PoliticsRe: Wike Has 3 Houses In US - Sowore To Florida Attorney-General by DMerciful(m): 3:40pm On Sep 20, 2025
So why buy the houses in cash and in names of his wife and children?
Image123:
A two time governor of Rivers state and minister of the Federal Republic cannot afford a house? Feed us intelligently na, abegggg. All these gist is mere distraction.
PoliticsRe: Wike Has 3 Houses In US - Sowore To Florida Attorney-General by DMerciful(m): 3:39pm On Sep 20, 2025
Who is a former judge? Wike's wife is a current judge.

She has to prove why she bought houses in cash and how her salary justifies those houses.

By the way, why are you defending corruption? Because you're corrupt?
PigTormentor:
So a former Judge can't have houses in Florida?
This clown is just wasting his time especially with Florida govt.
Those ones are as corrupt as any African leader.
They go to any length to protect corrupt judges like Thomas and corrupt Trump.
They will laugh off Sowore.
As long as Wike doesn't say anything bad about Trump, they will protect him even if they have evidence of corruption. That's the new America.
If he says anything bad about Trump, they will manufacture evidence even if one doesn't exist. We are now living under a western dictatorship.
PoliticsRe: Wike Has 3 Houses In US - Sowore To Florida Attorney-General by DMerciful(m): 3:36pm On Sep 20, 2025
It was Wike that attavked Sowore first. Wike has jam a man that is as mad as himself.

I'm happy this has gone to US, Wike will lose those houses eventually
helinues:
Why is Sowore picking fight with everyone? What is he intend to achieve with such behavior.

Tinubu has no path to victory even if he appoints Seyi Tinubu

PoliticsRe: Kanu Seeks Transfer From DSS Custody To National Hospital Over Liver Issues by DMerciful(m): 9:35pm On Sep 19, 2025
Buhari has expired so talk another thing. You can't compare a man in detention for this long even when several courts hace freed him to a sick president spending tax payers money on his health perpetually while destroying the economy with his ineptitude
Bovis:
When Kanu was mocking Buhari an older man about his ill health, some of his supporters were cheering and encouraging him but he’s now facing his own health challenges.

We should never make mockery of anyone’s illness, cos karma is a bitch. I wish Kanu a speedy recovery
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Engineers Outperformed Indians During Refinery Project - Dangote by DMerciful(m): 9:32pm On Sep 19, 2025
Indians built one of the fastest intercontinental ballistic missile and currently doing space technology. Because the sent their OND graduates to come work here, we think we can compare ourselves with India?

Man, know thyself!

PoliticsRe: Happy For Gov Sim To Return To His Position by DMerciful(m): 9:27pm On Sep 19, 2025
You're not happy he is back but pretending
helinues:
After Gov Fubara and the Rivers state house of assembly was suspended for 6 months, it's good that they all return after the 6 months expiration.

So many lessons must have been learned from all the parties involved.

To the naysayers saying it was indirect removal of Gov Sim as Rivers state governor, Ntor
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Paid Me Surprise Visit With ‘Ghana Must Go’ Bag – Charly Boy by DMerciful(m): 9:15pm On Sep 19, 2025
For him to be president depends solely on Nigerian masses but sadly 220 million people behaving like 220 million mannequins
tosyne2much:
Sadly, it still won't change the fact that he will not be Nigerian president

The political structure of Nigeria is not designed for an underdog like Peter Obi to emerge as president

PoliticsRe: 2027: Those Fronting Jonathan Bent On Causing National Crisis, Says Wike by DMerciful(m): 9:05pm On Sep 19, 2025
Wike actually made Atiku win the ticket in 2023. Wike influenced the zoning comittee chairman Orthom to leave the ticket open instead of zoning to the South and then SE by virtue of equity because he doesn't want Obi to emerge but himself. Wike bought a lot of delegates but he never knew Tambuwal would do what he did.

Atiku did nothing because Wike leaving the ticket open made Atiku eligible to contest
VOsimhen144:
I’m not a fan of Wike but PDP deserves all treatment Wike is showing them.

PDP really planned a political heist and ambush on Wike. Atiku was not supposed to even contest in the election. Where Buhari a northerner that just finished 8 years tenure, according to PDP zoning, the next president was supposed to be zoned to the south. But Atiku refused to step aside. Now they have collectively destroyed PDP and then ran away to form ADC.

Constitutional ammendments requires concurrennce from 2/3 of the states houses of assemblies. Almost all the givernors are aligned so what is the challenge? Your excuse is not valid
oyatz:
You obviously don't know the differences between constitutional ammendments and ordinary acts of National Assembly.

