by the President.” SaharaReporters has received unimpeachable documents and audio recordings providing substantial evidence that major Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders planned and successfully rigged the gubernatorial elections in Ekiti State and plotted a similar scenario in Osun in 2014. The audio recordings and affidavit were provided by Sagir Koli, a Captain in the 32nd Artillery Brigade stationed in Ekiti State, who has since fled the country for fear of retaliation. Capt. Koli recorded the conversation on 20th June 2014 when he was asked to accompany his Commanding Officer, Brigadier General Aliyu Momoh, to the meeting. The venue was held at Spotless Hotel in Ado-Ekiti. The audio recordings depict the meeting as being attended by the eventual “winner” of the election, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti; Senator Iyiola Omisore; a man identified as Honorable Abdulkareem; the Minister for Police Affairs Caleb Olubolade; and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro who was at the time the Minister of State for Defence. Mr. Chris Uba came to Ekiti with huge stash cash and soldiers from the East to carry out the assignment. The 37-minute recording details the conversation between these men as they bribed Brigadier General Momoh with a promotion for his assistance in carrying out election fraud in Ekiti. In it, Obanikoro is clearly heard informing the group of men, “[I] am not here for a tea party, am on special assignment by the President.” SaharaReporters further received credible intelligence that President Goodluck Jonathan had instructed the Chief of Defense Staff, Alex Badeh, to use the army in arresting and intimidating opposition politicians before and during the election. The audio recording provides exact details of the plot, with the collaborators almost degenerating into physical combat. Authentication of Audio Recordings and Proof of Election Fraud The audio recordings were analyzed and authenticated by Guardian Consulting, an independent US-based security consulting company. According to a report authored by Guardian Consulting, also in the possession of SaharaReporters, the independent company used Forensic Voice Frequency Comparison technology to identify all voices on the recording with audio available in the public domain. The then Deputy Defense Minister, Obanikoro clearly states to General Momoh that he was not only sent to the meeting by President Jonathan, but “you can’t get a promotion without me sitting on top of your military council. If I am happy tomorrow night, the sky is your limit.” Governor Fayose revealed that he had already bribed an official of the Independent National Election Commission (INEC), the non-political commission charged with organizing elections in Nigeria, to bring copies of voter ballots with the INEC logo to him that day. Fayose, upset that his INEC contact was caught in traffic, narrated his day’s frustrations: “Where are we supposed to be collating the thing INEC gave to us? Soft copies we now printed? Why is my [INEC] contact not with [the ballots]… my contact man [was] sitting in the check point…it took me more than two hours to get this man.” As the plotters began to argue, Omisore, who was running for Governor of Osun State on the PDP ticket, tried to calm the room: “I would just say that we don’t have to argue so much, we have seen some lapses [today] yes. It’s just this evening, there is nothing happening now that we cannot contain before tomorrow morning.” Plans to Rig Elections in Favor of PDP The eyewitness testimony and sworn affidavit by Capt. Koli corroborates the audio recordings of the PDP officials’ plans to manipulate the Ekiti elections. The plotters devised several plans intended to bring about an unlawful victory for PDP candidates in Ekiti State races, including the forging of INEC ballots, the use of the military to facilitate access for PDP operatives and supporters, the creation of a list of APC members to be arrested, and the deployment of a Special Team of military personnel to prevent APC voters from reaching the polls. The PDP officials told General Momoh that those soldiers on election duty “must work hand-in-hand with the PDP agents” and ordered the arrest of selected APC stalwarts as that could “greatly assist the party during the election including DG campaign organization for Dr. Fayemi, Mr. Bimbo Daramola,” Capt. Koli said in his affidavit. General Momoh, confronted with criticism by the group, defended himself by saying that “we have done a lot of [APC] arrests.” It would be recalled that there were arrests of APC members in Ekiti during the period. It would also be recalled that many members of the security offices paraded around Ekiti in disguise. The PDP collaborators also demanded that the military block APC members’ access to the electorate and that moles should “be careful because the consequence will be severe.” Soldiers were instructed set up roadblocks leading to the polling stations and prevent APC supporters’ access. Additionally, vehicles and individuals with a special sticker labeled “National Security Task” were allowed movement anywhere, and were only distributed to PPD aagents General Momoh informed the group that there were “about 6 special teams. I have one strike force. I have almost forty soldiers after deployment,” evidently an organized system being used to manipulate voter turnout. Capt. Koli’s statement explained that based on these strategies, “they succeeded in rigging the Ekiti State election with victory in all the 16 Local Governing Authorities (LGAs). These really inspired them and they were with the euphoria that same