usermane: Peace OP, i did like your post because it further inform me of how biase both muslims and xtians can be, to justify their beliefs. I don't believe traditional muslims today are any different from the christians they derive pleasure from criticizing. It is simple, they both follow teachings of men that are unathorized by God in the scriptures(Mark 7:6-13, Qur'an 6:114, 10:35-37, 42:21). I left traditional Islam some months ago. I 'll tell you some of the reasons.

I can't believe apart from God, a messenger,Priest or cleric can command me to adopt other teachings not found in the book of God. That is idolatry(9:31, 18:102). Neither can i take even a messenger as my guide or intercessor, again that is idolatry( Qur'an 2:48, 10:35, 3:79). Because the messengers of God did not say: "follow me", but said "follow only the scripture/message, follow only God".


I can't believe that Muhammad ascended heaven and dialogued face to face with God, can't believe that God has a leg or has five fingers as today muslims preach from Sahih Bukhari. This is blasphemy, no better than trinity doctrine(Qur'an 6:103).

I'm actually feeling led to post here,though I don't post much at all,but for some reason,I woke up this morning and was feeling abit incomplete,hence coming here to seek some advice on how to live through it all.
I understand that I would get encouraging comments as well as immature and ridiculous comments,but all in all,its the grace of God that has kept us all sane and alive till date.

I never thought I'd be the lady staying calm and waiting almost endlessly for the one I would spend the rest of my life with.the one who would one day become my husband and the father of my children.my best friend and love.

I'm generally not the woman you would see often on d streets as I am mostly indoors,I was brought up to be around home,and as such days I have tried going out on my own hasn't been fruitful.I end up spending a few minutes out,then head back home,I also have limited friends because most of the ones I call friends are away in far cities and countries. The few I have around are mostly all married and don't hang out much either.

I am a christian and have noticed that I have a thing for christian men who are filled with the word of God.needless to say that I would eventually be gettin into ministry in my older years,and every prophetic word I have heard about my marriage has pointed to the fact that the man God has prepared for me would also most likely be in ministry and a huge God lover.

Now the thing is where on earth is this man?I am tired of waiting and I don't want to make a mistake.I am in my late 20's slowly approachin 30 soon and would like to settle within the next one year.

My family is puttin a lot of pressure on me and I am starting to crumble under the pressure of havin to remain sane while waiting for my own.I have indeed met a lot of other men who I dare not settle with.eg party rockers,drinkers,womanizers and the rest.does it mean that all the good men are taken?

His Qiraa'ah named Duuri from Abu 'Amr is popular in parts of Africa like Somalia, Sudan as well as in other parts. His chain of from Abu 'Amr:

He heard from Abu Muhammad Yahya ibn Mubarak ibn Mugheerah Yazidiyy (d. 202H), who heard from Abu 'Amr Zuban ibn 'Ala Maziniyy Al-Busriyy (d. 154H), who heard from the Qiraa'aat from Sahaabis Ali and Uthman and Abu Musa and Umar and Ubayy ibn Ka'b and Zayd ibn Thaabit, who heard from the Prophet (PBUH).


The Transmitter Warsh, who is Abu Saeed Uthman ibn Saeed Al-Misri, nicknamed Warsh, (d. 197H):
HIs Qiraa'ah named Warsh from Naafi' is popular in North Africa. His chain from Naafi':

He heard from Naafi' ibn Abdur-Rahman ibn Abu Nu'aim Al-Madani (d. 169H), who heard from Abu Ja'far Yazid ibn Al-Qa'qaa' and Abu Dawud Abdur-Rahman ibn Hurmuz Al-A'raj and Shaybah ibn Nisah Al-Qaadhi and Abu Abdullah Muslim ibn Jundub Al-Hudhali and Abu Rawh Yazid ibn Ruman, who heard from Abu Hurairah and Ibn Abbaas and Abdullah ibn 'Ayyaash ibn Abi Rabii'ah, who heard from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who heard from the Prophet (PBUH).


The Transmitter Suusi:
His Qiraa'ah named Suusi from Abu 'Amr is also found around the world in small parts.

In case Muslim readers should be greatly concerned: The variances between these different versions of the Koran are generally quite small and minor, although there are a substantial number of them. Muhammad Fahd Khaaruun has published a version of the (Hafs) Koran which contains the variant readings from the 10 Accepted Readers in its margins. About 2/3 of the ayat (verses) have some sort of variant reading. The great majority are differences in the vowels inserted in certain words (remembering that the early written kufic texts of the Koran did not include vowels or diacritical marks). There appears to be only one difference that might represent a significant effect on belief, that in surah 2:184. There are many Islamic scholars' discussions about these many differences. As an example of one, in Hafs, surah 2:140 reads taquluna, while in Warsh, that text is in surah 2:139 and reads yaquluna. Another example: Hafs surah 2:214 reads yaquula while Warsh surah 2;212 reads yaquulu. Muslim scholars agree that such variations do not seriously alter the meaning of statements made in the Koran.

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (Quran, 2:190)"

Note the verse said "do not transgress limit"

Allah further said

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (Quran, 8:61)"

Now this is clear if the enemy incline toward peace there should be peace. Read the quran to understand before posting