Because, it would require constitutional ammendments
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Can Never Get It Right Until It Returns To Regional Federation. by DMerciful(m): 10:40pm On Sep 18, 2025
Nigeria is already divided to 36 states. You can only restructure on the basis of states

60 years are not enough to structure a nation?
PoliticsRe: Residents Light Up Port Harcourt As Fubara Returns (Video) by DMerciful(m): 10:20pm On Sep 18, 2025
Lies. Infact Tinubu saved Wike from being defeated by Fubara using the Supreme Court that adjudicated on a matter that was not before it and left the PDP govs suit before it
Slytiger:
Tinubu saved him from impeachment. Tinubu is a political genius.
PoliticsRe: You Are Lucky Tinubu Respects Rule Of Law – Wike Tells Sowore by DMerciful(m): 10:18pm On Sep 18, 2025

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Can Never Get It Right Until It Returns To Regional Federation. by DMerciful(m): 10:17pm On Sep 18, 2025
Nigeria will continue to be structured on the basis of 36 states or more but certainly states. Regionalism is dead for good!
Oldebo:
what is the state you talking about?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Can Never Get It Right Until It Returns To Regional Federation. by DMerciful(m): 10:10pm On Sep 18, 2025
Nigeria is working? We want Lower Niger Republic, we want Biafra, we want Oduduwa Republic, Arewa Republic and Middle Belt Republic.

Both of my parents are from Delta State 100%
Burob:
Onitsha man claiming Delta State, which big heart state person will talk of separation?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Can Never Get It Right Until It Returns To Regional Federation. by DMerciful(m): 10:04pm On Sep 18, 2025
Regionalism is dead and buried forever. No state will like to be subsumed in a region except those thinking they will get Lagos that was built with Nigerian resources and that belongs to all Nigerians equally
Oldebo:
State had Already failed, and separation can ever come through take Sudan as an example.
PoliticsRe: State Police, The Dream Of The Visionless And The Ignorant by DMerciful(m): 9:58pm On Sep 18, 2025
Has Tinubu attempted to implement state police and SE opposed him? Why are you ignoring the elephant in the room?
Ttalk:
Where is the logic in the bolded.

Why didn't you clamour for the removal of immunity clause instead of going against creation of state police?

People are seeing through SE shenanigans and your adamant support of centralized government. How do we operate centralized government with a federal constitution?

What is your fear about true federalism that dictates the subregions are autonomous and not tied to the apron of centralized government?

What has the centralized system offered Nigeria after 60 years?
PoliticsRe: State Police, The Dream Of The Visionless And The Ignorant by DMerciful(m): 9:56pm On Sep 18, 2025
It has to be state police!

Regionalism is dead and buried. Gowon, supported by Awolowo killed Regionalism for ever
helinues:
Power drunk governors would abuse state police. Regional policing is still fair
PoliticsRe: State Police, The Dream Of The Visionless And The Ignorant by DMerciful(m): 9:54pm On Sep 18, 2025
Tinubu is the one that refused to implement state police and you know it
Dotherightthing:
I just knew peegs wills kick against state police because of fear of being kicked out of Lagos cheesy

State police can be established under a very tight framework that will prevent abuse.

The FG will takeover any state in crisis that the state police cannot handle.
PoliticsRe: State Police, The Dream Of The Visionless And The Ignorant by DMerciful(m): 9:53pm On Sep 18, 2025
Gowon and Awolowo killed regionalism for good.

If you're mentioning regions because of Lagos, Lagos will be in West West as it has been before independence
Brenbentondiaz:
Why are deveropers always jittery about anything that will empower regions. They're the ones wailing they want autonomy, they're the ones kicking against any move for autonomy in any form. They hate one Nigeria, but they still want a centralized system. They wailed that Lagos VAT is because of companies having their HQs there. Govt proposed VAT to be paid at the point of sales, they wailed and kicked against it. Wailing at this point is their default mode.
PoliticsRe: State Police, The Dream Of The Visionless And The Ignorant by DMerciful(m): 9:52pm On Sep 18, 2025
You can't for unity. We must restructure to a confederation or separate
san4P:
Thank you for reminding us...

History is good because it helps the wise not to repeat the mistakes of the predecessors... State police is a bad idea at a bad time...

For Nigeria to progress... it has to be one united people with one constitution...
PoliticsRe: State Police, The Dream Of The Visionless And The Ignorant by DMerciful(m): 9:51pm On Sep 18, 2025
One person is they? What is holding Tinubu from implementing state police when almost all the governors have agreed?
Ttalk:
They are coming t one by one. Anyone who tells me SE is seeking Biafra should first check himself whether he is alright.

Imagine same people rejected secession clause.

They rejected state ownership of VAT

They rejected tax bill

Now they are rejecting state police.

What is their fear exactly.

It is because they have been parasite on Nigeria, milking it resources but contribute nothing.

In terms of development they have no record, that's why they populate other regions with better infrastructure, yet their IGR is competing with war zone region.

Whether they like it or not, state police has come to stay

Tinubu has been centralizing instead of decentralizing. This is strange for someone who has been pretentiously shouting restructuring since forever.

Look at state police, he is dragging his feet while insecurity takes over Nigeria

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Can Never Get It Right Until It Returns To Regional Federation. by DMerciful(m): 9:42pm On Sep 18, 2025
Regionalism is dead and buried by Gowon when he divided the 4 regions to 12 states. Awolowo supported Gowon to divide the regions because he wanted to get Lagos State and also wanted to weaken the Eastern region so the East don't breakaway.

Now, its either states as it is or separation.
Oldebo:
Only the way out of this mess in Nigeria is to return Nigeria to regional federation. All the past and the present president had done what they can, to get Nigeria into a real country but failed.
The history had proved the colonial master right for being setting Nigeria nation to regional federation before they left.
It was the Agoi Ironsi fault who truncated the regional federation into the state federation that plunged Nigeria into dilemma.
To get out from this we must return to regional federation.