would happen in Osun State.”Indeed, leading into the Osun State elections the Brigadier General posted there was told to take a three-week leave during the elections. His position was temporarily filled by General Momoh, who then repeated the same fraudulent tactics in Osun. Retaliation Against Captain Sagir Koli SaharaReporters was provided with additional evidence that proves the military retaliated against Capt. Koli when he released this information. Capt. Koli fled before he was arrested, but the military arrested, secretly detained, and chained his brother Adamu to a bed for nearly five months at the Adekunle Fanjuyi’s Cantonment. In an exclusive phone interview with from his hideout outside Nigeria, Capt. Koli told SaharaReporters that his brother was starved for periods of time and sometimes “fed worms.” Adamu was only released after a petition, which is also in possession of SaharaReporters, was submitted to the National Human Rights Commission by Barrister Chief K. Akinola Ajayi. The treatment of Capt. Koli’s brother was so poor during his illegal confinement that he had to be hospitalized due to malnutrition. SaharaReporters contacted Nigerian Defense spokesperson, General Chris Olukolade as well as Nigerian Army spokesperson, Col. SK Usman, for comment on tthi sstory Both officials promised to get back to us but never did. http://saharareporters.com/2015/02/05/how-obanikoro-fayose-chris-uba-and-brig-general-momoh-rigged-ekiti-governorship-election |

So it's a month and two weeks from my marriage to my lovely girlfriend. Plans have been going on and a lot is being achieved. I have met my fiancée's family except her immediate younger sister and I must say that they are very hospitable and warm. My fiancee's younger sister stays in the southern part of Nigeria and I have heard quite a lot about her raunchy and fast paced life which I must admit is quite different from my girlfriend's bottled up life. One Saturday morning, my fiancée call me to inform me that her sister is around and would like me to met her. I told her that I will make it in the afternoon before the 4:00 football match, so I will watch the Arsenal v Stoke game in their house since her dad is a staunch Arsenal supporter. After my house chores (single guys can be clean too) I tossed on a shirt and a black trousers, got into my car headed for my fiancée's house. I branched by the supermarket to get wine (for the family dinner which I know will be forced to wait for), box of chocolate for my fiancée's sister and ice cream for my fiancée. I drove as fast as traffic could allow as I was running late for the match kickoff. I was still battling with the surprise Saturday traffic bottleneck when my fiancée called to inform me that they are heading out to an impromptu family meeting but her sister will be around to welcome me and am free to watch my match. They will return in the evening before 7pm. Nothing spoil so I continue on my journey. The match has already started before I got there. I dashed into the house, met and introduced myself. The sister welcomed me and I proceeded to watch my match. Arsenal was leading already thanks to Koscielny's goal. I was enjoying fine display of football from my darling Arsenal when I heard a scream from the living room. I quickly jumped up and dashed to the source. I opened the door to the room without knocking. What I saw drained blood from my face. My fiancée's sister was naked except for a silky lace pant covering her woman fold. The boobs were heavenly and the tips were erect. "Come Samson, don't you wanna feel this?" she said as she squeezed her two lovely oranges. "Am gonna suck that big prick of yours that my sister refused to tell me about. Don't be scared, am not gonna tell anyone if you are not gonna tell. I just want your hot ice cream in me" Immediately she mentioned ice cream, I quickly remember the one I bought for my wife and forgot in the car. "Forget the damn ice cream, this is the real deal. Remember that you haven't had sex for six months? " my inner mind said. I advanced towards my fiancée's sister to feel her smooth angelic skin. Then I remember that I had no condom on me but in my cars pigeon hole, and if I pour my hot ice cream inside like she asked she will be pregnant cos am so full. I quickly dashed out of the room, pick up my car keys and proceeded to my cars as fast as my legs could carry me. I was fidgeting with the damn pigeon hole when I heard applause and sound of people from the house. As I lifted my head, I saw my fiancée's mom and dad with my fiancée rushing to hug me. "congratulations my boy, you have passed the ultimate test." said my fiancée's dad. My thoughts were running and confused. So it was a bleeping test and I had failed woefully, although only me was aware of that. "I always knew you were God's choice of a husband for me" my wife said as she drown me with kisses. "Mona (her sister) told me you have hot eyes when she saw your pictures, she said you cannot a woman. Thank God you proved her wrong". As I walked backed into the house smiling like a champion, I tried not to think of what would have happened if I had Failed. What would you have done? |
Re: NaijaOriginal Enough respect. Thanks for your kind words, you truly stirred something in me. |
Nice one...ama watchout for the rest. Pen on! |
