Iron2011: kuntash:Go to Sobis shop either in Lagos or Onitsha. They are one of the biggest Mytv distributor in the countary. They never compromise, you will always buy original Strong product from them. |
lovala:KTN is not back on AB3 and their signal on that satellite have always been so epileptic. They are back in one hour and in next one week they disappear. STV 1 and 2 are rocking strongly. |
soloqy:Why would you say such a thing? So you are saying that the price DSTV is giving Nigerians for their products and services doesn't concern our government. Are you ignorant of the government policies? In organised countries like western world, goverment determines the prices of products and services. It is just that our government is not handling things the way it suppose to be. When they newly came to Nigeria, our leader then conived with them and they were ripping the masses simple because the masses are ignorant of their right. Can they do such thing in South Africa? Today they will bring down their price of their product and tomorrow they will increase it. The price they were giving for their scrab box in olden days can buy three of their boxes today. |
auchs:@ auchs my man, I thought you understood what what I meant my guy. Just input #10,000:00k in your reciever and your reciever will open. I hope you understand me by now, see ya. @ wajab99, this code only work for people in Nigeria. If any Ghananian who understood what I meant should be able to convert it for you. |
wajab99:I can't really remember the code to open some channels on Infinitytv but I know the code for Dstv which will be very simple for you to input it on your receiver. Just try and input the code and you will be smilling when it opens your reciever but remember that this code only work for people in Nigeria. The code is #10,000:00k. Happy viewing. ![]() |
versace400:Well, I see nothing wrong for one to buy fairly used 60cm dish provided that the dish is 100% ok. It will be cheaper for the person; like five to seven hundred naira. |
auchs:Yeah, for sure the dual LNBF is more powerful than the single LNBF. |
@ gadotor, that is a nice work. You turnned a mesh dish into solid dish. I know that is a 2.4m dish right? Determination leads to success. Keep it up. |
@ All, the old DSTV card is not working on strong reciever since yesterday even though the subscription have not expired, have anybody noticed this? @ All, I have second hand 2.4m comstar mesh dish for sale. Price is 12k, no reduction. I'm in Awka, Anambra state. |
For those of you who love CAF champions legue, there will be match between HILAL and E.S.T by 6pm Nigerian time. AFNEX will be showing it. |
Ikiriye:Ikiriye, thanks man. I really appreciate your response. |
Abdul010:@ Abdul010, I have not tracked hotbird but for sure I know that it will be difficult to track nilesat and hotbird on 1.8m dish. The distance from 7w to 13e is far and for 1.8m dish to capture this two satellite that doesn't have footprint in Nigeria will be difficult because what you are asking is like using 90cm to track hotbird. The distance between the two satellite reading from nilesat is like cutting your 1.8m dish into two which shows that you are asking if you can track hotbird with 90cm. It will be possible if its footprint is covering nigeria.on of your usual assistance. larryenob:@ larryenob, thanks for the info. @ auch, I will give it a trial tomorrow morning if the weather is bright but remember I so much believe in DIY (do it yourself). I will give you a call later in the day. |
toba:Yeah, I did even when he migrated from nile to badr. You know, George is using 3m while mine is 2.4m. I wanna be sure before tracking. |
@ All, is any body recieving badr4-6 using 2.4m solid pan either in the east, south or west? North is not inclusive. I would like any body recieving it to reply to me ASAP. Your response will be highly appreciated. |
Estiimable:Never mind, when we see each other, we gonna recognise each other. |
@ All, the 132p is better than 130p. The picture improved, the audio output is louder though it have the same boot version as 130p which is 5.0. 127p has 5.10 boot version which makes the blind, manual, and auto scan to scan faster though it doesn't have picture in picture. The 127p was created to correct AAC and HEEAAC audio format which came with Infinitytv channels. In all, the 132p is better than other patch for 69x. So if your 69x reciever is not blind scanning, I advice that you take it to technician to put it inorder for you. |
Adex70:@ Adex70, thanks for your update. @ All, lets wait till ending of october and see what happen because I strongly believe that AB7 will be better than AB4a because AB7 will be having its footprint in Nigeria and it is going to boost the signal strength we will be recieving by then and some of the channels are likely to migrate to AB7. |
Estiimable:@ Estiimable, come and meet me tomorrow at St Mattews catholic church's gate Amawbia by 6:15pm dot. |
@ George_D, badaru 1, thanks for your quick response. |

@ Adex, are you sure of what you are saying? Nile signal strength usually go down in the evening and you are saying that they are coming up around 6pm to 8pm on 2.4m or is it that you tracked it around 6pm to 8pm? Pls I want you to check the signal strength around the two diferent time as you said and tell the house because it is important. |
@ George_D, some few weeks back, I tracked nilesat and after some days, I travelled and when I came back behold, I discovered that my nilesat have gone blind and I did everything to track it back but all in vain. Then I returned back to atlantic bird 3; the C band which is not satisfactory to me. I used atlantic bird 2 as reference point and even to track the atlantic bird 2 again turned invincible to me. I even went ahead and changed my lnbf to premium supper hd but all in vain. Though when I tracked it, the signal quality was low and I decided to work on it the next day inorder to achieve maximum quality but rain wouldn't allow me. Pls, advice me on what to do because I intend to track it again this sunday morning if the weather is ok. I reside in Awka (Anambra state) and I use 2.4m solid pan. |
spaceman:Yeah man, I wish that such love, unity, oneness and the flame of willingness to help one another be rekindled again amongst us. But how many of us would like to be of help to one another? Well, everybody on his own. |
auchs:@ auch, congrat oh. My nile is hangging my leg on the air. |
@ Auch, I really sympatise with you oh. My 69x was successful yesterday. Are you sure that those reciever are not fake? I usually buy any strong product from sobis who is one of the leading Mytv distributor and who will not compromise by selling fake product as original product. |
pofolo:Thanks man. |
dolpaz:Who said so, he doesn't need hd to watch astra 2b. He only need any reciever that is mpeg 4. I don't know the reason why people call sd reciever as hd reciever. |
