I see you being angry at yourself for making one slip, but lemme ask you, what did you use to reward yourself for the 49 days you were disciplined?

Did you congratulate yourself? Did you take yourself out? Did you tell yourself kind, encouraging words? Did you tell yourself, I'm proud of how far you've come?

I'd bet you didn't.

Yet one little mistake, you're ready to beat yourself up. That's no way to grow. If you can't forgive yourself, you can't love yourself. If you don't truly love yourself, you can't truly love another person - not your wife, not your kids.

I used to be a perfectionist, always unsatisfied if I don't get 100%, but I learned to forgive myself when I make mistakes, and more importantly, to celebrate every little win.

If you have celebrated every single day you were able to go without breaking your streak, this tiny mistake won't be an issue. You'll pick yourself up and get back on the horse without feeling "depressed".

Yes it's possible. Not everyone bleeds during the first sex. Sometimes, the hymen is just pushed to the side and remains there.

Or the blood would have been so little, it wasn't noticeable and quickly disappeared after the first few thrustings.

I call it the nectar.

This is a funny analysis and it made me laugh out loud.

I also low key wonder if the bad things happening to people are as a result of someone's transgressions in the past. Like these boys breaking girls' hearts... Maybe the girls' fathers were 'OGs' in the past?

And I wonder if karma is waiting for some of these people down the road.

Girl fell in love with me after being friends for close to seven years. First time in my life a girl would cry cos of me. I knew I couldn't reciprocate the love and I gave her space for her to heal. One whole year without contact, from someone we talk almost every day.

We're cool now, but I only allow conversations like three times a month or so.

Laslas, everyone will reap the fruit of their actions, one way or another, directly or indirectly.

It's almost a dare. Sure, my babe has male friends, but I don't get jealous at all. She knows how many girls want me like cray.

I told all my female friends I have someone, and I've also shown my babe numerous chats where the girl said, I wish you were single.

If she gets tempted by some random guy, she knows she's the one who's going to lose, because several girls are more than willing to relieve her of that position.

Friend of a friend.

We got to chatting online, and after a while, we agreed to meet.

One day, I met her neighbour (Her neighbour was dating my friend that introduced me to her). This neighbour was a pretty cool chick, even though I was also meeting her for the first time. But we'd both heard about each other.

Okay. Help me send for the girl I came to see. She asked a kid to go while she kept me company.

Would you believe the girl I was waiting for came and stood afar off while looking at me but wouldn't come close to me?

She was jumping up and down, and stopping to look at me at intervals. I guess she was so excited excited I actually came. I couldn't even see her face properly, and she was still in her school uniform. Heck, I was still in mine too. Lol. Secondary school days. I was getting irritated because I was tired after the long day at school and the detour I had to make yet the girl was too shy to come see me, not to mention wasting my time.

Her neighbour volunteered to go drag her for me, and went to meet her but wasn't able to convince her to come closer. I got tired of waiting and walked away.

After I'd walked a distance, I heard them calling me back but I just lockup, put earpiece in my ear.

We still continued chatting afterwards, and I don't remember my actual first meeting with her. But I know I invited her to come work in the same place with me back then and that made us get much more closer and know each other better.

We were very good friends for over seven years before we finally started dating.

The matter funny sha. But I've picked up a thing or two from reading through all the comments from the beginning.

When I think about it, it's not common for my parens' friends to refer to either of them by their names, but it happens.

In my own little experience, my babe is a family friend. She has her own relationship with everyone in my family and they all address her by her name.

I doubt that's gonna change when we get married

I think this name calling matter is dependent on two factors.

1. How your friend wants his wife to be addressed.

2. The closeness between you and your friend's spouse.

But between these two factors, methinks the wishes of the man carries more weight.

Like it or not, marriage is an accomplishment in this side of the world so yeah, people attach a lot of things to it.

It is also true that every man wants to guard his territory, even women. "Your wife", "your husband", "Madam", "Oga" and other similar titles do that for people, i.e., guarding their territories.

And as someone said, with the emotional blindness people develop in the area of marriage, it is not far-fetched for anyone to jump into conclusion that you're sleeping with their wife, that's why you can afford to be so familiar with them.

About the friendship, na man you be.

If you want to cut it off, it's up to you. But I don't think you should hide it.

Straight up tell him that he effed up and tell him your grievances. You guys might be able to come to a better understanding and respect for each other or you reach a compromise.

Even if you don't, at least everyone is clear on where the other person is.

I no dey like any funky business. If you no rate me, tell me to my face. Don't hide about it or beat around the bush.

That said, for the sake of peace, do as he says.

If you can't, let everyone go their separate ways.

Never buy something during a promo. Most times defective and refurbished products that were returned are packaged to be sold during black friday promos. For instance I discovered that drinks ShopRite sold to me in this years black friday have all expired.

Relax. Call her and apologise for what has happened. Offer to refund the N250k and maybe a little more for inconveniences she had undergone. Calling police is not cheap in Nigeria. She would have spent about N10k to bring police to your house.

The case is a bit complex, as you did not steal the money yourself. You cannot be prosecuted without involving her daughter as well as the money was transfered from her account, and she will not want her daughter arrested and prosecuted. Except they twist the story and alleged that you threatened her daughter.

If she agrees go with a senior family member or a lawyer if you have one that can follow you for free or cheap. When paying back the money make sure you use bank transfer directly from your account for record purposes. If you don't have the full sum now, transfer what you have and give a date to pay the balance.

If the case goes to police and subsequently to court, you and your girlfriend's mum would down a lot of money. She might even spend more than the N250k, as she will first be required to bail her daughter. Mention this to her if she refuses to cooperate.

Final issue. You will also need to settle the IPO to close the case. A minimum of N10k

One more thing - I hope her daughter (your girlfriend) is not a minor (under 18). If she is, you are in for a lot more trouble.

The girl was 17 last year when he first made the post about the gifts he was receiving from her.

So what do you think? Will they prosecute him based on her being a minor or adult?