All rights reserved. Copyright ©2015 I KILLED MY HUSBAND. (a short tragedy) "The Accused" The Pharmacist was looking at me like the hundreds of criminals she had attended to, the disgust in her eyes told me to quickly collect my drugs before she blame me for her inability to hold a man down for less than two weeks. I heard her tale just five hours into my stay at the hospital, from the woman taking care of the the boy with sickle cell anemia, she told me how frustrating she can be whenever she goes for drugs and according to the woman, "it is obvious her character is the thing chasing men away from her". "Take these, two times daily after you don chop and these ones before you sleep." The Pharmacist stern voice brought me back to reality. I quickly nodded in affirmation. There were more drugs to be given instructions on and if I had to stand there to listen to her judgemental and sarcastic voice, I may run mad. So I just told her "please can you write the instructions on the polythene?" She wanted to grump but when she saw that I too was not in the mood for her trouble she wrote the instructions, I took the drugs and left the hospital building. My journey to St Nicholas' Hospital began like a joke but I thank God I had the last laugh. I would have been in maximum security detention awaiting trial for a murder I know nothing of. I still couldn't believe am free. But that is a light one, I am still in shock that Aunty Tomi killed her husband. I advanced toward the bus stop gently because of the pain that emanated from the inhumane treatment I received from the police in their attempt to coerce me to confess to a crime I did not commit. I am going to see Aunty Tomi. But I may not be allowed to see her as the story is generating a lots of media attention. Various headlines like "Born Again sister kills husband in cold blood" "Murder in holy places" "Murder: Even the Rich Cry" etc graced the various newspapers and tabloids in town. According to the police, she is being held at Adigbe Police Headquarters and she is about to be transferred to the Investigation Department in Mango District. And that is where I hope to get a glimpse of my once dotted and sweet Aunty. She did committed the murder for which I was almost charged and killed. Aunty Tomi and my family have been friends since we moved to Adigbe Street. Her parents are billionaires and their imposing mansion is enough to scare away wannabes like me. But Aunty Tomi has a good and jovial heart. She relates with everybody irrespective of the background. I took a particular interest in her because, as an aspiring undergraduate, it is natural to mingle with a fresh graduate even if it's a master degree. I met her just as she returned from her master degree studies in Harvard University U.S. We bonded naturally and if not for her widely know love for Jesus Christ and the wide age difference between us, we would have been tagged lovers. Fast forward to the weeks before the event that almost ruined my life. Of course it was years after my meeting with Aunty Tomi and her family. I was a graduate who just concluded his youth service. Aunty Tomi had been married for three years to a handsome and adorable graphic designer. It was weeks to Christmas and everywhere was agog with preparation. As a tradition, Aunty Tomi and her husband spend the holidays with her parents. I too always prefer their house because of its comfort, unending monetary gifts and free flow of food. All I do is occasional running of errands too sensitive for the driver and households staffs. The Smiths trusts me like a son and there is no room in the house that I cannot enter. "Uncle Remi, your food is ready and on the kitchen table" Seyi the cook announced to me. I was in the room I normally stay in the Smith's house. I quickly dashed to the kitchen, took my food and rushed backed to continue the series I was watching. As I settled down to eat and watch, I heard noises upstairs, it was the voice of two adults arguing. I quickly dismissed any worries I had as Mr. and Mrs. Smith are in the habit of arguing loudly. Midway into the food, I decided to get a drink for myself. I normally keep drinks inside the refrigerator located in the sitting room upstairs as it is off limit to the house staff. As I was going up stairs, so was Aunty Tomi dashing down the stairs in a weird Costume and with a face lost of expression or emotion; like someone in shock. "Good afternoon Aunty, hope all is well this one u dey like this? " I asked. She just brushed pass me without a single reply. I wasn't perturbed either as sometimes she behaves like someone with a serious mood swing. I opened the sitting room door and went to locate my drink when I heard a grunt then a loud masculine scream behind the red cushion. I jumped up, went closer to investigate the source when I saw uncle Tony in a pool of blood and a knife stuck in his abdomen just below his rib cage. I dashed towards him, tried to carry him but he was too heavy. So I decided to get help downstairs. As I was about turning the door knob, the door flew open and Mr. and Mrs. Smith rushed in. "What is happening here? What have you done? Whose blood is that?" before I could reply the various questions thrown at me, Mrs. Smith had noticed Uncle Tony's body on the floor. "Did you kill him? Oh Remi what have you done?" Mrs Smith barraged me with questions. "Ma I saw him like this o" Eventually, Police was called and I was taken in for questioning. The interrogators accused me of killing him. I cried, sworn on my dead grandparents name, and all the deities known to man yet they were hell bent on charging me for a case I know nothing about. But thank goodness the real killer was later discovered and I was let go. Only to realise that Aunty Tomi is the brain behind the murder. The Killer The only child of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, I had the best life any human could wish for. My father is the chairman of Smiths Breweries and Smiths Refinery; the only private refinery in the