Guys, costume matters. Sensory ninjas are scarce. Although ninjas can sense chakra to some extent, it is very unlikely you'l run into a sensory ninja. You guys talked about jiraiya and co. During the ninja war, jiraiya, tsunade and oro wore green/grey/whatever and not their usual colors. If you can keep down your chakra, you'll not be spotted (in the absence of sensory nins of course). During the orochimaru chunin exams invasion, some anbu guy thought he saw something, but the sand dudes were properly masked in the bush so he thought he was imagining things and moved on.

How many jounins can solo sai? All the jounins I know can solo him. The anbu guys just have special powers thats all. And they are very good assasins. Being an anbu guy before becoming a regular shinobi can help a lot, esp in battle analysis.

I do not agree. They are somewhere between chunins and jounins with great analytical skills. Kabuto killed anbu guys silently on the hospital floor, he wouldn't have killed jounins like that. i actually like itachi. Itachi beacme an anbusquad leader at 12? So what? Kakashi became a jounin before that age. Rapmike is a serious Itachi fan! As in!!! Kakashi, shikamaru and minato are smarter than itachi! They are not as strong as he is but they are smarter.
