Whether you guys like it or not, at least 2 Africa countries will reach World Cup Semi Final and Almighty GIANT of Africa (Nigeria) will win the World Cup. |

Lagos was built with Nigerian resources and as such Lagos belongs to all Nigerians equally Ttalk: You will never see them on the thread about their region, they will be sniffing Nairaland to peck on news about SW. No wonder their region attracted zero foreign investment.
You can change the natrativves by promoting your state instead of focusing on Lagos state |
Politics › Re: Who Are The Indeginous Peoples Of Lagos ? by DMerciful(m): 5:52am On Nov 15, 2025 |
Lagos has been conquered by the Nigerian State and developed by Nigeria. Unless Nigeria disintegrate, Lagos is gone for good! DelilahMakinde: The indigenous peoples of Lagos State, Nigeria, are primarily the Awori and the Ogu (Egun) people.
The Awori , a Yoruba sub-group, are considered the original settlers of much of Lagos, including areas like Ikeja. The Ogu (Egun) people are mainly found in the Badagry area.
Additionally, the Ilaje and Ijebu , who are also Yoruba groups, are indigenous to parts of Lagos, especially in coastal and eastern divisions like Lekki Peninsula, Epe, and Ikorodu.
Historically, other ethnic groups such as the Bini (Edo), Saros, Brazilians , Kannike/Tapa , and some Nupe have also settled in Lagos, but the Awori and Ogu remain recognized as the primary indigenous owners of the state

Politics › Re: 2027: Peter Obi's Current Dilemma by DMerciful(m): 7:55pm On Nov 09, 2025 |
Obi is not desperate to be president VeryWickedMan: Read my last thread to understand this fully...
Believe it or not, Peter Obi is trapped. The man is conflicted.
Let me highlight his current status before I delve in deeper.
Point #6 is non-negotiable. It is why Obi will agree to Point #3.
If Peter Obi does not run in 2027 his supporters will leave him but if Atiku does not run in 2027 nothing will happen when he returns to run.
IF, and a very big IF, Atiku agrees to allow Peter Obi to run under ADC in 2027, Tinubu is gone.
If Atiku signs a handover deal with Tinubu for 2031 like Buhari/Tinubu did then it is over for Peter Obi (and Wike)
Atiku holds all the aces after his defection + Buhari's demise and this is why it will be extremely difficult to make him step down. To be honest, this is Atiku's best ever chance to be President and Peter Obi knows it. |

You're displaying lunacy. What a crazy thinking Kushites: What if the US is threatened by Africa's growing economic independence, and is trying to sabotage it?
What if the American "concern for Christians in Nigeria" is a ruse to enter Nigeria and bomb key infrastructure like the Dangote Refinery, now being upgraded to 1.4 million barrels a day capacity, making it the largest Refinery on Earth?
The Americans can generate a situation that leads to that facility getting destroyed, either by their sponsored "terrorists" or by themselves, perhaps in "error".
A stray missile. Oops. Sorry.
Setting back our energy independence by another ten years or more.

They wanted coup badly but the military denied them, now they want Trump to order Us troops to invade Nigeria while in the process, change of government would happen