country. My mother's family is the owner of the famous Clippers Estate in Elizabeth Island of which my mother was the chairman before Ill health forced her into early retirement. I studied Petroleum Engineering in Leeds University for my first degree and then went to Harvard for my masters degree in Geology and Mining. I wasn't influenced by my family's wealth to live a wayward life. I found Jesus Christ at an early age of 13 and He has been my sheild and rock ever since. I love the poor and I never discriminate in my choice of friends and relationship so long as there is fear of God in the fellow. After my studies, my father started grooming me for the eventual take over of the refinery and marriage to his best friends son Jade. Jade Dosumu is a fine young man but he doesn't share my faith in the Lord Jesus so we came to an understanding that the betrothal will not work and we both went our ways. My father wasn't angry rather he supported my decision but my mother was concerned that I will end up with a loser who will come reap where he did not sow. To cut the long tale short, I married 3 years ago to man God told me was my husband. I met Tony shortly after joining the board of directors of the Refinery. He was the graphic designer employed to handle the Refinery's rebranding scheme. He is funny, handsome, witty and God-fearing. We became friends and got tighter against my mother's wishes. She told me I could do better for a man but I was believing God and his words concerning Tony. He is from a poor background, first born in a family of six. He studied computer engineering in the university sustaining off jobs like website design and development, designing a skill which he picked up from years of practice with the aged computer given to him by his uncle. My wedding was supposed to be the talk of the town but to avoid unnecessary media attention and talks about how Mr Smith's daughter married a pauper who couldn't even afford a wedding gown, we opted for a closed wedding where only close family relatives and friends were invited. Tony is not all that bad. He lives in a rented apartment and he has an office with two people assisting him with his Web design and graphics outfits. I know he has a bright future and with his fear of God and diligence in worship, I know he will make it big in life. To also avoid my mother's sharp criticism, I transfer a chunk of the money in my account to Tony to act as the sponsor of the wedding and arrangements. Our marriage wasn't without the normal trials that every man and wife faces. But with prayers and a heart of love we resolved issues quickly. Although there are things I still wish Tony will not do and do. Sometimes he will just leave the house without telling me his whereabouts. I considered this very irresponsible and wicked; what if something were to happen to him where he went? How am I to explain that I don't know where my husband went? And also, I feel Tony still have this inferiority complex, because whenever I seek his opinion on issues, he will tell me that whatever I decide, is fine by him. I never saw Tony as an immoral man; because all through the time we dated, he never made an attempt to kiss nor touch me immorally. Regardless of his privy to my virginity status, he never womanised he was always accounting for how he spent his days. He had a plan to build a computer company that will one day produce software for Africa's consumption. I love his potentials, his dreams, his fine physique and above all his strong belief in the power of prayers. In fact Tony is my dream man and God has reveal that much to. Our marriage began on a sweet note, two young lover discovering each others. But the bondness did not result into pregnancy. Three years into the marriage no child, not even a miscarriage. I have visited the best doctors both home and abroad and they both had the same story of "you both are healthy and nothing should stop you from having kids of your own. Just continue to try and it will happen soon". The situation weigh really deep down my mind as I was really worried and concerned about giving Tony a child. His mother's fondness of me had reduced and if not for the wealth influence, I know she would have advised her son to take another wife. I haven't set my eyes on her sice after the wedding. In all of these, Tony was a loving husband. He encouraged me,, comforted me on days when my childless situation brought tears to my eyes. He never fail to remind me that God's time is the best. Anyway we continue to coexist as man and wife, we had moved into the mansion of my parents on the advice of Tony. "We should keep an eye on them. Loneliness is not good for old age" he advocated. Although it's only on Sunday we get to spend quality time together. He goes to work early and return late while I close at 6pm he closes at 9pm. Our sex life was almost non existing unless I remind him that doctor advised us to continue trying. So, to rejuvenate our sex life, I decided to try out new things. I visited a sex shop, got some advice and some costumes. The following day, I am going to surprise my husband. I left for work normally and since his office is undergoing renovation, he will work from the house. So I drove my car, parked it out the gate, and walked back into the compound. I had earlier warned the gateman and the maid to suspend their unending greetings before they will announce my arrival because what I want to do must be a total surprise to achieve its purpose. And I have made sure that my husband is the only one at our wing of the house. No household staff comes upstairs unless requested. So I got to the guest house, I changed into the sexy