I been missing in action for quite a while now. From what I can see, the new kid on the block is AB7. We are all wishing that the MBC packages should be included in their NWA beam.
However, I hate sounding like a prophet of doom. Our ALMIGHTY BB is ubiquitously looking out for any intruder into her turf. Whatever it takes, thay'll make sure that our arab would be benefactors don't steal an inch of a slice of their pudding just like they've succeeded with the chinkos.
I hope I get to be proven other wise.

The Digital Sole Thieves (DST*) or BB, whatever you call them cannot do anything if those channels should migrate to NWA beam. North west africa is an open market for anybody to do business. If those nice channels beams on our region, hmm!, the digital sole thieves are going to loose a lot. I remember in those days when they were no copetitor to them, they were selling their customised reciever that cannot be used on another satellite at the rate of 50 000 naira ($323) but when Mytv came, everything changed. When their sister (MTN) came to Naija, they milked us dry. They sold their simcard at the rate of 40 000 naira ($259) but now, it is being sold at about 67 cent not even up to a dollar and this is because they have a lot of competitors. So in nutshell, if the Arabs really meant business, the digital sole thieves cannot stop them.

Dark side are of different categories. Inputing of keys or softcam keys requires no penny but when it comes to buying of different gadgets, well I am totally out of it. It consumes money and encourages laziness. I will term inputing of keys or flashing with softcam keys and other softwares as semi-free to air.

I hear you GeargeD. It boggles my mind why anyone in west, north or East Africa would want to be on the dark side. You have nilesat 201, 101, AB7, Yahsat and a certain astra ABD which only shines on that side. With a big dish you can even get hotbird,

The reason is because of the A.S.A.S problem. You know, human beings are insatiable. No matter what we have on our recievers, we will always hunt for new rubbish channels that just emerged.

They didn't congratulate him during the time of posting but after two years of posting of his marriage ceremony they started congratulating him as if the ceremony is still coming ahead. @ All, the Nigerian communication satellite limited promised that Nigcomsat-1r is going to be operational last week, tuesday to be precise but up till now, nothing have been heared or seen from them. Have anybody noticed that?

Actually I have no question concerning anything on C band either on a small or big dish. Like I have said earlier that I don't have anything against you. @people, why are you forcing Cband LNBs mearnt for 1.8m to 3m prime focus dishes on 90cm offset dishes? is it to save cost or space? Discussions on this subject on other forums indicates that this approach usually catches the strongest transponders and misses the rest.

Hey guy, one will still watch some free channels (eg 1 music, Optima sports etc) from C band which does not exist or encrypted on ku band without bothering of the space where to install the dish.

@ Obnelly, congratulation on this archivement. I really agree with you that for one to archive this that the person have to think and do some manipulation and maneuver the absence of original lnb holder. I discover that your lnb skew is at 9 o'clock right?

@ pboy2buzy, you have asked this question for multiple times and it seems as nobody want to respond to you. I want to make it clear to you, that this forum doesn't support decryption of paytv, it purely treat free to air activities. I suggest that you pass your question to the person who persuaded you to buy it or to the person you purchased it from. I would have help you if really know how to use it. I don't have it and wouldn't want to have it. I'm satisfied with what I get on fta. It gives me joy when I get what paytv have from fta and not from decryption of paytv. Thank you.

To peeps in southern nigeria who loves to watch some high profile epl matches beam live arriadia2(at times 2m) on eutelsat w6 but has issues getting d satellite on offset dishes. 2m & arriadia2 is now available available on atlantic bird 7 @7.2'w north west africa beam. I got the tp 11.156 v 20000 with d following signal quality:
1.8m prime focus dish 98%
1m offset motorised dish 84%
60cm offset dish 65%.

Intelsat New Dawn is a satellite at 33 degres east and not channel.
