What you tracked was Dstv and not Amos 5. MultiTv is on top of Amos 5. You should first of all track Amos 5 with any of the two trasponders that I gave toyou. You can never go wrong with those transponders. If you first track MultITv and another lnbf on top of MultiTv, it is definitly Dstv that you are going to recieve Remember that the elevation goes higher than Dstv elevation.

ojialo: pls can u give me frequency and symbol rates cos the one i hv instead of getn amos5 is dstv.

You can use 12216 v 27500 or 12335 v 27500. Blind scan after tracking for other trasponders to come up.

ojialo: i already track multitiv but i added another LMB to track the amos5 but all i get is the dstv channels pls help me.

@ Ojialo, try and track Amos5 first before you proceed to MultiTv.

@ Theloveth, you are welcome to this great forum. There are still some FTA channel there. You will need to adjust your dish for those channel to come up. If you need plenty of FTA channels then get yourself mpeg4 Strong reciever.

@ sunny78, I suspect that your cardreader is no longer working, you need to take your reciever to a good technician for repair.

odilibe: you are totally right...satellite arc/elevation/azimuth round the globe are not same ...if you are using a motorized dish or ACTUATOR/HH MOUNT DISEQC MOTOR down here, you need to move dish left or right in-order to track another satellite unlike up-ward or down-ward movement....while dish facing astra,hotbird etc..are not even looking at the sky.

I agree with you bro. I have seen a lot of pictures of dish hooked up on Nilesat from our brother in north Africa. The dish are positioned as if they are hooked up on Intelsat 7/20 in 9ja though those dish are facing west.

@ Xpset, I marvelled at this your post. I suspect that what you nailed with 90cm dish is Eutelsat 7 West at seven degrees west and not Nilesat but if I may ask, what are the channels that you are recieving on Nilesat with 90cm?

Sorry i was off network coverage area since morning. Was able to gain access to a 1.8m dish. The channel exists and showing loud and clear with good signal. My only fear is if they sometimes scramble with biss during important programmes as they do with Jesus is lord channel. (noticed dat ''Jesus is Lord'' channel on intelsat 7/10 broadcast the same progamme as that one). Maybe i should bring it to the house. My warm Regards to you and pidzo.

@ mide8e, you need to check and see if other trasponders on the same satellite is working and if they are not then you have to reallign your dish properly and if they are working then try and blindscan that satellite on your reciever.