nurse costumes; white short gown with a lace panty underneath, a pushup bra that make my breast and cleavage want to pop and explode. I must admit, I looked smashing and my husband is going to have a brand new experience from his reserved wife. I went upstairs, advanced quietly to our room, the door was a little ajar and my husband was on the phone. I decided to wait for him to be through with his call because I don't know what the surprise may forced out of his mouth and he may be on phone with a client. "She is fine and doing well" I heard my husband replied the caller. "infact am lucky to have met her, she understands me well. Although the situation has been tough on her she is holding up well" My husband must be talking to someone close because they are talking about me and my childless situation. "Greet the children for me, Yes I will say you hi to her." my husband baritone and sexy voice boom from the room. "I was about calling her when your call came, alright bye now big boss." My Tony ended the call. I quickly put my phone on silent because from what I got from the call, he is about to call me. I want the phone to be dailing then I will enter the room to surprise my Husband. "Hello Sunshine, how is my smalle doing today" said my husband, I looked at my phone screen, no incoming call I quickly docked, maybe he has seen me, but my husband continued talking to whomever on the phone. "How are my kids? I am missing them and I hope to see them soon. " my husband continued on the phone."Hah!! ha, talking of seeing soon, the chemical you sent to me, I used the last one today. Am seeing the effect on the woman but my stupid wife is still doing strong" So many words in his sentence wrecked my world and rendered my whole body immobile. Did he just call another woman a pet name he's been calling for years? And Kids? Chemicals? What chemicals? Did he also call me a stupid woman? This must be a bad dream. "I should increase the dose for her?" My husband's voice jolted me back to reality. "Infact if they fail to die early as planned, I may have to set up an accident for them. Don't worry dear I will be careful. Once the woman dies I will now get her pregnant then she will make me her next of kin then I will strike. I remember the plan sweetheart. I also got my visa yesterday so you just have to send another batch of the chemical so that I can finish the foolish church girl and her mama. Do you know that we pray before and after sex? Yes o the foolish girl thinks it's the Devils work that she is barren not knowing that Dr. Tony is in charge." I have had enough! I barged into the room firing questions to Tony. "Who is that person you are talking to? So Tony you have an evil plan to destroy me and my family?" My husband began to sweat like a child caught stealing meat from the pot. "Baby, it's not what you think" he replied with a shaky voice. "No Tony tell me exactly what you think I heard." I barked at him. "That you have a wife and kids abroad? That you have been killing me and my mother slowly with God knows what chemicals? Ha Tony! After picking you from the dust, against my mother's words and advice, I married you. You are done for" I rushed out of the room to go and inform the gateman to lock the gates while I call police for the idiot. Tony followed me. He grabbed me from the back held my mouth and nose violently and then began to suffocated me. I struggled with every bit of my body. That was when I sighted a knife on the mini dinner table. I grabbed it, and launched it into Tony. The initial shock sent him crashing into the sitting room, I chased after him still clutching the knife. I delivered a second stab into his stomach and he tumbled behind the sofa. I quickly dashed out of the sitting room. I began to desend the stairs when I saw Remi climbing the up the stairs. I was too in shock to notice him, I just continued on my way. Went into my car and drove away. I drove round the city, switched off my phone and began to replay the events that happened. So my husband is married? He had it in mind and in practical to kill me and my mother. He deserves to die. In fact he deserves more than death. Three years of childlessness and to imagined that I blamed myself and my God. I blamed my celibacy till marriage stance. There were times I wished I had had sex before marriage, maybe I would have taken in or maybe I would have discovered early that I am barren. I cursed the day I met Tony. I regretted ever looking at him twice. I went to the church. At this trying time, one must seek the face of the Lord. One must pray and remain steadfast to prevent my faith from sinking. I lost track of time in church while I pray and sob before the Lord pondering on what to do next. When I stepped out of the church, it was already dark. I decided to switch on my phone. Immediately, I got notification of numerous messages. I surfed through and decided to read my mom's. "Tomi where are you, call me immediately you get this." read the first message. Her other messages were also in that fashion except the last one which states that " Remi has been arrested in connection with the murder and the police needs you to verify a claim in his statement." My heart skipped a beat. No way am I going to allow Remi suffer for a crime he had no idea of. I swinged the car into reverse and lurged it forward to the nearest police station where I confessed to the crime. The officers were shocked and in disbelief. They asked me why he wanted to kill me but it was too embarrassing to tell them that the man I called husband for years is a fake and a killer who has come to reap where he did not sow. @longesegun m.facebook.com/longe.segun |
